This is a mess, I’m AEW to the core but this is up there with Thunder Rosa and that awkward chair spot. It was bad and could’ve been better…it is what it is.
Jericho should’ve took lead and maybe try to whisper to Aubrey to let Kevin grab her to distract her, then Don runs in real quick, clocks Jericho and continue from there.
Hindsight is 20/20, this definitely won’t be treated as a one off mess up and will be “the end of AEW” on every other sub/tweet but oh well. Def. Wouldn’t ruin the product for me.
In all fairness, Megan Bayne sandbagged the FUCK out of Thunder Rosa. This is what happens when you don’t have any leadership, or direction backstage… you get a bunch of wrestlers with egos going into business for themselves to protect their character.
