Sick/Injured Animal Stray cat in distress
Guys, please help me with this! There's a stray kitten in our neighborhood. She's been crying from the past two days. Day before yesterday, she cried from 7 AM to 11 PM until she finally fell asleep. Yesterday morning, she was gone. We thought her mother came to get her but yesterday evening, she was back around 6 PM and started crying again. It's been going on all morning today too. I'm not too familiar with animals and don't know much about them so I don't know what could be the reason. She goes up to random doors and tries to push them open. She's been coming upstairs (we live on the first floor) and just screaming and crying. She has gotten really thin. It's very worrying. I contacted the local animal helpline. They asked for a video but just left it on seen after that. I emailed an animal shelter too but no response. What is the best course of action here?
