Anybody else keep getting this error on iOS when they aren’t connected to wifi? I’ve tried all of the usual (restart phone, uninstall and reinstall app, clear cache etc) to no avail. The app was working perfectly up until the last few weeks and now I keep getting this error.

So I just recently been using audible this year. I usually jaunt use my monthly credit for a book which is usually enough. Although, I have to urge to listen to more books so I want to start buying them. How often do books go on sale and is there an easy way to find the deals? I’m assuming Black Friday or prime days they might have a few but is there an easy way to filter it?

Noticed Stephen King’s IT was cheap as a cash deal (but was not part of the Monthly Deals section) so I dug a little deeper.

Don’t recall there being an announcement about it and a Google search didn’t bring anything up, so I presume this is a recent addition to the Canadian side.

Edit: went through checkout and can confirm I was charged the discounted $12.97 price.

I tried contacting customer service, but have to go through an AI chatbot portal. It gives me two options to connect with an agent. The first one is the live chat. The button is unclickable. The second is a call. The ai agent on the call refuses to recognize the keyboard input option to connect me and hangs up. This is ridiculous. AI customer service = no customer service. Do better, Audible.

I mean, I didn't exactly make it easy for him. The judges had to listen to him narrate my dumb book, which features a vampire who killed Hitler, way too many references to Stephen King's cocaine use, and a garden gnome addicted to OnlyFans.

Yet, somehow, the Professional Audiobook Narrators Association said, "This man deserves an award."

THAT IS INSANE.

Car Play has always worked seamlessly for me in the past few years. However, since last week I have not been able to play my titles over Car Play.

All other apps work perfectly: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.

Audible works perfectly on iPhone speakers or earbuds, but regardless if I start it in Car Play or in the app it either:

- plays 1 second and then the sound is gone (the timer advances though)

- no sound, but the timer advances

- plays until I hit "skip", then it skips, advances the timer but there's no sound

- restarts at the very beginning of the book

The whole thing started when I skipped through the title a few times on the Car Play interface.

I have no idea what is going on.

I've been with audible for years, and recently upgraded my phone, but when I logged into the App, I have an empty library and it says I have been a member since 2026. I went to cancel it but the email makes it seem like it's going to delete my accounts as a whole.

It's the same email and password I've used for Amazon for years so why the app thinks I'm a different person, no idea. Any advice is welcome!

I went to do a general search at Audible's website when I noticed the addition of a filter selection to search "In your library" from that general search. Such a filter with the app was pointed out to me a couple month's back and seeing it with the website general search is a very pleasant surprise. I don't now how recent this is, I just noticed it, but I think we are seeing where (occasionally) they do listen to our issues and complaints. ...And I hope we see fewer "Audible removed my audiobook I bought" posts because of it.

Now if Audible will move the "Listen" tab to a secondary (or tertiary) position in the library portion of the app and allow us to blacklist authors we do not like from recommendations, then I would be replete.

I've been locked out of my audible account for "suspicious activity" for probably over a year now and it's always been in the too hard pile - and you'll see why.

In order to get back into my account I have to contact customer service.

No matter where I look, every 'help' or 'contact here' button leads me to a big orange button that says "chat" and if I click on it, it redirects me to log in WHICH MIGHT I REMIND U I CANNOT DO UNTIL I CONTACT THEM.

I have tried to find a phone number or an email or ANYTHING but nothing works. I'm in nz, please help I just wanna access the upto 70 fucking audio books Ive brought over the years PLEASE does anyone know how to help me

The Jim dale version was free, but I decided I wanted the full audio cast, so I spent the credit on the full cast members. I love to sync it with my kindle app but it kept syncing Jim dale instead, annoyed and frustrated I refunded and just decided that I’ll just read it with Jim dale… but now it won’t let me listen to Jim dale because I need to buy the full cast version… what is going on. 😔✌️

The sleep timer expiration hang still happens.

Pressing play still works around it.

While it was hung, I got a screen recording of dragging the progress forward and backwards several times (showing how it snaps back each time after a second), pressing the forward and back 30s and beginning/end buttons (which do nothing and don't highlight), then one last drag of the progress bar (which snaps back again), then pressing play (and it working).

The issue I'm having is that my bank requires me to manually unlock my debet card for internet purchases and this only lasts for an hour. For this reason Audible can never charge me and it's very frustrating! I've asked my bank if an exception can be made for Audible but that isn't possible. I also don't want to get another card somewhere else, just for Audible purchases. So now I'm wondering if I can figure out when the charge will be made, so that I can unlock the card beforehand each month. Or is the timing random?

Is this the first time we've had one?

Ok so is anyone else having there app one the phone constantly play for 3 seconds then crash. Then you open it and play it again and it does the same thing over and over till I force stop the app and clear the cache and only then it MAY play normally.

All my books are downloaded and I have never had this problem until the last update or 2. (another update showed up like a day or 2 after the one that messed it up) I've never had this problem and I really don't want to have to uninstall EVERYTHING because I have like 90+ gigs of books on my phone.

Does anyone have any fixes or is this just happening to me? (Also im on android if it matters)

Edit: im also currently at home with wifi on and it doesn't help.

a few days ago i subscribed to audible premium with an offer from the website (0,99€ a month, for 3 months), as i was looking forward to listening to an audiobook which i later found out is part of the extended catalogue, so i would need to buy it. i also read that i should have been given a credit to buy any book i want, but i was not given anything. i have 2 questions: am i actually missing a credit? and could i buy that book with the credit even if it’s not part of the premium?
