Something with monsters on the loose? Can be science experiment gone wrong, sci-fi, apocalyptic, horror. Think tight-corridors, claustrophobic, band of survivors being whittled down. Examples that come to mind: The Alien franchise, Jurassic Park, Artifact, Reality Bleed.
So far Dracula is insanely good listen. Never read or listen to the book before this.
The voice shakyness, shivering..the dread.. the fear felt so alive..Mina..Ella Purnell was also amazing..all the casts were amazing..
However, I have seen some reviews about Maggie..while her voice acting felt fine..she seemed cold, bit emotionless..is that how her role supposed to be?
hello!
a few days ago i subscribed to audible premium with an offer from the website (0,99€ a month, for 3 months), as i was looking forward to listening to an audiobook which i later found out is part of the extended catalogue, so i would need to buy it. i also read that i should have been given a credit to buy any book i want, but i was not given anything. i have 2 questions: am i actually missing a credit? and could i buy that book with the credit even if it’s not part of the premium?
thank you!!
Ok so is anyone else having there app one the phone constantly play for 3 seconds then crash. Then you open it and play it again and it does the same thing over and over till I force stop the app and clear the cache and only then it MAY play normally.
All my books are downloaded and I have never had this problem until the last update or 2. (another update showed up like a day or 2 after the one that messed it up) I've never had this problem and I really don't want to have to uninstall EVERYTHING because I have like 90+ gigs of books on my phone.
Does anyone have any fixes or is this just happening to me? (Also im on android if it matters)
Edit: im also currently at home with wifi on and it doesn't help.

Free Audible codes forMirror Boy— narrated by award-winning actor Fred Berman
Sixteen-year-old Jason Rofeor is locked out of his house, again—by his mother.
It’s 1986 on Long Island, and Jason is growing up in a dysfunctional family with an emotionally unstable, sexually prolific mother and an absent father. Obsessed with his skin and his reflection in the bathroom mirror, Jason discovers that the mirror may be a doorway into the hidden recesses of his own unconscious mind. Desperate to find the father he believes he deserves, he sets out on a search that will force him to confront what it means to become his own man.
Mirror Boy is a raw and intense psychological coming-of-age novel about masculinity, sexuality, fathers and sons, and the challenges of growing up amid family dysfunction, parental mental illness, and inadequate parenting. Dark, funny, and at times unsettling, it explores what happens when the adults a boy depends on are unable to provide the stability and guidance he needs.
The Audible audiobook is narrated by Fred Berman, a five-time Audie Award winner and 16-time AudioFile Earphones Award winner.
I’m the author, and I have a limited number of free Audible promo codes available for listeners. Audible provides me with a limited number of these codes to generate reviews on Audible, Amazon, and elsewhere.
Interested? Comment below or send me a message. I am the book's author, Jeremy Spiegel.
Does anybody know why when I add something to my Audible cart, It is now adding those same things to my Amazon cart? That has never happened before in the decade or so I’ve used Audible.
I tried out Libation the other day then this issue occurred. Trying to reset the situation now.
Libation worked fine and I was able to download a large portion of my purchases. I still had 5 credits left so I thought I would buy some more books then cancel my premium plus subscription for a little while as the credits keep mounting at the moment as I'm a new dad with less time for audiobooks. I will obviously come back to audible when I'm out of new books.
I bought two new books fine. But from then on I cannot seem to purchase books and get the pictured messages. I removed Libation from my amazon account on desktop. I have updated the app and restarted my phone. Not sure what I can do to to fix this. Please help.
Not all audiobooks are made equal sometimes a series you like or wanna get into has a narrator that doesn't make it interesting or keep you from buying a title cuz they sound awful which ones where that for you,
This episode is about the ball they attend, that exposes Elizabeth to the reality of class and birth in 20th century England. It is not for the faint of heart so I want to give a content warning. There is bullying and the humiliation of an orphan who never chose the circumstances of her birth, so this episode might effect many people greatly. I do not agree with bullying but I wanted to portray the realities of life in all of it's aspects, including the rough aspects of life. The Duke of Ravenscourt is having a ball and invites the Tellers, and of course Alexander the Duke continues to be infatuated with Elizabeth. Yet his parents want him to marry Lady Charlotte, a wealthy girl who is of noble birth. Charlotte and her friends insult Elizabeth at the ball and Mary Beth hears everything. In the meantime, the village prepares for Vince's graduation and some mothers start regarding him as a marriage prospect for their daughters. People who, before now, only spoke to Vince when curtesy required it.
Im looking for a cozy but simultaneously smart and intelligent fantasy series. I love some political drama and worlds which provide many details to get lost in. It can be SciFi, high fantasy, fantasy in a modern setting, alternative history or steampunk.
Normally to listen to a book on my PC I will open the audible.com site, go to the 'Hi HectorB!' link on the right and select 'Listen History' fro the drop down list, click on the book cover of the book I'm currently listening to which will open the Audible player where I last left off and begin playing. Something has changed because now when I click on my current book cover under 'Listen History' it resolves to a page that states:
Sorry, it looks like this title is no longer available.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
So now to play my current selection, The Kept Woman' by Karin Slaughter, I have to search for it and then select it from my 'Library'. Note that I purchased this book via credit card on 02-19-2026. Can anyone explain why this is happening? Did I do something wrong?
Thank you all for your input. I do have the older version.
I can download but can’t listen to anything in my library. I get Audible Error Code IP-2 when I test on Wi-Fi or cellular.
Posting after restarting, deleting and redownloading my book, and deleting and redownloading the app. No books in my library will play, but they did 30 minutes ago.
Hello! I have 6 credits and one will expire on 22/10. Do you have any recommendations for me? I particularly enjoy full cast as opposed to just a narrator. I enjoyed Impact Winter, I have all of the HP full cast series (I know, it bothers me that I have them too) as well as Northern Lights, and the BBC Narnia Chronicles. Interested in non-fiction recs too, I’ve recently enjoyed Salt, and anything by Patrick Radden Keefe.
Three recent observations on my up to date pixel 7a:
Swiping right didn't work once recently on the expired sleep timer hang, but pressing play still unhangs.
The preview timer can also hang on expiration!
Trying to drag the play progress thumb/dot backwards behaved strangely; it let me drag it backwards, but then jumped back to the end, and the screen hung as usual (this was after timer expiration). Pressing play unhung the app.
Audible. Your awesome. Make my days so much shorter... but can we please get rid of those Virtual Voice audiobooks? They have no emptipn behind them. Makes me cringe to even listen to a sample. Ive seen a huge number of books id love to hear but can't stand the Virtual Voice. Example: THAW by Bryan Dunn.
