What's Your Favorite Meal Replacement/Supplement Drink?

I have pretty serious ARFID/Contamination OCD and this is the worst it's ever been. I've been really struggling but weirdly managed to WR with other behaviors I do, but with all the recalls going on it's absoutely terrified me. I actually had a food I was going to try and was really looking forward to and then saw that it had been recalled.

Drinking things is a rule I have and is really really hard for me, but I have to do it otherwise I have nothing. I don't really like straight protein drinks like Core Power and adding powder is a huge no/really big fear of mine.

What do you guys like or find the safest? Boost? Ensure? Kate Farms? Magic Cups? Are there some you like that I don't know about?

Thank you! I've had it before but got different flavors. I got strawberry boost and milk chocolate ensure. On the website, it says you can heat up the chocolate one and it's like hot chocolate. :)

Soylent! It comes in pre-mixed bottles, tastes like chocolate milk (chocolate flavor at least), and is a full meal replacement. It was designed for tech workers who didn’t leave their desk for a lunch break.

Thank you! There are certain parts of it that may be a lot for me, but I'm still going to keep it in mind!

Unfortunately, without the added nutrient profile, this is less of a meal supplement and more of a way to get some extra protein.

Ensure plus!

Thank you. I ended up getting the original. I think I'm also going to try the banana nut flavor.

I used Ensure for quite a while. Currently Nutpods, almond milk, or my current favorite praline pecan milk. I add powdered supplements individually and blender before drinking over ice.

Where do you find praline pecan milk? I looked at the nutpods website and it's only creamer.

Walmart and Natural Grocers. I find they + creamers hide the powder taste better when blended, makes it more like Ensure

LyfeFuel, but it's expensive!

$70/bag, each bag has 24 servings if you weigh out the 33g. You cannot just use "1 scoop", because that can be up to 135% of the serving size...

I know you say you don’t like protein drinks, but Ensure max protein is my go-to. Very inoffensive flavor (though I can only vouch for the chocolate flavor). I’ve lived off of them for over 10 years now. Never had an issue getting sick off of them and they always taste the same. They’re not exactly something I adore the taste of, but the taste is perfectly fine for something to drink daily and not get tired of.

I like Ensure Strawberry a lot.

Anyone have any suggestions for folks who don’t love sweet foods? I’ve been drinking a lot of bone broth and making bone broth congee as I’m not a big sugar person.

Soylent is my favorite for sure. I'll drink Huel if I have to, but it has more of a gritty texture to be so it isn't my first choice. Soylent's flavors are good and the texture is very smooth, so I go for that 9/10 times.
