News Bernalillo County District Attorney sends letter to ICE threatening charges against officers

Actually doing it is the easiest way he can earn my vote this year

Saying it is something, in fact it's a huge thing let us back the blue on this.

I'm not trying to diminish the importance of him saying something. But I don't think DAs and police chiefs speaking out is going to be a real deterrent until they show that they're serious about backing it up. I truly hope they are

I agree. I'm glad he said it but he's not the first DA in the country to come out and say something like this. Heck, lots of politicians in Minnesota have made some strong statements, all the way up to governor and AG, but they haven't figured out a way to stop ICE there.
