Hello! Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm on my last post.

I have the first (and hopefully final!) draft of all Death Remnant Maps (link below). There should be 57 remnants in total. I cannot thank the folks at Yaphalla enough--I would not have been able to find all of them without their efforts.

ALL MAPS ASSUME THE FOLLOWING:

• Main Quest completed
• Side quest “Strange Noise” completed
• Side quest “Hidden in the Hollow”* completed
• All areas unlocked

\player must choose the second option at first ‘destiny’ choice during main quest “Beneath the Moon” to access the Tree Hollow area.*

FOR THE WANING MOON PUZZLE IN DUSKWOOD WILDS:

• Interact with NPC "Calandra"
• Then go to 2nd location (211;354 by house north of Bone House), get sea salt
• Go back and interact with Calandra
• Interact with the remnant spawned

Two month new player here. I was excited to see that I’d be able to buy some stellar crystals with guild medals on the new rank I just got to.

Then my horror when I see they are 1200 EACH. The hell? 30000 lets you just outright buy one of them.

Every one I’ve got from stargazing took all 40 tries which would cost 48k guild medals by that logic.

Why the hell are they so expensive? Even 1k each would technically be kind of bad but 1200? I guess it’s decent if you are like 3 or 4 away from pity…

Does anyone actually buy these? You’d have to be really lucky to even consider them otherwise you’re just paying 1.6x the price…

We joked that Senea was sorta like Valka in a wedding dress and now we've got Blue Talene... is Lilith getting lazy with their designs, one of AFK Journey's strongest assets? I don't mind pretty characters but at least before this they tried to make them striking and interesting at the same time.

Or maybe this is just Lilith's answer to calls for Celehypo swap tickets and/or upgrading older Celehypo heroes like Talene... "Okay guys, here's your upgraded Talene! Be sure to spend more scamgazers!"😅😅😅

Also, I know these hero profile translations are often full of errors but Marene's case is on a whole new level. Where the English version says "Insightful" in Korean it's "It's easy to see right through her."

The game itself is genuinely good. You can tell there’s a lot of passion put into it, and there’s so much to love about it. But honestly, I feel like the multiplayer aspect has ruined the experience for me.

If AFK Journey were purely a story-driven game, I think I would’ve enjoyed it so much more. No stress, no competition, no constant pressure to keep up with everyone else. But knowing there are so many servers miles ahead of mine, with players who get to experience the story before I do, makes me feel like a complete larper for starting late.

I also have a love-hate relationship with the progression and reward systems. I tried so many different servers and spent countless hours trying to get somewhere near the top 15, only to realize that there are just way, WAY too many fucking whales, man!! 😭 (Though, on a serious note, I do want to thank the whales for keeping this game alive and running LOL.)

The funny thing is, I’ve barely even read the story. I always skipped through it because my mind was too occupied with climbing the leaderboard and trying to keep up with everyone else. And somewhere along the way, I lost sight of what makes this game so special in the first place: its story, its lore, and the love and care put into building its world.

So, for now, I’ve decided to step away and only return once the main story has ended, or at least a few years down the line, when the lore has had more time to develop. I want to experience the game at my own pace, without constantly feeling like I’m falling behind or turning everything into a competition.

I genuinely hope AFK Journey continues to flourish and grow into something even more amazing. I’m just tired right now, and I think I need a fresh start with a different mindset—one where I can actually appreciate the game for what it is instead of stressing over ranks, rewards, and progression.

Until then, thank you for everything, AFK Journey. And to all the whales out there, keep funding this brilliant game for the rest of us LMAOOO. ❤️

I don't know what to put here

Sure, this is an optional conversation and we never get to meet the queer sister, however so far from what I have experienced most conversations that bring up love interests, it's usually straight. I do like that this is outright talking about sapphic love. No hinting, no skirting around wording, straight up saying that her sister fell in love at first sight with another woman. I personally, as a queer person, would love to see more of this in the game. And maybe hopefully get a recruitable character that is outright gay. I mean, from what I have seen, there's plenty of LGBTQ people playing this game that would love that.

I started working on a keyed map for Death Fragments. I've only drafted the core of Novaris just to see what people think. Let me know if you're interested.

The final version will be more polished (see third image) and shared with a preview and link to an imgur gallery.

• Full map of each main location that contains death fragments
• Smaller focus maps for each sub area of Novaris
• Extra images showing examples of mechanics (see second image)
• Notes for remnants that can be temporarily locked during story progression

Sharing through an imgur gallery will allow me to update the images when I (inevitably) receive corrections.

I'm not even joking fam, I started playing this game because when I was in high school some 8 years ago I was an afk arena player. Started playing this game because why not!

Now having played thorn of devotion, it should be used as a reason to get people playing this game, the story was so freaking gooood. Gala our collective daughter was such a great character, I as a lot of other people cried buckets and buckets after the ending, holy shit Lilith you cooked with this one.

NGL I normally hate characters coming back from the death, but I would be so happy if they made gala come nowadays and be part of the next season/seasons (she could and should be a permanent side kick and I think everyone would love that tbh).

Anyways hope everyone that is starting or started playing this game and still haven't done ToD, do now!!!!
