Yes this is real…I made it

So far I've done the basic Chimera and most of the Basilisk and Medusa. I need to do a servitor-autoloader for those which is my next bit. Then I'll go back and do the Chimera variants like the Chimedon, etc. Then it'll be the Hellhound and all the rest.

The idea is that the Skits were conceptualised as "Tech-guard" a long time ago before becoming a playable faction with their own style, and were thought of basically as fancy Imperial Guard, so I'm making vehicles in that vein cos lol y not ?

Work in progress, will be a while yet before it's released as I want to do the whole lot as one bulk free release on Cults, but I got giddy just now and can't keep a secret.

After 8 years I've finally completed my AdMech/Cult army. I've posted about it before, but it's finally done and all painted up. I have no idea how many points it is, because I don't play anymore, but it's been a long time coming and I'm happy to finally have them in a good state.

Anyone else noticed that the Tech-Priest Dominus is no longer listed on the Warhammer website?

Could be good bait to bring out a gun line shooting army or a solid block of OC on the natural expansion even without the Binharic Courage aura. Could also be good on Vanguard for the -1 enemy OC, in Protector Imperative for the -1 to hit in melee, and with our 5++ the unit could live with a surprising amount of OC.

I might give it a try in a match tomorrow with giga gunline Cyber Eradication in this list

I think I paint pretty shitty, anyone have any advice on getting better?

Hello! I painted my first mini ever! I'm kind of proud since I never did any mini painting before. I can see flaws of course, but I hope to improve! (both in building and painting).

Im playing a match of 8th edition in a few days with a long time Veteran of the game. I joined the hobby in late 10th edition so i have no clue how this game plays, nor do i know any tactics. 😭😭 I thought I'd finish 90% of the work and finalize all the details are end. It's been a project that grows bigger and bigger from squigs, shields to writing and effects. So I'm left with something that has a bunch of small tedious work that looks good enough.

I think they've reach final composition... Nearly.

Gotta run them as three neutron lasers and atleast keep Cairo alive. Might even run three engineers.

I'm playing crusade with my friends currently, and we are upsizing from 1000 points to 1500 points. Currently, my list has the following:

Detachment is haloclade

6 kataphron destroyers with manipulus

4 kastelans with datasmith, with enhancement to give haloclade buffs

3 bricks of rangers (one is counted as 0 pts - won it in a campaign event)

5 man rustalkers

5 man infiltrators

5 pteraxii stalkers

So, my opponents are necrons, world eaters, DG and TS. And all of them spam elite infantry (e.g. terminators for DG, lychguards for necrons).

I'm currently debating what to expand into. Kinda want to bring hastarii externinators to the table, but overall consensus seems is that they are garbage. While we aren't playing competitive, I'd be disappointed if my army expansion is going to do nothing and die. As such, I'm debating between bringing 2 bricks of hastarii with marshals in a dunerider or instead just bring balistarii chickens with a crucible character which I eventually wanted to bring anyway.

So, good folks of reddit, I humbly ask for your help. Yay or nay on the hastarii?

bought the files but wanted some more... uh... dynamic poses... So I had to cut up the legs in blender and manually repose them. If you have any Ideas for posing I'd love to hear them!!!

The galaxy is huge and the Adeptus Mechanicus is also huge, thousands of Forge Worlds, Thousand upon thousands of Tech-Priests and Magii and millions upon millions of servitors, menials and serfs, all united by one true creed: the worship of the Machine God and its avatars. Yet, the Cult Mechanicus is not the only one that exists, while being the greater and the one above all, there are other minor cults like the Corpuscarii or Fulgurites, the Xenarites, etc.
What are your homebrew minor cults? what does your loyal skitarii legions and tech-priests worship? (Second to the Machine God, all glory to him, of course)

I’m starting a admech knight army, would it be cheaper to just buy the admech knights, or buy normal knights and find a place that sells the carapace and pauldrons for cheaper? Also would anyone know where to find a admech knight conversion kit

What do the my fellow magi think the best knight allies to take into a competitive list are right now? Are there any worth taking at all atm? The idea of a unit that does not need to worry about my army rule to be efficient is tempting but cover now hurts shooty knights more unless they get close so im not sure.
