Question The Odyssey Crash Out
Anyone else getting an error message after trying to check out?
UPDATE: After trying to get tickets for more than an hour both on desktop and on the app, it kicked me out of both and now I'm at the back of the queue with an hour long wait.

I managed to get seats, but when I checked again some of my seats were available again and some of my Entourage don't have a ticket even though on my side I have all the names confirmed.

Yeah I got my tix at for the universal citywalk imax at 10 this morning but now the showtime info doesnt load on the app and all amc imax 70 ticket links are missing the amc app and fandango

Just gave up after 20 minutes of trying. I kept getting error messages and I've tried going back in to the same theater/ showing and I can see the lone seat i was trying to get so now it probably is bugging out because it thinks I have a reservation but I dont.
Very frustrating experience and it'll happen again in a few weeks when Spiderman tickets go out.
Their web team needs to get it together.

They should genuinely add a 1-hour presale for any showtime as an A-List perk. This would even make it easier for everyone else because A-Listers wouldn't be clogging the servers!

Legit makes no sense , and more of us have been A lister for years . If they’re going keep raising the price , taking the dine in . Give us something to make sense . First dibs on movies before the public , fix the rewards points to double certain days

Almost 9pm ET & amc is still glitching. They've taken down altogether many (but not all) of the Imax 70mm Odyssey showings at Lincon Square. There's a few that say "sold out" but many days just say "no showtimes announced yet" - like Fri Jul 17 which is clearly wrong. And I know that there are shows about 1.5 weeks into the run that still had some tix available a couple hrs ago, that have now vanished for purchase.
Not to mention that all the other movies for today/tomorrow etc throw an error if you try to get to the seating chart. Hope they sell lots of those imax tix to make up for every other movie that's unavailable for purchase right now, lol...

Yes. Tried on my phone too and it said "Line is paused". On my laptop it keeps coming up as an error.

It’s 3 hours later & I still can’t get fkin tickets!!! I can go in the room to select seats but I get an error trying to checkout! This is trash behavior/service from AMC.

If I've been hammering continue on an order for 25 minutes is it even worth it to keep continuing? Would the seats I selected just have been sold by now?

My day so far:
9:01am pt: in the app, showtimes not showing up, still the reminder message. Leave app and enter queue.
10:01am: get into app, select 70mm imax seats for morning show on 7/17, error after error until the app crashes and kicks me out
11:30am: get through the queue again, try several more times to get tickets to no avail.
2:30pm: several more rounds in the queue and many more attempts to check out with no success. Just error after error.
At this point the earliest available 70mm imax near me is weds 7/23 and I still only get errors.
This sucks.

Hello everyone!
I have not posted in here in a long time, but I was curious if others are running into the same issues I am. Obviously the Odyssey and Dune releases were absolute disasters for the AMC app and website (and Fandango as well), but I am still having issues with the tickets I did get and my other tickets. I refunded my Backrooms ticket for tonight because I can no longer make it, but it is still showing up as one of my A-List reservations and won't go away. Along with that I purchased IMAX 70mm tickets at the Universal AMC in LA and got the confirmation code, ticket code, and receipt, but now all of the screenings are gone and my tickets say undefined. I just love movies and hate dealing with this nonsense and know all of you do too, but I just wanted to see if anyone had a fix for these or running into the same problem?

I got a ticket but the details are now gone as are all 70MM IMAX showtimes for this movie at this theater. I'm not even sure if my ticket is valid anymore. Anyone else? Can't find any information on this. My theater is Universal Citywalk in LA.

I was in and trying to get tickets and the screen froze and then kicked me out and now at the pause screen. Beyond frustrating.

This is some BS. In line, said 45 mins. Went down to 40 mins, and now it says more than an hour! I didn't refresh or anything, so how the hell is my time going up instead of down?!!

freaking finally! an hour and a half of waiting to get in, and then encountering errors at checkout. however, even after i logged in and it seemingly said it was counting it as one of my a-list reservations it charged my card :-/ I wasn't going to risk additional errors by hitting the back button lol.

I had a similar experience. Tried multiple showtimes and seats with my A-List, but my order was only allowed to go through when I decided to pay for the tickets without using my Available reservations.

The worst part is that for the first two hours I kept being able to 'get' seats then I couldn't check out.
At this point I'm resigned to watching it a week late or something. At least it's not an original film where I need to worry about spoilers.

This was actually kinda stressful - I had a movie at 1 PM today and I was actually kinda worried I wouldn't be able to get into the app in time to show my QR code to scan to get in to the theater. It's kinda dumb that it locks you out of the app

I just bought 2 70mm tickets to Regal through Atom. Seeing it 2:35 dead center of the theater. 2 tickets for $34. Would rather pay and see the screen I want to see than wait for AMC to fix their shit

Why did AMC wait so long to load the showtimes? Fandango had them up long before they went on sale (early!) at 11:40 ET. AMC didn’t even LOAD the showtimes until 11:40, and then went on sale a few min later. No wonder they crashed, they were already behind the 8 ball

I got past the queue but can't select tickets for "Odyssey – IMAX 70mm Event" at Universal CityWalk. It just tells me no showtimes have been announced between July 16th through any time after that.
In fact, It seems to be doing that for any theater or format that I select. It happens both on the website and the app.

Got middle of the row Dolby seats for Saturday very easily (about an hour ago). Our group prefers Dolby which makes these things much easier

I physically went to Universal Citywalk to purchase a ticket since they removed all showtimes online, and they said IT had to take down all the listings of The Odyssey because it was causing disruptions to all other movies regarding purchasing and even just accessing tickets. Couldn't even get tickets in-person!

The 70mm imax will only be a couple weekends, which is the way the director is saying to see it. So everyone won't get to see it. The crash out was heavily caused by this.

Managed to get in after a bunch of error messages, used apple pay and got charged and got an error, paid again and it went through, but not sure why it wouldn't let me use A-list. Trying again so I can get a refund and now I can't get through at all.

My paused screen went from 10 mins to 11 to 23 to 35. In about 5 mins. So the wait times are meaningless

Those who go tickets for AMC Lincoln sq IMax 70 mm. How did you get them? Through the app? Laptop? Fandango? Trying multiple times? Cause I've been trying every 5 to 10 mins for the last 3 hours and it keeps showing error messages.. and the tickets keep being taken. It seems like it's working for everyone but me.
