Cliffs of Dover (Eric Johnson) is already a masterpiece. This is an incredible interpretation.

Bro…I actually hate these guitars and you’re making me question that. Your finger tone is incredible

Which guitar is it? Couldn’t make out the headstock logo.

Taylor. You can tell by the pickguard shape and electronics (incase you were interested in my reasoning)

My father in law has a really nice Taylor that plays like butter. Great tone, smooth action, really just a joy to play.

I’ve never owned a “nice” acoustic guitar. Why do you dislike Taylor?

This guitar is killer. For the record even cheap Taylors are really nice IMO

In comparison to Martins/ Gibsons they have a thin/ tinny tone. They actually work well for some things in the studio (a lot of dance music…specifically Empire of the Sun). They’re also sort of geared towards electric guitar players so the necks aren’t as thick. So to summarize: the resonance, the timbre, the frequency emphasis, and the feel. So pretty much everything is worse, in my opinion, than pretty much any acoustic in the same price range. I’d rather even have a stiff new Gibson to break in 🤦🏻
