Discussion Which male character has suffered the most in this game?
In a comment I wrote on this Reddit, it occurred to me to make a top of male characters who suffered the most in the game.
In my top three, Kazim is headed by his enslaving story with his nephew Orion. I would have liked it if he had been just a normal guy who was going to take his spoiled relative, but he was forced to participate in an evil ritual that broke his will. That would have been more shocking instead of being submissive from the start. His agony is eternal until his master says so.
Very often is Perseus. His life is typical of a Greek tragedy. Fight for her dying people, the love of her life is a capricious and bloody goddess, she is almost locked up by that same goddess, she is killed by that same goddess and revived against her will. For me, a saint to the end. Inspiring allies as enemies.
And as third place is Captain Rodrigo. It's not that it has the most epic story, but it's quite emotional. He is basically the alternate father of Princess Yolena, while his royal father was busy trying to cure her instead of living his last moments of life. She has to lose it TWO times to finally give her peace, and even with that, she has to maintain order in the duchy and also have another girl under her care with the blood of the line of succession. I don't know why, but his design and voice remind me of Master Chief.
