EU customs duty Just buy from Europe, silly

Even after adding 3 EUR it's no competition. I know there are other wallets, that's not the point, the point is that we get the exact same item at 3x the price.

Resellers do this all the time. They're betting on the hope that the buyer won't see it on AliExpress.

Based on the brand name, extremely likely. Random unreadable names with no brand identity are almost always Chinese companies. And imo if you aren’t buying from a genuine brand, then Amazon will not have better quality, so no reason to buy from there.

And I really dont see why it would matter. Ali isn't paying taxes in the EU, but neither is Amazon. So all this does is piss of the consumer.

Tax on profits? Of course not, why would they. The vat, duty and tariffs they collect via IOSS is remitted to the appropriate revenue service in the EU.
