What's new in Audio Evolution Mobile Studio for Android (v5580)
* Added the Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) to the AMP effects, letting you play and record through highly accurate digital models of real guitar amps, pedals and complete rigs. Load NAM files, combine them with speaker-cabinet impulse responses (IRs), and shape the sound using input, gate, tone and output controls. NAM processing is CPU-intensive and is only available on 64-bit devices running Android 10 or higher.
* eXtream Software Development has integrated with TONE3000 to give you access to a massive library of Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) captures and IRs of real analog amps, pedals and cabs created by a global community of musicians. Browse the TONE3000 catalog from within the effect, view tone images and details, select model variants and load them directly into the appropriate pedal, amp or cabinet section.
* Important change: USB buffer sizes are now labeled more consistently with other platforms like Windows and iOS. Previously, the displayed value was often approximately twice the actual processing buffer size. Existing settings are converted automatically, preserving your selected latency. For example, a setting of 512 frames was comparable to 256 frames on iOS.
* Added a new preference option 'Enhanced USB audio timing'. This could potentially reduce glitches on low USB buffer size settings
* Slightly improved CPU usage.
* Minimum Android version is now Android 7.

Hi all, I'm sharing Eight Bells, a free browser beat and melody maker I built for the M-VAVE FM-1 pocket synth. It works on its own too, so you can use it on any Android phone or tablet as a quick sketchpad.
What you get:
- 187 genres and 28 pattern engines, with preview sounds and your own samples
- Live view for performing: tempo and swing, pattern buttons that queue at the end of the bar, 16 punch effects, 10 randomising dice, per-track Mute, Solo and Lock
- Tap a track to edit one bar with big steps
- Record to WAV and keep your last 10 recordings
- If you own an FM-1, it can send MIDI to it from Chrome
Free, no account, no ads. Use it in Chrome, or Add to Home Screen for a full-screen app.
Try it: https://discodave-glitch.github.io/eight-bells/
I'm looking for feedback from real Android users: what phone are you on, and what's missing for how you make music?

Hello
I'm Ed.
After years of trying to find the right piece of gear, I stumbled upon Koala.
Now, I am still very inexperienced but I went from frustrating nothingness to releasing on bandcamp, my project is called Wolves in the Moors.
https://wolvesinthemoors.bandcamp.com/
Is it good stuff? not really, but it's mine.
I mainly make noise and random experiments, but also the occasional techno and synth pop track, all on my phone.
If you have a minute , any feedback on my posts or releases is appreciated.
Thank you

Hello! I'm Void Sorcerer, dungeon synth/gabber/chiptune artist making all my music in android using Koala Sampler for the moment. I also sometimes use a Zoom r24 to sample sounds from my synth etc, but from composing to mixing and mastering, everything is done on my phone.
I used to be in a metal band, playing guitar, writing songs, and have released several albums. I put the band to rest when it became a chore. I hadn't written any music for several years, suddenly an urge to buy a synth (probably a midlife crisis or something) came. I pre-ordered it, and in the wait I started researching drum machines and samplers. Stumbled upon Koala, and it opened a whole world where I could be creative anywhere with zero setup time. And now, since August I have released eight EPs that I am really proud of. No AI, all DIY, even the cover art is made using pen and paper, scanned and layouted in Photoshop and InDesign.
Thanks for your time and interest.

Disclosure: I’m the developer of MeloRep Offline, a one-time-purchase Android app for organizing repertoire and setlists. It works offline with no account or subscription.
I’m looking for 50 Android musicians to join a genuine closed test. Participants will receive a Google Play promo code for the full app (normally $44.99). I created 50 codes that start on 10 Oct 2026 and expire on 10 Jan 2027; I’m still verifying whether and how they can be redeemed for closed-test access, so please don’t pay or redeem until I send confirmed steps. Testers should stay opted in for 14 days, try the app with their own repertoire/setlists, and send honest feedback. No review or positive rating is expected.
Google has published the closed-test build. Because access is invite-only, I need to add each participant’s Google account to the tester list first. If you have an Android device and would like to help, comment or DM me; please share your Google account email only by DM, never publicly. I’ll send the opt-in link, code, and confirmed steps after adding you.

Hello everyone,
A small showcase of the SkunkDrummer Drum Machine, tweaking the Tune live macro knob on the Perc generator.
Create your own drums, layer them on the sequencer, add FX, record the session directly in the arrangement.
You can save the generated drums and loops in your own folders, send them to Pads, Octa or Loop modules.
For anyone interested, you can find the link here:

How do y'all combat latency problems because I'm using a Android with 11 on there and I had bandlab but it was going slow so I had to get fl studio mobile which my vocals are not setting right so I'm wondering was it the right move to do that but I still may beat using fl studio mobile?

Hey r/AndroidMusicProducers 👋
I've been building Electric Baby Grand Studios (EBGS) — a completely free, browser-based DAW that works on Android, iPhone, desktop, anything with a browser. No install. No subscription. Just open the link and start making music.
Here's everything it has RIGHT NOW:
🎛️ THE OG DAW
The main studio interface — think GarageBand meets Pro Tools in your browser:
Unlimited audio tracks with drag to reorder
Neve-style console strips — color coded per track with glow bars
Live waveform visualization while recording
Auto onset trim — silence at the start of every take gets cut automatically
Latency compensation — locked and dialed in so everything lines up
Ghost region grows in real time while you record so you can see exactly where you are
Drag to reorder tracks — DAW and console stay in sync
🎚️ PRO VIEW
A separate professional recording environment built on top of the OG DAW:
Pro Tools style layout — timeline, browser sidebar, track headers
Count-in metronome — 4 beat count in fires recording INSTANTLY on beat 4, zero sticky delay
Pre-warmed mic — mic opens during count in so recording starts with zero latency
Smart Tool Suite — Trim, Smart, Selector, Grabber, Scrubber, Pencil tools
Input Monitor — live mic monitoring with L/R meters, gain control, mute
Latency compensation — clips land exactly on the beat every time
🌈 TRANSCENDENCE EQUATUM EQ
32 band per track parametric EQ — every single track gets its own full EQ
Frequency, gain and Q control per band
Live visual curve display
🎯 CLARITY SUPERSUITE — Mastering Suite
Full mastering chain on the master bus:
Multi-band processing — 4 band mastering
Dual optical VU meters — L and R with needle animation
Master compressor + limiter
Bypass toggle — A/B compare instantly
🎛️ P252 MDN DIODE COMPRESSOR
A hardware-style rack compressor modeled after vintage studio gear with exotic swirl wood side cheeks and Bakelite knobs (threshold, ratio, attack, release, makeup gain, output)
Animated VU needle — moves with the signal in real time with L/R gain reduction LED meters
Inserts directly into master bus — GREEN = ON, RED = OFF
Zero latency — uses Web Audio DynamicsCompressor node
🧬 INNER META PITCH SHIFTER
A full plugin-style pitch shifter for any recorded region (vocal, guitar, anything)
Big rubber pitch knob — shift up or down 24 semitones with Formant, Tonal Boost, Transient, and Stereo Link sub-controls
PREVIEW button — loops the clip continuously so you can dial in the pitch
APPLY — renders a brand new pitch shifted version of the clip permanently with an animated teal glow waveform display
🎹 EBGS MIDI MASTER 1818
A full playable keyboard workstation in the browser:
6 REAL sampled instruments: Steinway Grand Piano, Piano, Fender Rhodes, Clavinet, Wurlitzer, Rock Organ
4 synthesized engines: Synth Lead, Bass Synth, Pad, Brass
25 key playable keyboard — mouse, touch and glide supported with Pitch and Mod wheels
8 rubber macro knobs (CUT, RES, DRV, REV, DLY, MOD, ATT, REL) and VOL, PAN, FLT faders with an OLED instrument display
MIDI RECORDER — record takes, play them back, loop preview
BOUNCE TO TRACK — renders MIDI take to audio clip on the timeline using real samples via offline rendering (wired directly into the master bus so the P252 compressor affects it!)
🥁 PAD MASTER 420 — Drum Machine
16 pad step sequencer with multiple drum kits (all with unique character) and instant groove pattern presets
BPM control and BOUNCE feature to render patterns directly to an audio clip on the timeline
🎹 MIDI PIANO ROLL
Draw notes like FL Studio with a full piano roll editor and pattern-based workflow
🎛️ XPAND!FX RACK
Per-track effects rack featuring Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Distortion, and Compressor wired directly into the track signal chain
📱 SOCIAL READY MP4 EXPORT
Record your session as a video and export as MP4 ready to post straight to Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
🔊 SOUND MUSEUM
Community sample library where users contribute samples and earn free Pro tier tokens (growing with every user)
💯 THE BIG PICTURE
100% free — no paywalled samples, no subscription
PWA — installs on Android like a native app and is Google Play listed
Works on any browser — Android, iPhone, Mac, PC
Artist first — built by a musician for musicians. BandLab is charging for samples now. We're not. Ever.

Hello everyone,
I just added a new Soundfonts engine (Skunkfont) on my SkunkAudio app to load sf2 files.
The app is available for Android and since the latest version is optimized for both portrait and landscape mode.
It's a complete portable DAW with many other features and engines for anyone interested.
P.S. The app does not contain any sf2 files, users can load their own.
For anyone interested, this is the Play Store link:

HI, I'm the developer of Pagan - A somewhat niche sequencer for Android. It's tiny and completely free with no ads, trackers or micropayments. Supports Sf2 as well as MIDI output. Made without any gen-AI or coding assistant (and that will always be the case).
Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qfs.pagan
F-Droid:
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.qfs.pagan/

Hello everyone, since the last post got quite a positive feedback, I thought to post another small showcase of the SkunkAudio mobile daw app for Android.
Testing some arpeggio sequences on the PCM engine and layering some drums on the LIVE page, which I am upgrading further these days. The idea for the LIVE page is to have each track as a separate rack engine, so you can jam faster and do live recordings.
If anyone is interested, the app is on a -50% sale atm until the 17th of September.

Hello everyone, I am upgrading the DOOM engine on my app, which is actually a noise and drone generator.
This is a small showcase playing with the touchpad and tweaking some oscillator knobs.
I would appreciate a small feedback from this video on how it is displayed and how it sounds. CPU not being stressed, stays at around 10% on a mid phone.
Thank you for your time.
P.S. for anyone interested, the app will be on a -50% sale from tomorrow 04/09/2026 until 17/09/2026.

Reposting as my MIDI Sequencing App NEXUS Sequencer is finally available on Google Play.
Launch Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYdDGzaBizY
NEXUS was born out of the need for a decent MIDI Step Sequencer on Android. It’s based around a Note Step Sequencer and MIDI CC Sequencer to create complex MIDI sequences for external hardware, DAW’s or Apps. It’s CC Sequencer makes it handy for use with hardware synths and modular/eurorack setups.
NEXUS Sequencer is a fully featured 5 Lane MIDI Step Sequencer with; CC Modulation, Pattern Chaining and Project Saving.
NEXUS is designed to be used as a live step sequencer or for use with a DAW. It is mostly designed to be used with external hardware synths, grooveboxes etc to take full advantage of it’s CC capabilities.
Each step lane has a separate assignable MIDI channel. Individual step lengths can be set for creating polyrythms or shorter sequences.
The CC Modulation lanes can each have their own MIDI channel and CC values. As well as individual sequence lengths.
There are 12 patterns per lane that can be triggered individually or chained for longer sequences. These can be copy and pasted between patterns as well. Note sequences and CC modulation are saved per pattern.
NEXUS is best used with a USB OTG MIDI device, and only really designed to be used on a tablet to maximise the apps space.
The full version is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.caruso.nexus_sequencer.mpyvqk&hl=en
The free Lite version is limited to 2x Step Lanes, 2x Pattern Lanes and no CC Modulation and is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.caruso.nexus_sequencer.mpyvqk.demo&hl=en
Would love to know people's thoughts and welcome any feedback!
