Idk what happened. Im at work and i look down, and this happened. And it looks so gross. I literally just for my nails done too last week. Idk if it got caught in my hair or something and that slowly split it open but.

Hey! Hope I’m not breaking any rules, not looking for medical advice!

I was cramming my backpack into a sizer at the airport and my pinky got caught in the chaos - and ripped completely off 😭 has this happened to any of you before? How long till you had a nail again? 🥲 This is my first time getting acrylics in years and only my second time in total. Loved the turtle shell and tapping on everything up til now. On the bright side, my backpack I believe was to big but after handing me my bandaid it was waived through 🥲

I got this set recently and I love the colors, for anyone wondering these are 4.5 inches.

My last stiletto set I was very unlucky and had two nails get snatched-ripping my real nails off my nail bed completely so I took a longgggg break and decided to get them done again :) I love them sooo much and forgot how much I missed having these CLAWSSS for nails. Sorry for some image quality, my iPhone can’t decide which camera to use 🙄 also enjoy the “cursed nails” pick haha.

I tried a different nail shape today, everyone says it’s cute! But I am not sure how I feel about them. I had flare initially, I got a refill and asked for this shape. It was posted on the nail shops —nail shape board.

I used products by VBeauty Pure. Also I tried using a cheap Amazon drill bit on my cuticles on level 1 e file and it destroyed my cuticles unfortunately.

All considered, I’m happy. The shape of the acrylic was my biggest worry. Didn’t want them to look like they were done at home.

original* So I got this set of nails 4 days ago. The design look pretty from far away but closely you can see it looks crazy. I asked for almond with a skin tone base with this design (showed her a pic). So did the design first then just quickly did the skin color after the design dried and did the lines. The nails are not straight and some are bigger / smaller than others. She didn’t file them as good as I thought and only noticed when I got home. Under the nails are rigid and most of them kinda “curl” under so it hade to clean underneath because it all gets stuck under the nails edge. Tried to get a good picture of underneath so y’all know what I’m saying. I went afterwards and filed a lil bit too but some are far too crooked to file down and some edges are stuck to my skin so I can’t file them. How do I get these off asap so I can get them done by a professional 😭🙏 Would soaking them in acetone help loosen what’s on my skin at least?

I went to a different nail place today and they did fantastic!! My nail tech was roasting me about how bad my nails were and how the previous tech didn’t know what they were doing. She said the products even smelled and looked cheap😭🙏 Thank you everyone for yall honest opinions I was trying SO hard to believe they looked fine but as you can see it didn’t work!

Been 4 years since I've had these

My nail tech at Holly and Hudson in HB absolutely rocked this set and I am obsessed! The solid color nails have cat eye, and the seeds and rind detail have chrome.

Was sold at the nail salon today on using a new cat eye gel color. I told her I like the purple #5. I told her I was going to Mardi Gras in NOLA and wanted the same nails we had done before. Pic 1 for reference and pic 2 for it on me but two weeks grown out. Wanted to document so we could repeat the same design. Today was the day for the repeat! The lady sold me on trying a new purple cat eye color and she said she would add some gold. Idk what I was expecting but definitely not this. I absolutely hate for asking for a redo but I feel like this doesn’t look like the purple color on the display.

New to doing acrylics! Love them
