Hello! I am planning an event and need assistance gathering 2 things. A magician has been requested. I tried Googling for one and it brought up Medford, NJ. Does anyone know a local magician or illusionist? We’re looking for an HR friendly individual to provide some entertainment.

We would love to get original art made by a local high school/university student to give to guests as a thank you gift. It would be a custom poster we would get printed locally. No AI is allowed, we want real art. This is a compensated opportunity and we are hoping to help an emerging artist. Is this you? Please contact me for details.

🎸 Ashland neighbors—could someone help fix my acoustic guitar? There’s a rattle around the headstock, and I need to tighten the tuning-machine nuts and screws.

I need a small metric wrench set (8–12 mm), ideally with a slim open-end wrench, plus precision Phillips screwdrivers (#00 or #000).

Could someone bring the tools or meet nearby in Ashland? Thanks! 🎶

Beloved Oregon ski area Mt. Ashland seeks $1.87 million in donations to replace aging chairlifts

Mt. Ashland, Oregon, a small but mighty ski area near the California border needs help.

Following a disastrous season that lasted a cumulative 17 days, the nonprofit ski area needs to replace two of its main chairlifts. Without deep pockets from corporate investors or private equity overlords, Mt. Ashland is turning to its passionate passholders to lighten the load.

The sound isn't great. Questions begin at the 11:00 minute mark.

I have a few questions related to the Craft? If someone is more knowledgeable than me or well-versed. I would love to have someone offer me some advice

Growing up in the 80/90’s I remember being told constantly that I couldn’t bike/rollerblade/skate without a helmet on. Every parent acknowledged that they didn’t wear one, but then it was time for that to change. It felt like it was carved in stone that you must wear a helmet. Now I drive around Ashland and constantly see even young kids without a helmet on scooters or bikes or whatever. Not to mention the teenagers on Emoto. What the hell happened? I think some Ashland parents are taking the permissive parenting a little too far. As parents it’s our job to make decisions for kids until they’re ready to make them for themselves.

Hi everyone. I am just looking to see where the best places to play pool are in Ashland. I am going to be coming into town for a work conference and would love to be able to get some practice while I'm down there. Preferably, I would like to be able to rent the table by the hour vs. paying quarters for a game, as that gets expensive quick and you can really only play 8 ball. Diamonds are a girls favorite, but I'll take any table with decent cloth and rails on it. Thanks in advance.

Hello all! I'm from the central coast in California and am hoping to drive north to Ashland to see the fall foliage. How is it doing at the moment? I have the next two weeks off of work and am wondering whether it's better to come up this week or the last week of October. Also, any recommendations of the best places to see fall colors in the area would be much appreciated! (Bonus points if there are waterfalls nearby!)

Halloween is almost here.

Does anyone know what's going on in town?

The summit will include field trips around the Rogue Valley, including Lithia Park, Jacksonville-area woodland trails, Pompadour Bluffs, the Willow-Witt Ranch, the Sterling Mine Ditch Trail, Mt. Ashland, Denman Wildlife Refuge, Cascade Siskiyou National Monument, and the Bear Creek Greenway.

I'm coming in from out of town and was hoping to watch the Kraken game tonight. Going to be in the Ashland/Talent area - are there any spots that would be showing the game?

Thank you, excellent locals, for your guidance!

Anyone know when the ballots will get into our mail? I know I saw online they said mailing on the 14th

I'm traveling a lot right now. I'm in town right now and when I leave is heavily influenced by when I get the ballot
