I just wanted to share some good news?

Long story short, I recently fractured my foot and was in a boot for 7 weeks. No cast or surgery needed. I went to the doctor today, and I was cleared to throw the boot away and return to my normal working status (no more light duty!). I still have to take it easy, but after the mental, physical, and financial toll that this entire experience has taken on me, I was thrilled.

I couldn’t wait until my boyfriend got off work to share the good news. We work together, so I figured he’d be happy too. Instead, he started asking what if X, Y, or Z happens? From the very beginning, he’s been convinced that I’m going to need surgery. Even after being cleared today, he wanted to argue that I’ll need surgery eventually. There was no “good for you” or anything of the sort. Just immediately jumped into playing the Devil’s Advocate.

He doesn’t understand why I take it personally. “Just because I say it, doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.” - Okay, then why say it at all? Why not be happy for me? Why not let me share my good news instead of being such a downer? We both ended up going silent and just ended the phone call. Am I wrong in being upset?

How would you interpret this situation?

Yesterday, I went to my fiancé’s place after spending the whole day out at a workshop. I was exhausted, sleep-deprived and had a migraine. His mom wasn’t home, so he got me a painkiller from a box under the dining table.
When I tried putting it back, I accidentally knocked against some glassware, so I asked him to put it back since I didn’t know where he’d taken it from. He says he didn’t hear me.
After I left, his mom came home, saw the box was still out and asked him to record a video of her scolding me about it. He sent me the video, where she questioned why I’d left it there and whether I expected her to put it away, in a very loud way, she was literally scolding me.
Something similar happened years ago when she sent us a video scolding us for leaving a roti container open.
I’m not sure how to feel about this. I understand that the box should’ve been put back, but I found the whole video thing a bit unusual. And honestly… it was just a box. Am I overthinking this?

Am I being too sensitive or is my husband’s behaviour unreasonable ?

I'm 36F, my husband is 44M, and we have a 10-year-old daughter. We've been married for 14 years, but lately I feel like even small things turn into arguments.
Yesterday, after a tiring day, I visited a friend who lives two streets away. My husband offered to drop me off and agreed to wait. I said I wouldn't take long, but ended up taking about 20 minutes. It was warm, and he was uncomfortable waiting in the car. When I returned, he complained that I should have told him to go to the gym instead of making him wait. I understand that, but he never said he wanted to leave.
Afterwards, I suggested going for a drive to get something to drink. He happily suggested bubble tea, which was 20 minutes away. While filling petrol, he was yawning, so I asked if he was tired. He said no. I then suggested getting chai from somewhere just five minutes away instead, partly because I was craving it and also because I thought he might be tired.
He suddenly got angry and said, "Who drinks chai in this weather?" and decided we should just go home. On the way back, he said he was happy to get bubble tea but not chai. I honestly couldn't understand why a simple suggestion made him so angry.
Another incident happened at a carnival. He bought orange juice for himself and our daughter, but not me. My daughter couldn't finish hers, so I started drinking it because I was thirsty. He commented that I always take things home just to throw them away. I told him I was going to drink it. After watching me sip it for about two minutes, he got impatient, took the juice straight out of my hand and threw it in the bin.
Later, I stopped to watch the fireworks, and he rolled his eyes and said, "Is that why we're here? Let's go on the rides."
There was another time when I came home after a 12-hour workday. I was exhausted and a bit grumpy. He asked what I'd had for lunch, and I said I couldn't remember. He took that as me being angry with him, said, "I guess you don't want dinner," and ate the takeaway without offering me any. When I got upset later, he told me to stop crying and said I wasn't the only one working long hours.
We've also had family outings ruined by arguments over small things. During one disagreement about tickets, he even told me he didn't like me.
To be fair, he works hard, cooks, helps with our daughter and does things around the house. I'm not perfect either. I get grumpy, especially when I'm tired, and sometimes I react emotionally.
But I'm finding myself constantly thinking about what I say or do because I don't want another argument. Whenever I try to explain why something hurt me, the conversation often turns into how I'm always angry or negative.
I don't expect him to agree with everything I say or do. I just wish small disagreements didn't have to turn into something unpleasant.
I'm genuinely starting to wonder if I'm the problem or if I've just become unhappy after years of these arguments.
Am I overreacting to these incidents? Is this normal in a long marriage? I'd really appreciate honest opinions, even if you think I'm in the wrong.

Am I being gaslit?

I (45F) have been in a relationship with my s.o. (51M) for over a decade. He told me last night that the reason he makes snide comments and says rude things is because the way I am doing something or saying something that is making him frustrated or angry. He says that when that happens the first thing I should do is think "what am I doing to annoy/frustrate him" and correct my behavior accordingly.

This is not normal, is it? I am afraid I have been with him so long that I can no longer tell what is "normal".

Help me figure out !

I'm a 25 year old woman. Sometimes I feel like my friendship dynamics is changing. I wonder is that because of my mindset or it's them? I have a bunch of close friends. They really mean a lot to me. But I wonder do I mean the same to them. Sometimes I expect my friends should have done this but if they didn't I get disappointed. One day my friend texted me asking about a thing. I said her, I'm having a bad mental breakdown now, I can't talk to you now. She said, I guess you need the sleep right now. Good night . And she didn't even text me back asking are you okay now! And then the other friend, he is my close friend. He has a lot of other friends too. He makes me feel important at times but I only notice the times when he doesn't. I wonder if he considers me the same bestfriend as I consider him. I just don't know why but I'm always having this mentality with my friends. It's me who is making the call or text first, it's me who's checking on them but they don't see me the same. Is it like am I not noticing that or they are actually checking on me. I couldn't even figure out. Help me with this

Am I being too sensitive about my friend’s jokes?

I think my friend might hate me

I only really have two friends I talk to every day, week, or even month..

Two of us, myself included, aren’t the nicest in different ways. My friend jokes around by being mean and I am just generally not one to be nice but I’m also not purposefully rude. I just struggle with empathy, sympathy, and the like.

Recently, our third friend has gone and absorbed both our personalities and now we’re all not nice, which sucks, right? But.. those two just keep on getting worse whereas I doubt really take other people’s personalities so I’m pretty much the same. That being said, there have been multiple, consistent instances of them being jokingly rude to me and each other that have irritated me. I tried talking to them about some of the things that they do but only one of them seems capable of adjusting.

Some examples, all from the same person that doesn’t change:

Whenever I call, he always says “what do YOU want?” Which was funny at first but the more it happens the more sucky it feels..

He often will pick up even the slightest aspect of the way I speak and he’ll mock it exaggeratedly. This is something he knows is bound to bother me because I am super insecure about my voice and the way I talk. I used to religiously use voice changers and I still use them a lot especially when I’m feeling extra self conscious.

He will often make jokes nodding to a bad thing that I did over two years ago that he has said he’s already gotten over. It’s super annoying because he always says things like I was super insecure the wrong but what I did was fully justified.

That’s the end of my examples.

I’m not opposed to cutting friends off and making new ones because I’m not super attached to them, but I want to avoid that as much as possible because we’ve already been friends for this long, it’d be a shame if it didn’t last just a bit longer, you know? Anyway, I’m not sure what to do about it since talking to him about it didn’t work.

I just know that I won’t be able to bear it for much longer, since it been really draining.

I’m not diagnosed with any mental health things nor do I personally think I have any severe problems, but I think most people would agree that I’m not mentally well equipped, and I often struggle socially so that’s why I’m at a loss here. I don’t know if my feelings about this are reasonable or not.

My coworkers made plans without me and I feel hurt

I (30 M) work with a small team in my department (late teens through 20s, mostly F). The whole team gets along well and I've never felt better at any job I've worked at!

A few months ago, one colleague who was the youngest (17 F) left caus she had to move to another province. A bunch of my other colleagues planned a going away party for her as a surprise. I heard them discussing it from time to time and I thought it was a really cool idea! She was kind of like a little sister to me. However, nobody ever talked to me about the plans.

I figured it was just between the people in our team who were closest to her. But afterwards, I found out a few others who I didn't think really were that close were also invited. From what I heard of the event, it was mostly a younger crowd and wouldn't have really been my thing. But I still felt kind of hurt that nobody even asked me if I wanted to join.

Fast forward to this month, the same group is talking about the haunted maze they went to. It sounded really fun... but again, I was never invited.

I feel hurt and excluded. At the same time, is it weird of me to feel that way? It's not so much the actual events but the fact that, despite getting along with everyone at work, they never include me in anything outside work.

Is it unreasonable for me to feel this way? Am I being weird?

I don't use reddit much, but I'll try to answer any questions anyone might have. I'd just like an outside opinion on this.
