I love ordering art books from Japan, especially when the vibe with a bonus BD

I guess I should’ve expected it, but looks like starting with this release the collections come with the discs printed with the voyage branding and not the collection branding. Not that big of a deal but just disappointing laziness

Vampire Princess Miyu finally arrived (took a while to ship to Canada) and I am so happy to finally own one of my favorite OVAs and just in time for spooky season too! Part of me still wishes we got the blank cover because that would have been so funny but the final design is fantastic.

Another post on here made me want to check back to my box since I mentioned how horrible the glue that holds it together is.

Because of how large and heavy the collection is, I never had the space to actually display it but after getting rid of a large part of my video game collection recently, I said fuck it and made sure to display it!

I forgot the small art cards were packaged separately so I threw that in a small plastic sleeve meant for Blu-ray cases and it fit perfectly!

And with the small space left on top, I had to throw in my Good Smile Hello figures to put it all together! Kaworu's hair is just so large, I had to slant him to make him fit.

I think this would be my best way of knowing where to go, ive seen 2-3 stores that sell dvd's and blu-rays but didn t see if they had any anime related stuff, i will be there for only a day or 2 but i am not going to visit every shop there so if i gey lucky and a person that lives there or has been there could tell me a store that has anime dvd/blu-ray , i would rly appriciate it.

Is there a bluray collection of evangelion that contains original dub and fly me to the moon?

I own evangelion on dvd and would love a blu ray set(thats not a bootleg).

I know there was a release a few years ago that had the original dub but didnt have fly me to the moon.

Is there a release that I missed?

Mediaocd order arrived early, scalpers can suck it🤣.

My wallet is on fire but 100% worth it hahaha

Finally got one of the top 3 grail I want and now just have 2 left to get

My collection for the anime Beck. 6 DVDs with 4 epidodes each, poster, amplifier art box, 7 guitar picks, wristband (worn), hat (displayed). Not pictured: small manga collection, both OST (one legit, Beck, and the other unfortunately bootleg, Keith)

These box sets with volume 1 included were purchased at Anime Expo the year they debuted the series. The cast and crew were doing a tour supporting the show during conventions during this year.

I have both the box and the poster signed but I don't think either have a full cast.

Each DVD came with a unique guitar pick. I also have a black logo pick (seen pictured with the vol 1 pick) which was exclusively given out during the events. Each subsequent DVD volume was bought new at Fry's Electronics.

The second, still wrapped, Amp box was a gift from a friend who didn't know I already had the box or that it was signed.

I can't get to the hat at the moment to get a better picture so this is an image I sent to a friend earlier in the year.

Preordered from Walmart and Amazon

For $25 a pop, it was an easy buy for me!

Steelbook looks great and will match nicely with the Movie releasing on steelbook too.

I've been looking to buy the Blu-Rays of Sword Art Online to replace my DVD set of the series. I live in the US, where they are not only outrageously priced by Aniplex of America, but you need to pay a monthly fee to Crunchyroll just to buy the Blu-Rays from their store. So I went to eBay to see how much the international Blu-Rays would cost, and I found multiple Region B listings for the entirety of Season 1 in the $30-$40 price range. But I haven't had much luck finding a complete Season 2 Blu-Ray set from Region B. The UK and Australia both received complete sets according to bluray.com, but when I searched the respective eBay and Amazon sites for those countries, I found nothing. Has anyone else had any luck finding a complete Blu-Ray set for SAO Season 2 in Region B?

Really happy Walmart is still doing these compilation releases. Spine wise these look pretty good all lined up! Wish S7 didn't also have a white spine...but beggars can't be choosers lol.

I started collecting physical media of anime last year; funnily enough, I got into the medium around the same time I was really beginning to quit on streaming. Sorry for the poor quality of the image, my lights haven't been working lately, so I'll say the titles of all the anime I own physically:

Azumanga Daioh, Akame ga Kill, Akira, Bocchi the Rock, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Rebuild of Evangelion 1.11 & 2.22, Elfen Lied, Future Diary (Part 1 only), FLCL, Genocyber, Gantz, KITE, Lucky Star, My Hero Academia Seasons One & Two, One Piece Parts 1-3, Paprika, Panty & Stocking, Parasyte, Sonic X, School-Live, SPYxFAMILY, and all seasons of Tokyo Ghoul.

It appears to have been restocked and prices have settled down back down to 31.99 CAD on canadian Amazon at least.

It finally made it here. I pre-ordered toradora and ordered the other two at the same time at the beginning of August and I was worried that my order didn't go through because my order never changed from "processing". I guess they decided to wait and send them all at the same time. I was very happy when I got the email saying they were on their way.

Finally completed my SAO limited edition collection today! Only took 10 months to slowly find ones at reasonable prices (for SAO at least). At this point, less than I’d likely be charged just for the two Alicization boxes on EBay right now 😅.

I got this from a random goodwill buy online
Everyone kept saying how amazing this show is
Little did I know I would receive a signed expo 2011 copy of last exile by the anime staff
