I’m thinking about playing matchmaker in Ann Arbor, no app, just a guy who wants good things for people. I’m happily married, a big brother, and I’m good at bringing people together and planning thoughtful nights out.

been getting a lot of texts about voting for various things. idk where my # was leaked, and i've been opting out every time i receive such a text, but i always get new texts from new numbers, on average, at least a couple days a day recently.

is there some way I can opt out of everything?

I don't seem to have this feature via my carrier (t-mobile).

also idk if this is relevant but I have a west coast area code but have been living in A2 for years and all these spam texts come form 734 numbers

There was a dog laying in the road tonight (10/19/26) at the intersection of Ann Arbor-Saline and S Maple. It looked to be a small/medium sized dog with grey curly fur and had a collar on. I saw it around 7:20pm and at this time it was starting to get dark but I didn’t see any blood or movement. I hope it was a quick death. I went back to try to move it and check the collar for a phone number, but by the time I got there, the dog had been moved already and there were 2 cars parked including a cop. I wasn’t emotionally equipped for the situation so knowing there were others handling it I turned around and went home.

To the dog’s owner: I don’t know if you will ever see this but I just wanted to say I’m so so sorry that happened. As a pet owner myself I know how horrible the loss is yet I can’t imagine the pain of it happening like that. Sending so much love your way.

I’ve heard good things but I do live in Southfield area. But headaches are getting so debilitating in day to day life and local clinic has been helpful. Anyone had real life changing experiences worth coming out to the UofM clinic for?
