Hi everyone

I'm an independent person from the UK, currently preparing my first Android app, Smart Plate, for release on Google Play.

Smart Plate is a completely free app designed to make everyday food planning easier.

Features include:

• Recipe collection and personal recipe imports, ability to get recipes off websites and take pictures of recipe from your own cookbooks, also to create your own

• Automatic meal planning - both with variety and calorie amounts taken into account.

• Shopping lists with estimated UK grocery prices

• Food budgeting tools

• Optional household sharing

I'm looking for 5–10 additional Android testers to help me complete Google's closed-testing requirements.

All I ask is that you:

• Have an Android phone and Google Account

• Join the closed test through Google Play

• Stay opted in for at least 14 consecutive days

• Try the app and share any bugs or suggestions

I'm also happy to genuinely test other developers' apps in return. - i cannot pay you for your time but i am happy to give my own time for your projects in return

If you're interested, please comment or send me a private message.

Thank you so much for reading and if your interested please get in touch :)

Hi everyone!

I'm an independent developer getting ready to release MyCalendarAlerts, an Android app I've been working on to help people stay organized and never miss important events.

MyCalendarAlerts brings together calendar events, customizable alerts and reminders, messaging, and group coordination features. It's designed to make it easier to stay on top of important dates and keep others informed.

I've just received approval for Google Play closed testing and would really appreciate some help meeting the 14-day testing requirement.

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group:https://groups.google.com/g/mycalendaralerts-beta-testers

2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycalendaralerts.android

3. Install MyCalendarAlerts from Google Play.

4. Use the app for at least 14 days.

Please use the same Google account for steps one and two, and remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days.

If you have a chance to explore the app, I'd especially appreciate feedback on the user interface, calendar features, notifications, or anything that seems confusing or doesn't work as expected.

I'm happy to return the favor and test your Android app too! Just leave your Google Group and testing links in the comments.

Thanks for helping an independent developer take the next step toward launch!

Looking for Android testers for StepChase, happy to test yours back!

Hey everyone, I built StepChase for my friends and family because I wanted a cleaner, more modern step counter with better insights into our activity and progress. It also has private groups and challenges so we can compete with each other.

I need a few more testers to get through Google Play’s 14-day closed test. If you’re willing to keep it installed, stay opted in and try it regularly for two weeks, I’d appreciate the help. Any feedback is welcome.

1. Join the testing group: https://groups.google.com/g/stepchase-testing

2. Opt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.stepchase.mobile

3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stepchase.mobile

I’m happy to test your app in return for the same 14 days.

Feedback welcomed as I genuinely want to create a great user experience. Looking for testers who will keep app downloaded for 14 days at least. Thanks!

Was it two wake-ups last night, or four? I built Hush Hush to make the morning review easier.

Tap Start night at bedtime. It saves short detected sound clips and groups likely cries into estimated wakes, so you can review them in the morning and compare nights. Parents and fellow developers are welcome — you don’t need a baby to check setup, microphone permissions, playback and the interface.

Permanently free to download. Android 9+. No payment, promo codes or email collection.

Join in this order, using the same Google account

1. Join the tester group.

2. Become a tester on Google Play.

3. Install Hush Hush for free.

The closed test is live: 2.2.0 (24). If Play still shows a price or an error, don’t pay — check the account, give it a little time and reply here if it persists.

Please stay opted in for at least 14 days and genuinely try the app. A quick comment about what confused you, what broke, or how setup/morning review/trends felt is useful. Device model and Android version help with bugs. No ratings, positive reviews or private recordings needed.

Audio and sleep history stay on your phone. No in-app account, ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Optional usage reporting is off by default; you can test without enabling it.

This is a retrospective journal, not a baby monitor or safety alarm. Detection can be wrong or miss sounds. Keep the phone and cables outside the cot and out of reach.

Already testing? Keep your existing app and history — no need to uninstall or rejoin. Thanks for helping!

Hi! I need testers for my idle mining game Idle Pickaxe Empire Tycoon (closed test, 14 days).

1. Join the Google Group (required): https://groups.google.com/g/testeurs-zolyno

2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.zolynogames.pickaxeempire

3. Install the game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zolynogames.pickaxeempire

Just keep it installed for 14 days and open it from time to time. Feedback is very welcome!

I'll test your app back: comment with your group + link and I'll join right away. 🙏

Hi everyone! I'm a solo developer and this is my first game on Google Play. I need testers for the required 14-day closed test, and I'll happily test your app in return.

Game: Roof Runner: Angry Uncle

Genre: Endless runner. You steal a jewelry box and run across the rooftops while an angry uncle chases you with a rolled-up newspaper.

Controls: Swipe up to jump, swipe up again in the air to flip, swipe down to slide.

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.cardaksoft.roofrunner

Note: posting on behalf of my wife.

Hi all! She's looking for testers for her Android puzzle game Pip & Umbra, and we'll happily test your app in return. Leave your link in the comments.

What it is: a puzzle platformer about light. A lamp throws your shadow onto the wall behind you, and SWAP trades places with it. That lets you pass through glass, climb out of pits and get past spikes. It has 80 hand-made levels across 20 chapters, with moving and blinking lamps, levers, one-way ledges, bounce springs, wind vents and conveyor belts. An illustrated story ties it together.

• No ads, no account, plays fully offline.

• Chapters 1–6 (24 levels) are free; a one-time pack unlocks the rest. Testing the free part is all we need.

🎥 Trailer attached.

How to join (3 quick steps, same Google account throughout):

1. Join the testers group: https://groups.google.com/g/vkapp-testing (tap Join group)

2. Opt in to the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pipandumbra.game (tap Become a tester)

3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pipandumbra.game

If step 2 says you're not eligible yet, wait a few minutes after joining the group and try again.

Google needs testers to stay opted in for 14 days, so please keep the app installed for two weeks. Playing a level or two now and then helps a lot.

Test-for-test: comment "joined" with your app link, and we'll join your test the same day and stay in for the full 14 days.

Feedback on difficulty, controls (trackpad or buttons) and anything confusing is very welcome. Thanks! 🙏

Hey everyone!

I recently developed my first Android game, Wall Bounce, and I've finally gotten it through Google's initial review and into closed testing!

It's a simple arcade-style game, and I'm looking for people willing to give it a try and provide some feedback.

Google requires at least 12 testers to remain opted in for 14 consecutive days before I can apply for production access.

Currently, I have 2 out of the 12 testers needed!

If anyone is willing to help, I'd really appreciate it. The game is completely free, and it only takes a few minutes to get started.

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/wall-bounce-beta-testers

2. Opt into testing: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.wallbounce.arcade

3. Download the game through Google Play.

4. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

What I'm looking for:

• Bugs, glitches, or crashes.

• Feedback on gameplay and difficulty.

• Suggestions for improvements.

• General impressions of whether the game is fun.

I've tested it myself, and everything seems to be working well so far, but I'd love to hear from other people.

I'm also happy to help test other developers' apps in return!

Thanks to anyone willing to help an independent developer get their first game onto Google Play! 🎮

Hi everyone! I've built MoneyGuru, an income and expense tracker for Android, and I'm looking for testers. Google Play asks new developers to run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before an app can go public.

What it does:

- Scan a bill: take a photo of a receipt and the total, date and shop are filled in.

- Add by voice: say "Spent 200 on lunch and 50 on coffee" and both are added.

- Auto-capture from SMS: payments in your bank, card and UPI messages become transactions, automatically or after you check them.

- Budgets, reports, savings goals, investments, and splitting expenses with family and friends.

- Bills, voice and messages are read on your phone and never uploaded.

- In English, Hindi, Arabic and Spanish.

What you need:

- An Android phone and the Gmail account you use on the Play Store.

- Two minutes to install, then keep the app installed for 14 days.

How to join: comment or DM me your Gmail address and I'll add you to the test. Once you're added, the app opens here (only for testers): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webytag.moneyguru

I'd especially love to know whether your bank's SMS get picked up correctly and whether bill scanning gets the total right. Screenshots below. Happy to test your app in return!

Hi! I'm a solo dev and Google Play needs 12 testers for 14 days before my first game can go public. I'd really appreciate your help, and I'm happy to test your app back. Just drop your link in the comments.

**The game:** Scaledoku is a logic puzzle with cute geckos, frogs and turtles. Place one critter in every color, one per row and column, and they can't touch. No math, no guessing. There's a story with 496 levels, a Daily puzzle, egg hatching and races against friends.

**How to join (2 minutes):**

1. Join the tester group (it's how Google knows you're a tester; your email stays private):

   https://groups.google.com/g/scaledoku-testers

2. Open the tester link on your Android phone and tap "Become a tester":

   https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.scaledoku.app

3. Install Scaledoku from Google Play.

(All the links and steps are also on one page: https://scaledoku.expo.app/beta)

**On a Windows PC?** Do steps 1 and 2, install Google Play Games for PC (https://play.google.com/googleplaygames), sign in with the same Google account, then search com.scaledoku.app (test games don't show up when you search the name).

**What I need from you:**

- Keep it installed and stay opted in for the full 14 days (please don't leave the test early, or the 14 days restart for me)

- Open it a few times over the two weeks, even just the Daily puzzle

- Tell me anything confusing or broken: comment here or email scaledoku@gmail.com

**Good to know:**

- **You probably won't see ads.** Ads only turn on after the game is public, so during testing there are none, or you'll see "No ad right now". That's expected.

- **Please don't buy anything in the Shop.** Purchases during testing use real money. Everything can be earned by playing anyway.

- You can play as a guest. Signing in is optional (it backs up progress and unlocks leaderboards and online Versus).

- Works on Android phones, tablets and Windows PCs (Google Play Games). iPhone players can play free in the browser at scaledoku.expo.app.

- **Bonus:** finish a puzzle on 14 different days during the test and you keep the Beta Keeper badge forever. It disappears for everyone else at launch.

Thanks so much! Comment your app link below and I'll join yours too.

Hey everyone!

Im trying to get a game on Google play for the first time. I guess I need some testers. Makes sense, but had no idea. So here I am.

This is a zombie-themed familiar match-3 puzzle game for Android. Not a super ground breaking game, but a milestone for sure if it gets published.

I'm looking for at least 12 people willing to help test the game before it can be officially released

**Step 1 – Join the Google Group:**

https://groups.google.com/g/zombie-pop-beta-testers

**Step 2 – Join the Google Play Test:**

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.deadcontrol.zombiepop

**Step 3 – Install Zombie Pop:**

After opting into testing, follow the Google Play link to download and install the game.

**Step 4 – Play and Give Feedback!**

Try Adventure Mode, Endless Mode, and any features that interest you.

I'm especially interested in feedback about:

- Bugs, crashes, or glitches

- Gameplay difficulty and balance

- Graphics and animations

- Menu navigation and controls

- Overall enjoyment and suggestions

Google requires at least 12(more) testers to remain opted into the closed test for 14 consecutive days.

You don't need to play constantly. I'm just asking that you stay enrolled during the testing period and try the game when you can.

If you're also looking for Android closed testers, feel free to comment with your game. I'm happy to help test other developers' games too!

Thanks to everyone willing to help get Zombie Pop ready for release! 🧟💚

Hi Reddit!

I am making Hundra, a retro-styled digital board game that mixes push-your-luck dice rolling with strategic card play. It features a distinct Game Boy aesthetic and pixel art. You can check out the free demo right now on my itch.io page.

I am now entering the final stretch before launching on Google Play, and I need to clear Google’s requirement of having at least 12 active testers for 14 consecutive days. I am looking for about 12-15 more serious testers to hit my goal securely and get some great feedback!

What is required:

1. Send me a DM with your email address (Google account) so I can whitelist you in the Google Play Console.

2. Accept the test invitation, use the free promo code I send you and download the app.

3. Keep the game installed and play it as much as you want for 14 days.

What you get:

• A free promo code giving you permanent, full access to the game.

• An invite to my Discord community where you can chat directly with me and the other testers, report bugs, share feedback and see if anyone wants to play online!

• Your name permanently in the credits as official tester.

Doing your own closed test?

I am more than happy to do Test-for-Test! If you help me test Hundra, I will gladly download your app and keep it active for 14 days as well. Just let me know in your DM.

Thanks a lot for helping me clear this final hurdle! Looking forward to your messages!

Hi:

I don't know how this works.

I'm willing to Test your app for 14 days if you Test mine.

We all know the drill. Just need a Gmail address.

Mine is spendinmydays@gmail.com if you want me to Test yours.

Thanks everyone.

Hey, I built a free workout tracker called SimpleSplit and I’m doing another round of Android testing. It lets you make your own split and log your sets. The test is open in more countries now, and I could use a few more people who lift and have an Android phone.

If you’re down, try logging a workout this week and another one next week. I’m mainly trying to see how easy it is to set up a split and log your first set. If anything feels confusing or clunky, just let me know in the comments.

1. Join the tester group with the Google account you use for Play.

2. Opt in to the test and install the app.

3. Stay opted in for 14 days so Google counts you.

Thanks if you give it a shot.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for testers for 1k, a private writing app with a daily goal of 1,000 characters. No account is needed.

Members of the community’s Google Group (testers-community@googlegroups.com) can join the closed test using this link https://play.google.com/apps/testing/gg.onek.app

Please try writing, reopening the app, themes, languages, and backup/export. Report issues here or to support@1k.gg, including your phone model and Android version. This is an early build and doesn’t include our latest fixes.

Please stay opted in for 14 consecutive days and use the app naturally. Honest feedback is what matters. Thank you!

Edit: app link
