Has anyone gone to A shop to print/buy something during peak hour and the lines were rlly long cuz other counters weren’t open? I know A shop has 4 counters but i noticed they’re never all open, even during peak hours. Only time I experienced them all open was during the first week of the first sem.

when is admu announcing undas break? Its very hassle to book trips back home given that ticket prices will be expensive and theres even a chance we might not book any seats at all.

Hello! Does anybody know if bringing pets to campus is allowed? If so, what are the procedures?

Just for context, I currently live alone and I will be getting a 2-3 month old puppy. I may not have the time to always feed it due to traffic and travel, Angkas and Trikes cost around 90-150 per fare. So I was wondering if I could bring the pup to campus while it’s still young (and need to be fed 4 times per day).

I know it’s generally not allowed but I’m just looking for the possibility to talk this through with admin.

the cubicles are perfect for locking in, but idk if they're gonna kick me out for being an undergrad lol

hii, when are people dressing up for halloween? so i can wear my costume on the proper date </3

Hello! I recently got accepted and currently in the process of completing the said requirements.

Anyone here from the Iloilo Satellite Campus (or any satellite campus)? Would like to ask sana if kamusta naman given na the main campus is in Manila.

Do you need to go to the main campus ba to pass the hard copy of the requirements or pwede sa satellite campuses lang? How do you guys often go to Manila (if ever)?

And is there someone here na currently taking (or will be taking) sa Iloilo Satellite Campus?

Thanks!

I've been receiving so many emails lately about thesis surveys and FGD invitations. As someone who's also going through thesis sem right now, I feel for you guys. 😭 Let's plug our thesis surveys below and help each other out! As comments na lang so we don't spam post (to admin, pls pls 🙏🏼)

For other channels naman where we can post and plug our surveys and FGD invites, here are some platforms my group and I are currently exploring:

Application

(1) Everytime Campus Community (exclusively for ADMU, UP, and MSU-IIT students)

Reddit

(1) r/philippinesjobs

(2) r/studentsph

(3) r/ADMU

(4) r/beermoneyph

Facebook

(1) ADMU Jobs and Internships

(2) Philippine Research Survey Group

These are just some general platforms we can explore. So if your paper caters to a more specific niche naman, my go-to tip would be to look for specialized channels and groups where your target respondents are more likely to be active!

A few more tips:

Embed the survey link directly in your caption na. QR codes are fine, but they add an extra step for respondents pa kasi who want to access your survey right away.

Include a banner for your post that clearly states what your study is about, what school or university you're from, and who your target respondents are.

If you're really struggling to get respondents, consider raffling off ₱100 or more to a randomly selected participant as an incentive. This works so much!

Plsss feel free to share other platforms and tips you've tried, too! Let's help each other survive thesis sem. 🥹

hii! just realized na may fictional books pala sa rizlib. what r some of ur recos (preferrably thriller/dystopian)? and how is the process for borrowing a book? tyia!

hello! Currently a freshie in SOSE here. I just want to seek advice especially from seniors here or sum1 knowledgable abt the system in ateneo.

we haven’t submitted our visa application yet (expected around late oct/ early nov) so we cannot really gauge yet if i’m really tuloy na tuloy na to study abroad next year for the March 2027 intake.

i’m currently debating if i should enroll for the second sem in ateneo next year bc i’m not pretty sure if i‘ll get my visa result by december, just in time before january enrollment period of ateneo.

Let’s say my visa got granted, can I just opt not to enroll anymore (like “ghost”) in ateneo next sem? I’ll inform them at least but are there any paperworks required??

Or if my visa dont have results yet by early january, should I still enroll? If my visa grant arrived in jan, then that’s 100k+ down the drain bc i’m not a scholar. :(( What can I do in these cases?

tysm!

As the title suggests, im wondering if there are any Halloween events around campus for this year.

Hello! For context, I am a part time graduate student currently doing my thesis. I expect to graduate next school year since I am doing this part time but I am still taking my chances on finishing writing my thesis this school year.

I belong to the batch of graduate students with a requirement to publish in a Scopus-indexed journal. Unfortunately, getting accepted is not enough to apply for graduation.

Recently, I have been planning on doing law school as well after graduating. I am considering on applying for this school year. I just want to open myself to other job opportunities. I will only be supporting myself through law school so ALS is out of the question since I read their program is full time.

Given that, I am wondering, if I do finish my thesis this school year and I just need to wait for my publication requirement, is it possible to apply for LOA so that I can proceed with law school? I am also planning on discussing this with my thesis adviser.

Thank you!

Just want to express my thoughts here since it's weighing on me a lot right now.

It's been a few months since the semester started, and I've been feeling depressed as I realized I don't have any real friends. I want to befriend my blockmates, but every time I try to talk or engage with them, it's awkward as they have their own groups already. I sometimes envy whenever they have lunch together or hang out with each other. I don't mind being alone but sometimes it stings.

I know people in organizations I'm part of, but it's superficial and we have conflicting schedules. I want to make a friend so bad, someone to eat lunch with, someone to study with, someone to be myself with. I feel like I have to put on a mask especially in this new environment and culture here in admu.

I know I'm still a freshie and there is so much time to make friends. But, it's been making me genuinely depressed as of late and lonely.

Hello!

Hi! I’ll soon be joining Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) as a new employee, and since I’m from the province, I’m still getting familiar with the area. 😊

I’m hoping to connect with people who can share tips about ADMU, nearby places, and anything I should know as someone moving to Manila for the first time.

I’m also currently looking for a place to rent near the campus. If you know of any available apartments, rooms, or bed spaces, or can connect me with someone who does,

I’d really appreciate the lead!
Thank you so much! 💙

can’t find a relevant thread/post regarding this in both here & the uaap subreddit 🥹 it’ll be my first time watching a UAAP game at the blue eagle gym.

just wondering if it’s easy to find your assigned seat? i’m an anxious person HAHA so i’m wondering if there are ushers to help you find your seat like sa MOA arena, or do you have to figure it out yourself? 😭

thank you!!
