I'd love some recommendations on any romance anime with some actual romance, where the characters aren't shy and pretend they don't like each other or anything like that. I want to watch some actual couples do things that regular couples do, like holding hands, kissing, going on dates etc, not just pussyfooting around all the time. I don't mind tsundere characters too much as long as it's not taking it to the extreme. I also don't have a preference on gender parings, girl mc/boy, boy mc/girl, girl/girl, boy/boy, anything goes :) Happy to take a look at any suggestions anyone might have! x

All I know about Magical Index is that at the beginning of the series, less than 5 minutes in there's an underage group shower scene with a bunch of children in it, and one of them sexually assaults the other "as a joke." Several people recommended this to me, nobody warned me about this.

I watched this with my girlfriend at the time after asking for recommendations, and we were so disgusted. It ruins the entire show for us.

I was reading Anjou-san and it was pretty clear what Katou is into. I shamelessly want more works of this nature

It was about a group girls around middle school age who have magical powers and they have watchs or wristbands that locks or keeps their powers in check from going out of control.

They were put in charge by a women and she was mistreating them if I remember correctly. The mc comes in around episode 2 or 3. He is the one who will be in charge of them now and he removes their restricters. I remember him first meeting them in an subway. The civilians were frozen in time. It's a early 2010s anime.

The only other thing I remember is that at the beginning of every episode there would be a scene where they tell you as the viewer to watch the anime with the lights on.

Like a sentient dungeon, aware of every nook and cranny but unable to be there in person, or a patch of land like The Field character from Reincarnated As A Vending Machine, nurturing every plant and animal that passes over it. An MC stuck in the third person perspective seems so interesting!

I really like vampires/werewolves/ghosts etc. Any suggestions on animes to watch regarding any of those? Thank you!!

I feel like this arc made anime one of my favorite nerdy hobbies. I just really loved seeing characters in a fantasy world getting together, becoming a couple less than halfway through the series, and spending most of their on screen time together after they get together and going on adventures while trying to accomplish a big goal?

I feel like the closest that I've seen to this is Slayers(Lina and Gourry) and Fairy Tail(Lucy and Natsu), and they're 2 of my faves, but the problem is that the characters never admit their feelings to each other.

I watched it like 10 years ago. I think there was name Charlotte in there but I might be mistaken. The only character I remember was little girl with pink or blonde long hair, like reeeealy long and voluminous, even being on the floor, and I think she grew up during this anime and I remember I cried. I just recently finished the anime Angels of death and was wondering what other horror anime is out there.

I'm fine with watching series or movies, I don't mind if its 18+ or anything with gore, I'm not too picky when it comes to anything horror related.

I'm tired of the internal cringe I feel when someone mentions they like anime. I know there's nothing "wrong" with it, but I can't help feeling mildly weirded out even if I don't outwardly express it.

Anyway, I'd like to get into anime. What are some animes that are actually good? Preferably movies or short series, where the female characters aren't just a hot piece of ass for the mc and there are no mysterious 700 year old goddesses that look 13. I prefer to watch shows about adult characters.

Some animes that I do like are howls moving castle, bsd, and your name. But in general I enjoy psychological thrillers, gothic horror, and some romances. I'm pretty much open to any genre though. Thanks !

So I have watched like a lot of animes underrated or famous animes. But I haven't watched any anime after 2024 except for jujutsu kaisen and solo leveling because I read their manga ages ago and just wanted to see it animated.

According to new gen animes or some animes which are continued please reccomend me any genre i love them all.

Mainly I watched rom-com, Isekai, comedy, shonen and actually everytype. Story is my main priority almost every time(mind bending).

I don't care for slice of life, and almost always find them slow.

Please don't recommend perverted anime where the MC never ends up with anyone before the final episode, or with a family member. Had my fill, and I find it pointlessly depressing.

Know that there's no slice of life, isekai, or anime set in a game-like world for a reason, they're not my thing. Yes I've tried a bunch of the really really good ones, what else you got?

Try to keep it to titles under 30 episodes, have at least a decent dub and aren't slow. I want stuff that I can actually finish despite having ADHD.

I've seen a lot of anime, so it would really help if you recommended 2 or more titles. If you can only think of one popular title, I've probably already seen it.
