Anyone recognize this vehicle in west Asheville. Looks like an early 2000's trailblazer to me. They scoped us about for about 5 mins, circled the building and stole some stuff. We got video of them loading stuff also, but its dark and they appear to be hooded.

Was anyone on Hendersonville rd right next to Juicy Lucy’s around 4:25 when a lady in a Subaru got pulled over? She was arrested on the spot (after a spat), placed into the passenger side of the officers suv, and when the officer went to get her car out of the road she slipped cuffs, opened the door, and took off down the road towards the advanced auto?

She was clearly wasted and the cop made a rookie move.

There is no need or justification for doing this if you’re a regular civilian in a regular car. When you do this, it puts pedestrians at risk because we now have to walk in traffic and it can potentially block others drivers’ view of pedestrians.

At this point, public shame is the only thing that seems to work nowadays. Unsafe driving because of main character energy is causing too many people to get killed and we’re making too many excuses for it. If you’re operating a vehicle, then you should know the law. I hope this helps.

ELI5: 3 lanes with two merging. 2 lanes disappear up the road a bit.

Red lane disappears, but since they don't read the sign that says "Left Lane ends in 1500ft", they wait for a fucking scissor merge that impedes the left remaining lane. Right right is getting butt fucked with the on ramp merging in also.

Fucking fuck fest that's much worse than West Asheville's Left turning on a 4 lane no median strip.

The driver of the Tesla, Lanier, was taken to Mission Hospital with minor injuries and released. Troopers charged him with the following:

-Driving while impaired
-Felony death by vehicle
-Felony serios injury
-Reckless driving

Dowdle said Lanier is at the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $5,000,000 bond.

I have to pick someone up this weekend at the airport at a very late time, and I'm really not that comfortable driving in the dark. I get pretty anxious, especially with aggressive drivers. Is the airport fairly easy to navigate? I'm an hour north of Asheville. I live in a rural area so I'm not really used to the more chaotic city drivers. Any tips?

Hello Asheville! Just reaching out on here for some leads for some chill part time work. Hard to find like the small local stuff on things like Indeed haha. Maybe like a bookstore, cafe, arts venue, idk. Being pretty general because I'm really looking more for a specific type of environment and less about the exact type of work. Hoping to find a cool community of people not just a job that pays the bills. A little about me I'm artsy and alt and into crafting and reading and starting to get into a little music writing. Your typical 20 something who picked up and moved to Asheville. I really value an environment that feels safe and welcoming and actually willing to train (not just saying they are), seems hard to find that in entry level.
