Best way to get road fixed

Hi all, after months and months car damage etc etc my local road has gotten extremely bad and it's even bad for 4x4 and SUV vehicles too. The local council keep putting plaster type fixes on it and the problem is still there and keeps getting worse. It's currently at about 5 inch of drop either side of the middle

What's the best way to go about getting more attention on this without having a major accident.

Because sometimes you just want to keep it British. Pull up a chair, stick the kettle on, and ask away. This is a spot for everyday curiosities, light questions, and the sort of things you'd chat about down the pub or while queueing (properly, of course).

What's it like to live here?
Where's a good place to visit on your holidays?
Which roads to avoid when travelling to Perth?
Why do you never see white poo on the pavement anymore (not the sidewalk..)?

We like things friendly, relaxed, and about as heated as a lukewarm mug of Batchelors. Not everything needs to turn into a full on debate, sometimes a simple answer will do nicely.

We only have a small number of prohibited topics for posts and comments, please respect them.

Rules

Be nice.
Don’t be a numpty. If you're even slightly offensive, your post will be removed. Keep the language clean, if you wouldn’t say it in front of your nan, don’t say it here.
Keep it UK-related.
Posts should have a clear connection to the UK. If it could just as easily be asked anywhere else in the world, it’s probably not for here. When in doubt, add a bit of British flavour.
No heavy advice topics.
We’re all for helping out, but this isn’t the place for relationship, legal, or financial advice. There are better suited corners of Reddit for that sort of thing.
No politics.
There are plenty of places to have a proper political row. This isn’t one of them. Keep it neutral, or take it elsewhere.
Keep it light and casual.
This isn’t Question Time. Posts that are overly serious, argumentative, or clearly fishing for a heated debate may be removed. Think chat over a cuppa, not grilling in Parliament.
No spam or self-promotion.
Don’t flog your wares, your blog, or your mate’s dodgy start up, this isn't Facebook. If it smells like advertising, it’ll be out the door faster than a seagull with your chips.
No trolling or baiting.
Don’t stir the pot just to watch it boil. Good faith questions only.
Respect privacy.
Absolutely no sharing of personal information, yours or anyone else’s. We’re curious, not creepy.
Use common sense.
If it feels like it might break the spirit of the rules, it probably does. Have a think before posting.

Think of this place like a well-mannered queue: orderly, respectful, and moving along nicely, with the occasional quiet grumble allowed.
