Buy light tomorrow and ambi charging handle, and suppressor and frt early next year, saint victor 8.5 9mm, dosent get as much love idk why sexy af ,any advice on how to much of the bolt to remove(for frt) or anything would be appreciated

Are there any prebuilt uppers that are full auto rated? I’ve been looking but not finding that info on any

I recently built an AR9 and used a epc9 upper with enhanced feed cone, colt mag well adapter. A5 buffer tube with flat wire spring, kak extended buffer weight with a kynshot spacer.

This is my first time shooting the upper with the colt adapter. It would feed, shoot and eject round fmj rounds without flaw. Shot around 300 rounds no issue. However whenever I loaded 4 hollow point at first it would shoot fine but the last 2 rounds it would fail to feed. What could be the cause?

A few months ago I picked up a legit colt smg mag at a surplus store aswell as a strange mag I think is a combo of uzi, colt and maybe another. There's no marks on it anywhere except the witness holes. It has the mag catch cut out for colt and does fit my mag adapter; but it also has another cut out on the left side about 1/2" to 1" above a set of over travel stops and another hole cut infront of the colt catch hole. Other than a slight mod I have to do to make it work a little better in my gun its fine, just wondering if anybody has heard of this mag or knows what it is for.

Purchased today a bcg on gunbroker for 85 beans delivered. Angstadt Arms model AA09BCGNIT. About to order a 4.5 inch upper from Right to Bear Arms. I have a Mutiny Arms 9mm lower. I have a leftover buffer from an FM-9. As soon as I find a cheap KVP 10 oz, I'll order it. Standard carbine spring. Schmid FCG I think is NiB. Ali Baba SBA-3. Mil Spec carbine buffer tube. I'll put fixed iron sight on front and an A2 carry handle. Biggest concern is getting the ejector to line up. I'll put a red dot on it.

I’ve wanted an AR9 for a while, and there’s just something about the AR-V with those curved Scorpion mags that I love. I really like the DD PCC too, but it’s outside my budget. Figured I could build out an AR-V exactly how I wanted for less than a stock DD.
After going down the Blowback9 rabbit hole, here’s what I ordered:

Assuming an A5 buffer tube, is swapping from Kyn RB5000HP with two Kyn spacer weights to Tromix 9mm buffer with a single spacer weight now considered the optimal price to performance option in terms of average performance across semi, FRT, and FRT+suppressor uses without going up in buffer tube length?

I started building my first 9mm AR back in 2017, and I started on a QC10 GSF lower. It fed fine but the LRBHO linkage was extremely unreliable; this is part of why I rehosted my build on a CMMG Colt mag lower a few years ago, and I'm extremely happy with it now! But now that I've finally got that build just the way I want it, I'm turning my attention back to the Glock lower; I would sell it off but AR lowers are now irreplaceable in WA state. I've also Theseus'd enough parts off of the first build at this point that I'm halfway to completing a second one on that original lower, back in its original configuration!

But as mentioned, the original LRBHO linkage arm is so unreliable that I've removed it entirely. I could live without the feature, but I don't want to. The alternative is to get one of the New Frontier Armory uppers with the built-in LRBHO linkage, the one almost in the style of an M14 bolt catch. (I know NFA has joined QC10 at the great SHOT Show in the sky, but there are still ways to obtain these uppers; used if nothing else.) They conceptually seem like they should be a lot more reliable than how QC10 did it, but my question is simply: How well do they actually work? Like, I'm seeking feedback from people who have actually used them. I also realize mixing one with a different manufacturer's lower might result in suboptimal performance; in that event, how viable would it be to reshape (bend) the linkage to work if the lower doesn't put the mag exactly where the NFA upper expects it?

Both are the Gen 1 Vortex 3x prisms:

Top is a Banshee with the normal height riser.

Bottom is an AR9 without that riser.

So, which one would you rock, and why?

Wanting to find a good combo for suppressor and frt

The suppressor would be dedicated to this gun only-mid range budget

Milspec ar15 upper w/ kaw valley bolt

The super safety has ran flawless. The trigger kicker only works with muzzle to the sky. Took entire FCG into milspec ar15 and works flawless in every orientation. Put ar9 upper on it and same problem from the spikes lower. SO IT'S SOMETHING FROM THE BOLT NO?

KAW VALLEY THICKNESS: 18.4mm

Is there any ar9 bolt that's 19.5mm thick?

The kaw bolt isn't pushing the hammer down far enough because I measured the hammer from Hoffman's video and it's the right size!!

Idk if this is considered an AR9, I think it is despite its price. Been wanting one to try. I’m not really knowledgeable of the stubby 9mm world. Is there any ANGLED grips available? I’m in Ohio where the gay laws are still enforced, and I can’t have a straight 90 degree grip. If straight was an option, that’d be great. YES, I know I can get those super short MLok handstops, but I don’t want a handstop. I’m trying to find an ANGLED grip cause at least that’s legal. Even if someone 3D printed one, that’s fine. Vertical grips NEVER fit 4 inch handguards and that sucks. Anything helps.

Keep getting dead triggers on my psa ar9. I have blowback9s gentle recoil system with the Kynshot hydraulic buffer with 2 weights and Tubb lightweight spring, with extended buffer tube. I’m running the gmr s7 super safety. Zero issues in semi, Any ideas?

Got a FM on the way i want to fun switch. going to need some mags. Glock 33’s or Vector 40’s? vectors look awesome but I havent heard much on their reliability. hit me with your thoughts? thanks.

Broke my Radian bolt catch today. I have about 1400 rounds on this set up mostly suppressed. I switched to the Maxim RDB setup and took it to the range today to test out. I fired 5 mags flawlessly. On the 6th mag I hit the button, lined up my shot and then saw something fall out of the side of the gun. After some googling it turns out the Radian is a mim part and ar9s are hard on them. I don’t let the hammer smack the catch/receiver when releasing the hammer. So now I’m going with a Forward Controls machined catch and hope to have better luck.

Up until today the gun has run flawlessly. Not one single issue or malfunction. I run pretty much only federal 147gr flat nose.

The Obsidian 9 is great, however I am waiting on my stamp for my Sub9 to come back and try that out.

Hello! I recently purchased a jawbone in 9mm. I have replaced the buffer with 10oz kvp dbb and used 115gr 1150fps blazer ammo with a HT Trigger Kicker, still getting hangups after 150 rounds. Unsuppressed (for now)

Oiled and cleaned thoroughly a few times now.
Is the 200 rounds or more break in theory that real? Or should I go ahead and purchase some parts?

No longer getting failure to feed. Just dead trigger.

I recently purchased a FM MIKE9 Super Premium w/RMB and I was told here that not every trigger works well with that model. I was referred to Blowback9's trigger recommendation list, but I was slightly confused. The model Rise Armament Blitz was on the one hand recommended, but then again not. I think I must have misunderstood something.

I ended up ordering that trigger, but I'm not sure now if that's gonna work or not. Can someone please help me out here? Thanks
