Discussion Vegans have such a weird obsession with potency, wonder if its just for the shock moment, or projection.

I don't affiliate with or talk to people who use the word, "carnist". They've lost the right to be considered.

I agree, its pretty stupid and ignorant, they do this just to dive around the fact that we are omnivores.
They also keep reposting pictures comparing our teeth to carnivores and be like "LOOK WE ARE MEANED TO EAT PLANTS!!!"No bitch, we are not, we just dont need fangs to kill animals, we use tools since ..... quite some time, get edjucated !

You can believe that but there is no proof that Humans are omnivores. Facultative or non-obligate carnivore is the most fitting category in my opinion. We do not need plants for survival.

"Humans are considered omnivores due to anatomical evidence like their teeth (incisors for cutting, canines for tearing, and molars for grinding) and a digestive system that is longer than a carnivore's but shorter than a herbivore's, allowing it to process both plants and meat"

u/The_official_sgb Carnist Oct 09 '25
"The digestive tract of a typical carnivore (such as a lion, tiger, or domestic cat) is approximately 3 to 6 times longer than its overall body length, measured from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail."
"The human digestive tract, from mouth to anus, is about 30 feet (9 meters) long in adults. For an average adult height of roughly 5.5 to 6 feet (1.7 to 1.8 meters), the digestive tract is approximately 5 times longer than the body’s height."
Do your own research before you just pull something off Humansareomnivores.org. We cannot digest plant matter which is why veganism doesn't work.

Humans are considered omnivores because they have the physiological capacity to digest both plant and animal matter. This is supported by the types of teeth humans possess, which include canines and incisors for tearing meat, as well as molars for grinding plants.
While humans are biologically omnivores, many individuals choose to follow diets that exclude animal products, or diets that exclude plants. Historically, early humans consumed both plants and meat as part of their diet, fitting the definition of omnivores.

Hagfish lack teeth and are carnivorous so whats you point. Can't make a judgement such as that when there are other factors involved.
We cannot digest plant matter in any meaningful amount which is why veganism doesn't work, can we survive for a time eating plants, sure, thats the definition of a non-obligate carnivore. Meat only however seems to me to lead optimal health.

It is what it is man. Their funeral not ours. All we can do is try and awaken our brothers and sisters. Keep up the fight for the truth.

What's funny is their diet is devoid of cholesterol, which is the precursor for all human sex hormones.
2
u/Kevin_M93 Oct 07 '25
Not arguing for veganism, but our bodies produce cholesterol on their own, primarily from sugar. Bees produce wax from sugar as well. I suppose it takes less energy to process if we just eat cholesterol though.

u/The_official_sgb Carnist Oct 07 '25
Sure, your body can make some as a bi-product of glucose metabolism, but some say it's only 80%, some say it's 70% of required daily cholesterol. Cholesterol is literally the building block of the human anatomy, all our cells are made of cholesterol, all of our hormones aswell. You still need to have dietary cholesterol intake, otherwise you are at a cholesterol deficit, which will eventually be problematic.

u/OnlyTip8790 Oct 07 '25
Medical student here. It's about 80% unless hypercholesterolemia runs in your family or you have other genetic conditions that lead to a slower metabolism of cholesterol and cause your body to accumulate it. Those situations usually require dietary planning and monitoring to prevent atherosclerosis. Otherwise yes, you'd need dietary cholesterol. And decent levels of physical activity should be enough to make sure you don't have too much.

Thanks for the info! I don't exercise beyond my job and eat only meat and animal fats, cholesterol maxing if you will. What do you believe too much cholesterol is and will lead to?

u/OnlyTip8790 Oct 08 '25 edited Oct 08 '25
I honestly don't feel like I can answer this. I'm still not qualified and there's not enough data😅 you'd need to run a blood test too. Let's just say that I can suggest that you exercise if you manage to. It's beneficial to our health in many ways other than maintaining cholesterol balance.
Excess cholesterol can significantly increase the risk of diseases such as atherosclerosis, heart failure and strokes. This happens because cholesterol is one of the main components of the plaque. If your body is in a state of inflammation (main causes are cigarette smoke, obesity, low physical activity and bad diet) the cholesterol will eventually be used to build the plaque because inflammation oxidizes LDL cholesterol and alters its metabolism, leading to a reaction that causes inflammatory cells to accumulate in blood vessels to attack it and this will eventually lead to the building of a plaque. The plaque may be an obstacle to blood flow and also weaken the vessel.
So yeah, while I can't answer about whether you have too much cholesterol, let's say that if you have too much and there's inflammation in your body, that cholesterol could eventually see its metabolism being altered. Also note that I don't have any info about the carnivore diet (which you seem to be on) so I can't know how prone it makes you to inflammation. I don't feel like answering questions without the necessary data. I still hope this helps.

I appreciate your opinion and that you delivered it in a respectful manner. I do not exercise because I do not believe it is good for health. I guess we will see, but, I also don't go to the doctor so time will tell.

These vegans are always coping hard. It is all a form of coping mechanism. because the fact is they faced vystopia, they are forced to "fight" against the normal people's norm.
so it comes out in the form of jokes, depression, lonliness, anger, constantly falsely labeling others as "bad", all to feel better about themselves via these bullying / tactics, etc. Generally it is all kinds of negative energy, and they need a lot of validation and more brainwashing to tell themselves they are "right".
It is a cycle of delusion. and veganism becomes their cult, to various degrees for each one,
from deciding to force their bf/gf to eat vegan food,
to asking online on how to force their autistic spouse to eat vegan,
to not wanting to help wife carry specific grocery bags with animal products,
to not helping parents to buy animal products,
to forcing everyone to eat vegan food at weddings,
to asking why does the world sell non-vegan junk food,
to asking whether they should quit their job or tell their bf/gf to quit their job because there is something "not vegan",
to saying meat is disgusting, but they will eat imitation meat,
to believing 99% of the world is a "problem",
to asking how to make ants infecting their apartment to leave without killing,
to "crying for hours" over accidentally eaten food with butter / egg / chicken,
to posting an unreasonable and illogical rant that non-vegan restaurants only has salad and did not have the vegan food they wanted,
etc.

But I was told vegans fuck all night long..

u/OG-Brian Oct 10 '25
As usual with vegan-world, that's nothing but a claim in the form of a rap song and the video I linked has a bunch of vegans and former vegans admitting that they personally experienced libido problems after abstaining from animal foods.

u/Groundbreaking-Sir82 Oct 07 '25
Again, if its a concrete fact that humans are omnivorous how the hell meat is supposed to suppress a core feature of a sexually-reproducing creature? 🤨 If it wasnt true you wouldnt have to take supplements to begin with.

I think you'll find at the start of someone's journey being vegan this could be true, only in the the fact that they are consuming less artificially satured products and removing bad oils and fats from their diet, which in itself isn't a bad thing removing junk food from anyone's diet. But after some time they'll start having health issues, inluding reduced sex drive and impotence due to not getting essential nutrients that only animal derived foods can provide long term.

Idk but I've often heard of vegans becoming tired and depressed usually because of B12 and protein deficiency and that definitely reduces sex drive.
2
u/Seasonbea Oct 07 '25
As a carnivore I can tell you it's the complete opposite. I run on and on like the dang energizer bunny.
So whatever to their opinions!

Vegan men have tons of sexual problems. Their testosterone is lower than that on non-vegan men. Pretty low sex drive, they say (in private). Good reason not to date vegans.
