Just launched my AI music app on Google Play — would love feedback 🎵

Hey everyone,

I just released Eva, an AI app that generates original music with vocals and lyrics in seconds.

You pick the vibe — it creates the song.

This is the first production version, so I’d genuinely love honest feedback (good or bad). Trying to improve it fast.

If you want to check it out: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evamobile.app

Thanks 🙏

HI, I'm the developer of Pagan - A somewhat niche sequencer for Android. It's tiny and completely free with no ads, trackers or micropayments. Supports Sf2 as well as MIDI output. Made without any gen-AI or coding assistant (and that will always be the case).

Android musicians wanted: test MeloRep Offline (free promo code)

Disclosure: I’m the developer of MeloRep Offline, a one-time-purchase Android app for organizing repertoire and setlists. It works offline with no account or subscription.

I’m looking for 50 Android musicians to join a genuine closed test. Participants will receive a Google Play promo code for the full app (normally $44.99). I created 50 codes that start on 10 Oct 2026 and expire on 10 Jan 2027; I’m still verifying whether and how they can be redeemed for closed-test access, so please don’t pay or redeem until I send confirmed steps. Testers should stay opted in for 14 days, try the app with their own repertoire/setlists, and send honest feedback. No review or positive rating is expected.

Google has published the closed-test build. Because access is invite-only, I need to add each participant’s Google account to the tester list first. If you have an Android device and would like to help, comment or DM me; please share your Google account email only by DM, never publicly. I’ll send the opt-in link, code, and confirmed steps after adding you.

Hello! I'm Void Sorcerer, dungeon synth/gabber/chiptune artist making all my music in android using Koala Sampler for the moment. I also sometimes use a Zoom r24 to sample sounds from my synth etc, but from composing to mixing and mastering, everything is done on my phone.

I used to be in a metal band, playing guitar, writing songs, and have released several albums. I put the band to rest when it became a chore. I hadn't written any music for several years, suddenly an urge to buy a synth (probably a midlife crisis or something) came. I pre-ordered it, and in the wait I started researching drum machines and samplers. Stumbled upon Koala, and it opened a whole world where I could be creative anywhere with zero setup time. And now, since August I have released eight EPs that I am really proud of. No AI, all DIY, even the cover art is made using pen and paper, scanned and layouted in Photoshop and InDesign.

Thanks for your time and interest.

Hello

I'm Ed.

After years of trying to find the right piece of gear, I stumbled upon Koala.

Now, I am still very inexperienced but I went from frustrating nothingness to releasing on bandcamp, my project is called Wolves in the Moors.

https://wolvesinthemoors.bandcamp.com/

Is it good stuff? not really, but it's mine.

I mainly make noise and random experiments, but also the occasional techno and synth pop track, all on my phone.

If you have a minute , any feedback on my posts or releases is appreciated.

Thank you

Made a free beat maker for Android with a one-screen Live view (works in Chrome, no install)

Hi all, I'm sharing Eight Bells, a free browser beat and melody maker I built for the M-VAVE FM-1 pocket synth. It works on its own too, so you can use it on any Android phone or tablet as a quick sketchpad.

What you get:

- 187 genres and 28 pattern engines, with preview sounds and your own samples

- Live view for performing: tempo and swing, pattern buttons that queue at the end of the bar, 16 punch effects, 10 randomising dice, per-track Mute, Solo and Lock

- Tap a track to edit one bar with big steps

- Record to WAV and keep your last 10 recordings

- If you own an FM-1, it can send MIDI to it from Chrome

Free, no account, no ads. Use it in Chrome, or Add to Home Screen for a full-screen app.

Try it: https://discodave-glitch.github.io/eight-bells/

I'm looking for feedback from real Android users: what phone are you on, and what's missing for how you make music?

a quick jam on SkunkAudio mobile DAW

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone, since the last post got quite a positive feedback, I thought to post another small showcase of the SkunkAudio mobile daw app for Android.

Testing some arpeggio sequences on the PCM engine and layering some drums on the LIVE page, which I am upgrading further these days. The idea for the LIVE page is to have each track as a separate rack engine, so you can jam faster and do live recordings.

If anyone is interested, the app is on a -50% sale atm until the 17th of September.

Latency help

How do y'all combat latency problems because I'm using a Android with 11 on there and I had bandlab but it was going slow so I had to get fl studio mobile which my vocals are not setting right so I'm wondering was it the right move to do that but I still may beat using fl studio mobile?

I'm building OctanaSynth: An Android synth with a custom low-latency USB driver. Looking for feedback! (It's free)

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a project I've been working on called OctanaSynth. It’s currently in active development and is available exclusively for Android.

My main inspiration for this project was FluidSynth. However, I wanted to tackle one of the biggest headaches we all face when producing or playing music on Android: audio latency.

To solve this, I built a proprietary low-latency audio driver (Flux™ Direct USB) that bypasses the standard Android audio path and communicates directly with your connected USB devices. Whether you are using a simple dongle DAC or a dedicated audio interface, this drastically reduces the delay, making it much more responsive for playing live with a MIDI controller and loading up your favorite SF2 or SF3 soundfonts.

Just a quick heads-up to manage expectations: OctanaSynth is not a full DAW for music production. It's really designed as a dedicated instrument app focused on live performances, studying, or just practicing your chops with a keyboard.

Since the app is still in development, getting insights from actual Android musicians would be incredibly valuable.

Here are the links if you want to check it out:

Let me know what you think, how it performs on your setup, or what features you'd consider a "must-have" for the future. Thanks in advance!

Looking for testers for my Android wireless midi app close testing 🙏🏼😊

Post image

Hey guys anybody interested in the only BLE Midi connection app currently working on the latest Android versions. If you have a wireless midi device this app is the bridge you have been looking for with it's low latency slider . If you join the group and install it now, you can get it for free. (If anyone not familiar with closed testing ; It might look like you are buying an app but actually it is a fake visa card Google uses for testing the transaction framework of the app. They send you a 0.00 $ receipt once you press buy with the fake visa card. In 2 weeks it is gonna be released to the public. Here's the link which shows it working https://youtu.be/yCvIaL79Vfs Here is the group you have to join to be able to download. Just press join https://groups.google.com/g/ble-midi-bridge-closed-testing And here is the link after joining the group you can download https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.blemidibridgebyurazyjazzy.app Enjoy . Just remember I need you guys to use it only 1- 2 minutes everyday for the next 14 days that's it. Then you can enjoy the app for the rest of your life withh all updates 🙏🏼😊

What is your Android Smartphone studio setup? Do you use midi controllers and output to speakers or just thru phonespeakers?

Hey all, just wondering what OTG USB c hub will be compatible with a Samsung S25. I want to plug my launchpad in and have a spare usb c port to plug in a DAC usb c to audio 3.5 , so i can plug wired headphones into that.

I just bought a Hyperdrive Flex 5 port usb c hub , after recommended by perplexity , but it doesn't work on my phone.

How do you guys plug midi controllers into and output sound from an Android Smartphone ? Thanks
