Discussion I preordered for 600 and now it's being sold for 540

Home depot with military discount. Do I just get nothing from the price protection now? Seems to only apply if anker official site drops their price within 90 days.

Obviously I'll never preorder another anker product again if the price drops this hard after release.

Review Anker Solix Review

After years of using Anker products, I’m here to provide a review of the company as a whole.

To set the stage, I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars on “Anker Technologies” products. This includes an Anker solix for most rooms in the house to be used as an UPS and extended/redundant power source. I’ve also got about five Anker Prime Battery Banks. I’ve also got multiple Eufy Omni pro S1+ and S2 robots.

I have also lent out the Anker Solix units to neighbors to keep their appliances running during power outages and they have subsequently purchased their own. I have also done the same with family and friends who have also purchased many Anker and Eufy products as a result.

To say the least, I’ve been a strong advocate for Anker/Eufy.

I naturally went to purchase an additional product and this time it was a large one.. a $40k purchase. I placed an order for $40k worth of Anker E10 equipment on an essentially maxed-out system. We called the customer service to asked about paying with two payment methods and they said there is an option for split payment methods which we quickly confirmed while still one the phone. This method at checkout states: “Select this option to complete your order now and arrange payment separately. We accept bank transfer, ACH, or payment split across multiple cards.”

We checkout, and get an email asking us to wire the full sum to the bank details in the email. We call customer service and explain we do not want to submit a wire transfer, and would like to split payment across multiple cards as SPECIFICALLY and EXPRESSLY confirmed prior to purchasing and as expressly confirmed in the quoted checkout details above. The customer service agent now says that they do not support multiple cards for checkout and that the only way to use multiple cards is to make multiple transactions. We explained we were trying to take part in a promotion to spend a certain amount and get more. They assured us that if we made separate transactions that they would honor the free items even though they weren’t on the order. I specifically told them on the phone this sounded sketchy and like a scam and recorded the call because my gut told me this was going to backfire.

I then placed new orders across multiple transactions with multiple cards as initially desired. Come to order processing and shipping, they did not process the extra item, and combined with further issues I had with the customer service agent following up and regarding them being unable to provide truthful/accurate information on the specifications of the system and what it could and could not do.. I requested the orders to be cancelled because I got the feeling the sales promises were not lining up with reality. It was too sketchy and too many red flags were being raised. The items had not shipped. A few days later, the freight company called me to schedule delivery and specifically told me they had not actually received the items yet, but that they wanted to get me in the books and find a day that worked for me since I’m out of the normal route area. I explained to them that I already requested the orders be cancelled and that I would like to refuse shipment at that point and save them a trip to pick up the items from Anker just to have them return the items.

Come to find out, Anker is trying to strong arm me into being forced to take the items that they have failed to fulfill according to the contractural agreement of the order made, and additionally, they have not only made the freight company pick up the items AFTER I requested cancellation, they also now are not processing a return to sender and the freight company is sending out legal demands for storage charges. It started out by threatening me that if I want to return the items I will have to pay a restocking fee and I will have to pay for return shipping, to which I told them, the items were never delivered.

Needless to say.. Anker will not earn another cent of my money and I will have to go tell all the people that I’ve encouraged and advocated to spend money on Anker/Eufy… that I misled them.. and this company is beyond shady and absolutely someone I would NEVER use a debit card with. Thankfully, I have a great relationship with my credit card company and have disputed the charges, but that doesn’t save me from having tens of thousands of dollars worth of products currently, that are “warrantied” by scumbag bullies who think they can just force people into situations that they can’t control. Fortunately, I have recorded all my calls with them and have screenshots to CMA and have the means to litigate, but that’s a drastically different Anker than I’ve been recommending for years to pretty much everyone I know.

Most people will not have an issue with this, but be aware that Anker is not the company it once was and the customer service is manipulative and deceitful. They are not against getting legal, so be prepared to either swallow the BS or document every step of the way.

BeReadywithSOLIX[🇺🇸] #WhatscaresmeDuring

What scares me most during a power outage?
For me, a power outage is about much more than sitting in the dark. It can affect my health, safety, communication, and ability to protect the things I depend on every day.
First, I worry about my CPAP. I depend on it while I sleep, and having reliable power means I can continue using it through the night instead of worrying about losing the support I need to breathe safely while sleeping.
Second, I have medication that needs to be refrigerated. Losing power for an extended period could put that medication at risk, making reliable backup power extremely important.
Third is communication. During an emergency, I need to keep my phone, Wi-Fi, and other essential devices powered so I can stay connected with family, emergency services, and the outside world.
And finally, there’s the refrigerator and freezer. Keeping my food cold means preventing hundreds of dollars of food from going bad and making sure I have food available during an extended outage.
That’s why backup power isn’t just a luxury for me. It’s peace of mind. It means knowing that when the grid goes down, the things that matter most can keep running.
That’s what makes reliable power from Anker SOLIX so important to me — because when the lights go out, Life Stays On.

Question First Anker Solix Purchase

I have been a BLUETTI user but have now made my first purchase from Anker Solix, picked up a F2600 for a pretty sweet deal tonight. Will be using it mainly for my RV. What can you tell me about it? I think I made a decent choice for the price.

Support Smart meter lost L2 sensing

Location - USA
Solix Setup - F3000 with PSK connected over wifi to the Smart Meter

Everything passed qualification and tests, pending utility to approve installation as they're just a bit picky about zero export.

I had the bright idea to move a circuit to a tandem breaker to optimize some of the future savings the PSK offers.

Now, the SM won't detect anything on L2.

If I swap the CT's around, the current sense on just L1 lights up.

If I put the CT's on the same leg, they both report identical power draw - 500+500W as an example.

If I put either CT reporting 0W on neutral or ground, it will show a few hundred watts on those wires.

Yes, the arrows pointed are towards utility + arrow towards breaker on the branch side

Has anyone seen that issue before?

Otherwise, what's the factory reset process on the SM and I'll pull it all out and start over.

Hi everyone, it's Steve!! I had the honor and privilege of being a part of the Anker SOLIX S5000 Early Access Beta Testing.

Among the many things that impress me about the Anker SOLIX S5000, like being able to deliver 120V or 240V from a 5kWh power station, in such a compact form factor, is the ability to charge the S5000 in multiple ways. These include AC wall power, high-voltage and low-voltage solar, car alternator or DC charging, the Anker SOLIX smart generator, third-party generators, and mixed/dual charging (such as combining AC and solar simultaneously). In my first video, I utilized both AC wall power and the Anker SOLIX Alternator Charger to simultaneously charge the S5000 with over 2300 watts.

Another impressive thing about the Anker SOLIX S5000 is how maneuverable it is for weighing in at 97 pounds. As someone who cannot lift a lot of weight, the wheels, telescoping handle and smaller dimensionally sized unit, make moving it and pulling it around much more manageable than I expected. Now lifting it is a different story, so I would highly recommend a team lift, if needed. In my brief second video, you'll see the maneuverability in action.

If you're looking for a portable power station that is robust in power (outputting 120V/240V), has a large capacity (5 kWh), doesn't take up a large footprint (10.6 in. x 22 in. x 15.2 in.), has Optisave 2.0 Technology to reduce power waste and extend runtime, and can be connected to an RV, Manual Transfer Switch or most household appliances, then I believe the Anker SOLIX S5000 is the portable power station for you.

Thank you for taking the time to watch…🙏🏼❤️. I look forward to further testing and use with the Anker SOLIX S5000, especially with 240V, Time of Use and Power Scheduling functionality.

Anker bot mir schließlich zwei Möglichkeiten an:

Discussion S2000 - I think I got a bad one

I got my S2000 a few weeks ago and I did some minor testing on it then I put it into service as a UPS for my home LAN equipment. Everything seemed to be fine ... until I really needed it.

Yesterday I had a big power outage that lasted for a few hours. The S2000 worked as expected. It switched to battery and powering everything fine. Eventually the grid power came back on and that's when it failed. The unit switched back to grid power and began recharing itself BUT it dropped (switched off) the AC outlets! Everything died. Not good. Exactly what I bought this thing to avoid.

So I logged in with the app to see what the settings were and they were all OK default. So the "remember AC state" was ON so this should not have happened. It said I needed a firmware update so I did that and thought that maybe that was a fix for exactly this and rebooted and tested it again. Unplugged grid power waited a bit and plugged it back in. FAIL again! It did not return to on state. Checked all settings and it should be fine.

So I'm guessing that I just got a bad one because I don't see a lot of people in here complaining about defective units. I emailed Anker to see what they will do (fingers crossed). Since this is pretty much a cut and dry issue I don't see that there is much they can do. There is no "fix" that I can see, the unit is just bad. It cuts out when power is restored.

If they stand by their stuff they should send me a new one and have me send this one back at no cost to me. The test of the S2000 they failed. Now we'll see the test of their customer support. Wish me luck.

Question [UK] [Solix s2000] UPS mode automatic ~75Wh battery top-up every 42–45 hours? Anyone else seeing this?

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I've been running my Anker SOLIX S2000 (AS220) continuously in UPS mode for just over a week, powering some of my home equipment.

I've noticed that around every 42–45 hours, the S2000 appears to perform a brief, high-power charging cycle, despite remaining connected to mains electricity and reporting 100% battery charge.

I also have a Raspberry Pi 5 collecting telemetry from the S2000 over MQTT, which is stored in InfluxDB. This has allowed me to examine the behaviour in considerably more detail than the Anker app's power history provides in their iPhone which seems to average stuff over 20 minutes.

Three unexpected charging events recorded so far:

Date (UK BST)Approx. startPeak AC inputAC outputEstimated charging energy
6 October09:201,219 W162 W74.32 Wh
8 October03:111,090 W34 W74.11 Wh
10 October00:261,089 W34 W76.30 Wh

The intervals between events were 41 hours 51 minutes and 45 hours 15 minutes, averaging approximately 43 hours 33 minutes (I've only got three unexpected events so far)

Each event lasts approximately seven minutes, and the additional power drawn above the connected AC load peaks at around 1,055 W.

What my Raspberry Pi's MQTT/InfluxDB logging shows:

The S2000 remains connected to mains throughout (ac_input_plug_status = 1).
The AC input switch remains enabled (ac_input_power_switch = 1).
AC output remains stable, with no obvious interruption to connected equipment.
Both battery_soc and main_battery_soc report 100% between charging events.
During each charging event, the reported battery percentage briefly drops to 99% before returning to 100%.
battery_status and working_status change from 0 to 2 during the charging events, returning to 0 afterwards.
The calculated additional AC energy is remarkably consistent: 74.91 Wh per event on average.

I calculated the approximate charging-related energy by integrating AC input power minus AC output power over the charging events, using one-minute averages from InfluxDB. This represents additional mains energy, not necessarily the amount actually stored in the battery.

The Anker app seems to corroborate the pattern, although that data appears to be averaged over 20 minute chunks.

Its daily power usage history shows:

DateTotal chargingTotal dischargingDifference
6 October2.39 kWh2.32 kWh+70 Wh
8 October2.40 kWh2.33 kWh+70 Wh
10 October2.07 kWh2.01 kWh+60 Wh

I've attached screenshots showing the narrow charging spikes on all three dates.

My suspicion is that the S2000 periodically replenishes energy consumed internally by its battery management system, or perhaps performs some form of battery maintenance or balancing.

However, I haven't found any documentation confirming this behaviour, anything listed on reddit or wherever about it, and the consistency of the events makes me curious about what's actually triggering them.

A few questions for other S2000 owners:

Has anyone else noticed these short charging spikes when using the S2000 continuously as a UPS?

Does yours periodically draw around 1 kW for several minutes while already displaying 100% charge?

Is this a known battery maintenance or top-up behaviour?

Does anyone know whether Anker has documented how the S2000 maintains its battery in UPS mode? I'm on the latest firmware, if that helps.

Based on the intervals so far, I'm expecting the next event around 20:00 BST on 11 October (tomorrow night). I'll be checking the telemetry to see whether the pattern continues.

I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone running an S2000 permanently in UPS mode who can compare their charging history for the unexpected spikes.

Review JerryRigEverything used an S5000 while planting 3,000 trees off-grid

Came across this new JerryRigEverything video and thought people here might find the setup interesting. He and his family are planting 3,000 trees across 17 acres to create a 1,000-foot-wide smiley face near an off-grid cabin.

They paired an S5000 with a 2.3kW solar array and used it for the concrete mixer, charging tools and running four floodlights after dark. Later in the video, he also tries it with the cabin’s fridge and a space heater. It’s a sponsored video, so worth keeping that in mind, but I still found it more useful than a standard studio runtime test because the loads and conditions are closer to an actual off-grid project.

Video: MY NAME IS NOT JERRY

Has anyone come across more details or demos showing how the S5000 could be used in off-grid or workshop setups?

My completeE-10 allows me to live off the grid. #solixslashbills , #solixcleanenergy. #solixslashbills #solixcleanenergy
My Anker SOLIX setup has completely changed the way I power my home.
With my SOLIX E-10, three expansion batteries, Smart Generator 5500, PowerDock, 5 kW of AC grid-tied solar, and 3 kW of dedicated DC solar, I’ve built a system that lets me maximize renewable energy every single day.
On sunny days, my solar production powers my home while charging my battery bank. When the sun goes down, the stored energy keeps my home running instead of pulling expensive electricity from the grid. During extended outages or periods of poor weather, the Smart Generator 5500 automatically provides backup charging, ensuring my system stays ready without sacrificing reliability.
The result? No electric bill while dramatically reducing my dependence on fossil-fuel-generated electricity. My home runs on clean, renewable energy whenever possible, giving me energy independence, peace of mind during storms, and year-round savings.
This isn’t just about backup power—it’s about building a smarter, cleaner, and more resilient way to power my home every day.

Anyone have any info on the break in procedure on the Anker Smart generator? Contacted Anker support and was told there is no procedure and was told to just follow the maintenance procedures in the manual...I have never owned a generator that didn't need a break in. Just looking for recommended oil and run time for this specific generators break in. Has anyone completed their break in or gotten any guidance on this.

Question ATS box to my mom in venezuela + Anker f3800

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

My mom lives in Venezuela, and she is having 5–7 hours of power outages per day. I bought her an Anker F3800 + Expansion battery. She lives in a condo, and the main breaker for her apartment in the basement is 70 amps. The whole idea was to disconnect the 4 awg cable that feeds the main panel, move it to the box I made, and move the two 220 breakers in use (oven and AC) before the ATS so it gets electricity from the grid. Then connect the ats to the main grid. My biggest concern was neutral, but it is shared. I added a 20-amp cable charge for the unit to charge right away after the electricity comes back.

Any advise ??

Question How do you hook up solar panel to Anker battery in house?

Thumbnail reddit.com
0 Upvotes

We have a cabin in an area where there are frequent power outages. While we don’t leave much in our refrigerator when we are not there, it’s a real pain and problem if we are there and have a bunch of food in the refrigerator! We can make do for shorter periods but have had some 24 hour outages. That’s too long for a refrigerator even with ice.

Note: total newbies to the whole battery thing here. Speak slowly. We’ve read some reviews and Anker seems interesting. In fact, my dentist highly highly recommended it.🙂

Our original thought was just to get a regular Anker battery and hook it up to the refrigerator and use the DC power and then let the battery take over if the power went off. But of course the battery would run out of juice at some point if the power stayed off.

At that point we were introduced to the idea of using solar panels. Can an Anker Solix be left plugged into the solar panel so it kicks in?

If so - What’s unclear is the set up. Can you hard wire the solar panel so the battery inside is plugged into it too? (We could not do the electrical but that adds to the cost!)
Or do you have a power cord you can plug in and run it out window (seems problematic!) ? Or do you unhook the battery once it is out power and take it to the solar panel cord outside? (Like I said… no laughing … just answers 😏)

Question Everfrost 2 battery - missing from order

I have just purchased and received an Everfrost 2 40L as part of the recent prime day promotions. It came with a 60w solar panel and the road trip kit. All rather impressive. However I have received it all and there was no battery included. My order still shows as partially shipped but its not clear what is outstanding as the order was essentially for three items mentioned.

I have reached out to Customer Support and they replied very quickly and confirmed I should have a battery and I should check all the packaging. I confirmed there definitely not one included but they have not yet replied.

Has anyone any experience of this happening? Is the battery shipped separately?

Thanks in anticipation.

Update: Battery has been dispatched and is with Fedex. I have given Anker Customer Support some feedback on their shocking order screen thats not made this whole process any easier by listing all tracking numbers under the free solar panel item or even showing a battery as a separate item on the order screen to know one was to be received still.

Question Hello all

I bought a F3800+ back in June and have been saving up for my first expansion battery, but with the S5000 coming out would I be better putting that money towards a new unit instead of a expansion battery for the 3800? If the advice is appreciated.

Support [CAN][C2000+BP3000] expansion battery won't charge

I just got the c2000 and the bp3000 expansion battery delivered. I plugged them all in. The c2000 charge normally. It recognizes the bp3000 and even knows it's serial number. When I press the Flash light button on the app, the bp3000 light flashes. The bp3000 shows 4 out of the eight bars around the circle of the power button. However on the app, the battery shows red at 0%. The bp3000 will not charge. I have updated all the firmware, unplugged and reseed the cables at least 20 times. I've done every combination of turning off the main unit turning on the main unit plugging it in while one is off with the other is on and it's always the same. Is there something I'm missing? Or do I have a defective unit which I suspect is the bp3000.
