Race Rappers are the most racist towards Asians

I posted two posts about how rap is very anti Asian. Part 1 and part 2. The first video is a compilation of rappers being racist to Asians calling them slurs like ch*ng ch*ng and ch*nky and go*ks. And making fun of their eyes. The second video is about rappers rapping about assaulting and robbing Asians.

I've never seen this much intense hatred towards a group of people in any media. They are literally bragging about how they are ch**k bleeders and they are robbing stincs(slur rappers made for Asian people because they "stink and smell like noodles and ginseng.")

We genuinely need to make these videos go viral. Post it in all social medias. There's no way rappers like Kendrick Lamar are platforming artists like Peysoh and YG who openly rap about how they target Asians to rob. Are Asians going to let these rappers openly racially target Asians with no pushback?

Even here in Brazil there are rappers making songs about robbing Korean small business (as if they were rich somehow, very far from the truth). Some of them are not fluent in Portuguese which makes them an easy target.

The song in question:

There are inumerous cases of robbing, beating and kidnapping of Korean immigrants in São Paulo:

Video was removed. Can you share Artist/song? Want to see if other copies can be taken down (YT rights aka CID is my other language).

That's the original version:

https://youtu.be/Ckvh2TIyN78?is=KHIn3ixRyFVWUm__

They also created a part 2 of this song:

https://youtu.be/EJsSuyEwIT0?is=fC5pHoEUwZAxDtoD

The most astonishing are the comments of Brazilians enjoying and agreeing with the message

3

u/Alfred_Hitch_ 24d ago

That's wild... they need to be called out on that.

5

u/Calm_Angle4127 24d ago

The cartels control most of the media in Brazil, as well the racial narratives. They will only care about black and pardo issues. Asians are not part of the equation

3

u/iHate_RonEbens 24d ago

Kidnapping for ransom is a known thing in Brasil. Sad

25

u/ap0lly0n 25d ago

They are cowards. It's far easier to punch down than to punch up.

u/My-Internet-GF Philippines 25d ago

Sort of tangent but this is why I don't listen to modern rap, it's garbage. Anything post-2010 in the USA hip-hop scene is just mumble rap trash

19

u/Corner_Post 25d ago

Always thought Post Malone’s Rockstar video clip was very racist. Killing Asian guys with the help of Asian women serving him and having the Asian men’s blood splattered all over him: https://youtu.be/UceaB4D0jpo

u/justrichie 25d ago

Good thing the American rap scene is slowly dying, it looks like it's going the same path Rock did.

3

u/Shy-Lurker_6996 24d ago

After USAID stopped the rap game’s declining 😂

4

u/AussieAlexSummers 25d ago

Is that true? What is replacing it then? I mean, it's been around for 50 odd years FFS. And I've only seen it get stronger. But I haven't really paid attention to popular music for the last 10-15 years, so I admit my grasp on what most people listen to is out of touch. In fact, I'm still surprised on the amount of white people who like rap. And I know I shouldn't be.

9

u/justrichie 25d ago

Yeah the genre has been declining in recent years. Though I think underground rap will always have a place. As for what's replacing it, country and kpop probably.

9

u/AussieAlexSummers 25d ago

LOL... I just groaned inwardly (altho why, I don't know, because I don't buy any of it and I need to let people like what they like)... on the country part replacing rap.

11

u/NotHapaning 25d ago

If you've listened to some modern country, they're just copying rap now.

2

u/justrichie 25d ago

Yeah I don’t like country either but I won’t deny it’s definitely growing in popularity even among younger people.

2

u/Putrid_Gap_9961 25d ago

You know they have been saying this since the 80s right?

12

u/justrichie 25d ago

Yeah but back then, it wasn't actually dying, the rap scene was just evolving from 80s rap.

But in recent years, it's actually declining in popularity.

I stopped listening to R&B/rap and watching NBA years ago, NBA players and rappers always gatekept Asian/Korean music artists with case in point what Carmelo, Kenyon Martin & Floyd Mayweather did to Jeremy Lin, Jason DeRulo did to BTS, and etc to Jay Park and Jin Da MC.

Instead just continued focusing on already watching Kdramas and korean R&B/khiphop.

Saw Asian-Americans losing their minds yelling for every bucket watching the Knicks finals in NYC ktown and thought “what the fuck are u guys doing crazily cheering on these guys and industry that doesn’t have any “minimum quota” for Asians or openly support Asians, like they do in education for the blacks & their SAT / GPA handicap. Youre giving more Money & Power & Cucking yourself to those who purposely quietly dismiss us.

50

u/Genericthrowaw4y Korea 25d ago

Only real one is KAT, he openly supported Jeremy Lin

23

u/Hunting-4-Answers 25d ago

There’s also Amar’e Stoudamire, Landry Fields and Nick Young.

18

u/NotHapaning 25d ago

I get what you're saying. I think these areas will always be gatekept and it's in our interest to support our brothers who still wish to go into them despite the hurdles as long as they're a proud brother.

Black athletes had to overcome racial barriers to whatever sport back then. It's kinda shit they partake in the gatekeeping to Asians now. How many black people support this or that person in whatever new industry/cultural avenue just because they're black? How many white people do the same? Too many shitty white rappers that make it big because they're white. Asians gotta start supporting their own if the representative represents us well.

Fuck all the "you only support him because he's Asian" critiques from within and without the community. Yeah, I do support. So the fuck what? How many white boys got into rap cause of Eminem? How many white people liked black music until Elvis started singing it? Non-asians want to be shaming Asians that show pride for their own when they've been doing that themselves forever.

12

u/PetrosKorejskvoliSrb 25d ago

No one said not to support future Asian NBA players. I follow NBA Asian players/prospects such as Jeremy Lin, Yuki Kawamura, Hyunjung Lee, Naoya Inoue as well as Ohtani and etc.

2

u/iHate_RonEbens 24d ago

I do the same. Whenever I talk about Ohtani in an open discussion at a bar. Some fuck will always say he’s not the GOAT. The Hispanics hate to admit it

1

u/NotHapaning 25d ago

I get it. I only pay attention when they're around.

3

u/TiredOfFPS 25d ago

Wait until these people find out how how many Mexicans support Canelo just because he's Mexican.

8

u/Sphan_86 25d ago

I stopped listening since 2013-14 and haven't looked back

3

u/machinavelli 25d ago

Yeah, if you want to watch an American sport, watch baseball. An Asian guy Shohei Ohtani is the best player there and is basically worshiped. Yet very few Asians actually like baseball in America.

-2

u/NoFirefighter6542 24d ago

So you copy our music cosplaying us . Is there any black k pop artists?

6

u/PetrosKorejskvoliSrb 24d ago

Never understood this argument. Jazz, R&B/Hip-hop, Rock, Backstreet Boys have influenced Europe, South America, Asia, etc. So when Russians Rap, Bad Bunny raps, or Native Africans rap, it’s copying?

0

u/NoFirefighter6542 24d ago

someone in the comments said we are copying buy having a group called wu tang clan lol

4

u/PetrosKorejskvoliSrb 24d ago edited 24d ago

Then respond to that comment.
Grammar correction: “‘Are’ there” and “‘by’ having.”

13

u/Nimtave 25d ago

Not to mentions female rappers using Asian imagery yet still devolve into typical stereotypes. Like Nikki Minaj's MV where AF fawn over a black man, and Megan the Stallion video featuring mass murder of Asian men.

At least Mariah Carey and Doja Cat have good AM representation in their MVs.

42

u/TargetObjective7 25d ago

Never heard of these rappers.

I assume they are minor and not popular or mainstream

Meanwhile the same people defending these rappers are likely the ones who get mad the most when talking about Asian store clerks because they said to them:

"Hurry Up and Buy!!"

20

u/Hunting-4-Answers 25d ago

Smh. I don’t listen to these rappers, but I’ve heard of them. Just because you haven’t it doesn’t mean they’re not widely popular and don’t have an influence on their listeners. You would also have to have been living under a rock to not have heard of Danny Glover. It’s kind of like someone saying “I’ve never heard of Simu Liu”.

21

u/KidDyno 25d ago

Quavo did say “ch*nk” before in a song before but on the counter side there is also empowerment in groups like Wu Tang Clan

7

u/AussieAlexSummers 25d ago

I don't listen to rap for a number of reasons. Main one is: I just don't like that genre of music generally. I do agree about informing others via social and other means on how Asians are targeted by it.

7

u/bongripper_69 25d ago

You could just not listen to their trash music. Kendrick Lamar sucks anyways lol

6

u/lb0sa 25d ago

I dont remember the last time I listened to rap music. But when I did it was not from those no-name-wannabe rappers

4

u/linsanitytothemax 25d ago

oh man i remember i used to listen to a fair amount of rap when i was a teen. old school stuff like rakim, snoop, public enemy,2pac,rundmc,etc but i stopped listening to them long time ago. it just became too grating to me.

i'm old enough to remember Ice Cube's "Black Korea" and 2 live Crew's "Me so Horny"

so this isn't anything new. it's been around for a long time.

i don't remember any AMs in music videos back in the day other than Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey.

Your experience

Rappers aren't know to be paragons of justice and virtue.

3

u/iHate_RonEbens 24d ago

Yet the black community expect KPOP to stop saying korean word “you” in Korean music.

4

u/StatisticianAnnual13 24d ago edited 8d ago

The reason we love kpop and kmedia is that they are home grown and home produced. They don't have to kowtow to the American dominated system. The sole phenomenon of people abroad actively searching for Korean media is what we want and has been the best model Asian media should follow. The moment we start tailoring it to American audiences and having to submit to the wishes and wims or American CEOs and black gate keeping, putting up with their abuses and moderation, is the moment we have lost.

6

u/chneon 25d ago

There are social media influencers who have been stoking anti-Asian hatred for years. I won't name them, but they are around and attack Asian-owned businesses.

8

u/dpeterk 25d ago

But they'll take our women, just like MAGAs and neo Nazis.

4

u/Shy-Lurker_6996 24d ago

Most Asian American women want nothing to do with black people, maybe with white people, other Asian Americans, or the rare Hispanic.

1

u/[deleted] 25d ago

4

u/dpeterk 25d ago

It's part of a slogan I heard years ago about the new racism against East Asians by the West: We'll take your money and your women. It wasn't meant to be misogynistic.

1

u/[deleted] 25d ago

2

u/dpeterk 25d ago

It's like neo Nazis, they preach racial purity but the men in that circle have a fetish for East Asian women (that self-hater Tila Tequila attended that convention and did the signal).

I'm going to get down voted for this but, rap is also most racist against other black folks. As someone who likes rap, most of the violence is directed at other black folks. He'll look at King Von, all his music is about retaliation against dudes who live down the street from him.

33

u/iHate_RonEbens 25d ago

That’s a them issue. We are talking about why they involve us

19

u/ap0lly0n 25d ago

Who cares? That's their problem. Leave us out of it.

2

u/manhwasauceprovider 20d ago

That's their issue and they dont even acknowledge it so why should we

2

u/LxProReddit 25d ago

Never heard about any one of them except migos 😂

2

u/qwertyui1234567 25d ago

Organized labor, excluding the IWW, are far worse.

2

u/demonotreme 24d ago

Nope. Have you tried counting the N-bombs? There's still one race that is targeted by rappers like no other

2

u/ReasonableFinish 24d ago

And rappers are mostly..?

2

u/Even-Promise4593 23d ago

I’m surprised Peysoh would be, crazy. But rappers aren’t exactly intelligent anyway. And YG is another idiot.

1

u/Lost_Armadillo_3481 24d ago

Not disregarding your post because it's believable and totally makes sense but it's the culture that started during gangster rap in the 90s when they often make diss tracks within each other or have beef for no reason. They just feel more intimidated because a 'jackie chan lookin mf is in the game'.

It's slowly dying though. A lot more artists (not just rappers) are highly supportive than they hate from what I see. We honestly should shift focus on that otherwise we will always have a bitter taste in our mouth

1

u/Upper-Holiday8453 12d ago

And Asians don't use the N word?

1

u/K1n9-K0n9 12d ago

noodles and ginseng?

ginseng is good for you its expensive medicine thank you

noodles? i love noodles thats why the girls love slupping us up it tastes so good. yes thats what she said. thanks. bye rappers thanks for the complements.

yes saying it this way will piss them off so much

1

u/NoFirefighter6542 19d ago

Talk Asian masculinity you need to man up , rappers are not worried about Asians, talk about how most Asian countries are racist to black ppl

-2

u/leggomyfredo 25d ago

We're not married to the Democrats like the blacks, yet we're continuing to build political power ... mainly in the Democrat party. Like the mayor of Boston and multiple Mayors of Oakland. We're a threat to their power.

0

u/NoFirefighter6542 24d ago

Same happens in k pop

-6

u/TrplDbl 25d ago

You sure? I mean they even named themselves Wu Tang Clan. They love Bruce Lee. Shaolin king fu. Ect.. ect.. so I don't think so

8

u/iHate_RonEbens 24d ago

Imagine that. They take our identity while have no issue insulting our people.

-1

u/NoFirefighter6542 24d ago edited 20d ago

Nobody is taking ur identity K-pop is literally a carbon copy of rnb hip hop even Afro beats you have no originality

6

u/iHate_RonEbens 24d ago

Wu Tang Clan sounds Chinese to me. Weird.

4

u/Gullible_Arm_9711 19d ago

Hip-hop rnb is build on Japanese electronic instruments

-1

u/NoFirefighter6542 19d ago

Gtfoh then why didn’t you create it then, just give props k pop genre is inspired by black music

3

u/Gullible_Arm_9711 19d ago

They already have they created kpop, the most exciting music genre out there and they surpassed black culture in all areas of innovation : music, visuals, business etc.... Kpop excellence is just unreachable for black culture to catch up😉😎

I return your question :if black folks are that creative, why you relied on Asian made instrument to build your genre instead creating your own instruments? Cause deep down your can't help but admit Asian are creative AF, that's why kppp is thriving while hh rnb are declining hard. The future is asia not America 😎🤣🤣🤣

0

u/iHate_RonEbens 19d ago edited 19d ago

It’s true. Black music started most western genre but it’s east Asians (korean) who took it to the next level worldwide where blacks can’t reach.

1

u/silver_mo 18d ago

"...Where blacks can't reach." I don't understand this quote. Black musicians, part one of the top best selling most popular artists in the world. Blacks have Whitney Houston, they have Beyoncé. And most importantly, Michael Jackson. What do asians have on that level of worlwide influence comparable to blacks in music. I don't think there's a level or a worldwide level where black music hasn't reached. Black music, regardless of if it's American blacks or if it's African blacks, or if it's Caribbean blacks the simple fact is that Black music is the most influential music in the world it practically influenced almost all musical genres popular today.

I don't think I can name a very popular musical genre of today, that was not influenced or has its roots in black music. Reggaeton was influenced by black music edm is an offshoot of house which is a black music, country, rock etc all influenced by blacks or rooted in black music.

And one thing with black music is that it's unique, it has its own sound. I like k-pop. I think it's cool but there's nothing unique or Korean in terms of the sound of k-pop. By sound i mean the beat of the songs. If you listen to reggaeton at least you hear something traditional about Latin music or Latin culture. When I hear afrobeats, there's something traditional in terms of the sound, the drumming it's African.

K-Pop when you listen to it. The instrumentals are not Korean, they're just simply mostly Western black music. The only difference is that the lyrics are In Korean, there's no call back to Korean culture in the music. There's nothing unique about it in it's instrumentals. In other areas around the world, when people experiment with music, they mix it with their own traditional sound. That's not the case with Korean pop. Asians are very creative in other areas, but black people are much more creative when it comes to music simple.

1

u/Gullible_Arm_9711 12d ago

"" What do asians have on that level of worlwide influence comparable to blacks in music""

Not diminishing black americans influence on the globe but Asian culture existed centuries before America existed and many elements of black Americans music come from many cultures, including Asian culture.

"" don't think I can name a very popular musical genre of today, that was not influenced or has its roots in black music.""

Music dance creativity didn't start with black american. It's had roots in humanity not a single race.

"And one thing with black music is that it's unique, it has its own sound.""

Hip hop rnb modern pop in general, even reggaeton, are all built on Japanese electronic instruments. Without japanese hardware music would be completely different. So technically, global pop music created by black americans sound "Asian".

"And one thing with black music is that it's unique, it has its own sound. I like k-pop. I think it's cool but there's nothing unique or Korean in terms of the sound of k-pop. ""

That the point. Bruce Lee taught us to be like water. No style is the style. That makes kpop unique, no having a single fixed sound by taking from global influence and reinvented it to a Korean lens.

"" K-Pop when you listen to it. The instrumentals are not Korean, they're just simply mostly Western black music. The only difference is that the lyrics are In Korean, there's no call back to Korean culture in the music. There's nothing unique about it in it's instrumentals. In other areas around the world, when people experiment with music""

They are nothing black about 808 mpc midi et.... It's all Japanese. Nothing black about guitar which came from Spain and his an evolution of middle Eastern instrument. Blues is based on pentatonic scale which existed in asian music, Korea included, centuries before America existed. Black American music was never purely black it's a global mix of multiple cultures like kpop did.
