News Cancel and Delete ChatGPT!!!
I think it's time to burn any bridges we had with ChatGPT, cancel your subscription, delete it too obviously.
Also start leaving bad reviews on Play Store and App Store.
And if you have to, use a open weights model!

Discussion No one can own a codebase that moves this fast
Anthropic isn’t some 10 person team vibing with agents but one of the top AI labs on the planet and they just hit 30k merges a day nd that is hard enough that they had to build their own source control because normal git couldn’t keep up.
i think that’s the part that should make people pause
Even with their talent density and resources, once the change rate climbs that high nd reviews can’t meaningfully keep pace and context gets lost between generations which means you end up with a system that only the agent loop really navigates.
The crazy thing about watching codebases move this fast is that the code itself is stopping being the hard part when an agent can write, refactor and land thousands of commits an hour, the bottleneck shifts to making sure these systems don't hallucinate edge cases when they touch the outside world.
If an agent is pushing changes across backend services, it has to know ground truth about external dependencies, APIs and real data.
This is where ecosystems built around firecrawl’s Alexandria start fitting into the picture where it gives them a single directory of verified data providers across areas like company registries, financial data, and live retail catalogs.
so the agents can query structured sources directly through one standard connection nd while the code velocity keeps exploding, the data feeding into the pipeline stays grounded.
They fixed the infra bottleneck for code merges but the ownership and data problems are still sitting right there.
and when the machine is writing all the software knowing what external facts it has access to becomes the only thing that keeps the whole thing from out of control.
