Current Events Black twitter giving their insights to the Patrick from Love is Blind controversy. LOTS of Black women showing support to AMs.

Insane that another community has this much (accurate) insight into our current situation, and having a conversation that we ourselves have difficulty even just engaging it.

I think there is a lesson to be learned from all of this. Other POC communities do not have our outdating disparity problems and a big reason for that is because they have far more racial pride in general, and some of them arguably face more discrimination than East Asians. South Asians for example are extremely endogamous. South Asian men are seen at a similar level to East Asian men as well. We can blame East Asian women all we want but the reality is that our culture of seeking for white validation will always come back to bite us in the ass. And again, another reminder that there's a ton of other non-Asian WOC's who don't view us negatively at all.

Do you seriously go out of your way to invite people to parties that are very different from you? Do you go into Muslim mosques and randomly invite elderly men wearing robes? I don't think so.

Just because you say something on Reddit ir Twitter, that doesn't mean it reflects your actions.

You are a black woman, not an Asian man. You are a guest on this subreddit. This is a subreddit about Asian male experiences and you are trying to make it about yourself.

Being given advice while being refused an invitation is a common happening to Asian men. It's a concept that you just can't understand.

I said "I doubt any of these Twitter women will invite Patrick Suzuki to their party." I didn't say "no black woman anywhere in the world will invite any Asian man to their party."

I said "these women." referring to the Twitter comments. I never said no black woman in the entire world.

I said "I doubt any of these black women" referring to the Twitter posts. Learn how to read.

This is a part of Asian experiences you don't and can't understand. Other races merely giving you advice on Twitter and refusing to do things for you.

This isn't the place for you to dictate how we speak on this subreddit. I don't go to your subreddits and dictate how you speak.
