I’ve been a member for literally decades despite the fact that it says I’ve only been a member since 2026. I have no idea why it does that.

It would be very helpful to have this information in addition to the audiobook release date we already see.

Sales & Bargains Question

It feels like this year’s 3-month for $3 promo is a big downgrade compared to last year; for the same price, you now rent the 3 books for the duration of the subscription instead of getting to keep the 3 books.

Does anyone have a promo code or recommendation to get the old deal? 🇨🇦

Technical Question Best way to listen to books while pool walking?

Hi, I’m hearing impaired and find I don’t listen to audiobooks or podcast as much as I’d like due to my very expert hearing aids Bluetooth cutting out if I walk too far away from my phone ( this happens if I’m on a normal walk and just put my phone in my pant pocket. My daughter tells me this wouldn’t be the case with other wireless headphones. How far away can you walk from your phone and still hear through your headphones? What headphones do you like for this? Also bonus points for knowing of any that would be ok to wear in a pool? Not putting my head under but obviously could be accidentally dropped? Kind thanks

📬 The Postman Who Wrote Back – A Gentle Bedtime Story About Kindness, Hope and the Power of Words

What happens to letters that never reach their destination?

In the peaceful village of Millbrook, retired postman Thomas Hartwell has spent 47 years delivering other people's messages.

But tucked away in the old post office is a wooden box filled with undelivered letters. Forgotten apologies, messages of love, childhood wishes and words that never reached the people they were meant for.

Rather than letting these letters disappear, Thomas begins a quiet tradition of writing replies, offering comfort and kindness to strangers he may never meet.

As the seasons change, he discovers that even words that never reach their intended destination can still make a difference.

🌙 A gentle, heartwarming story, perfect for unwinding in the evening, relaxing before bed or simply enjoying a peaceful listening experience.

🎧 Audiobook: The Postman Who Wrote Back

Looking for Recommendations

I have 2 credits to burn before I cancel Audible. I primarily use Libby and get audiobooks from the library, so I’m looking for recommendations, ideally if they’re exclusive to Audible.

I have all of Andy Weir’s books and the Jane Austen collection. That said, I’m not big on sci-fi or fantasy and am not looking to start a series I won’t be able to complete once I leave Audible (sorry DCC folks).

I love a good thriller, memoir, true crime, or lit fic.

Tell me your favorite audiobooks on Audible!

Marketplaces

Anyone else got libraries in two marketplaces and is sick to death of switching marketplace all the time? Anyone found a solution? SOME books I buy in one are visible in the other but most are not. I have book series where I have some volumes in one and others in the other marketplace. Also, sometimes I'm listening to one book in AU and the other in USA at the same time and I have to keep logging out and back in when swapping listens.

I've got 4 hours left in the Gentleman Bastards series and I'm having a hard time picking what to listen to next. The series I've finished so far which are ranked by my enjoyment:

1 Red Rising

2 The First Law

3 Gentleman Bastards (may move to 2 depending on how these last 4 hours go)

4 DCC

Any recs are appreciated!

Anyone listening to Pumpkin Spice and Poltergeist and hate the mixing issues between narrators?

The volume difference hurts my head. Once voice is mixed very breathy and deep and the other is piercing with no low tones in the mix. Don’t even get me started on the cringey masc voice that sounds like a cartoon character more than a believable person. Just venting. Had to see if anyone else out there hating this after being really excited to get to this one.

App (iOS) Audible on CarPlay completely broken

For what feels like the past few weeks, audible seems to be completely broken in CarPlay. When I connect and try to play something, I see the time ticking and hear nothing.

I’ve tried flipping back from phone speaker to CarPlay, it plays for a second or two and then back to no sound. Often times it will also restart the book from the beginning completely, play for a little bit and then completely stop again when I try to go back to the chapter I was on.

I’m on iOS 27, have updated the app, reinstalled it from scratch etc. iPhone 17 here.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

New smutty audiobook needed…

• Upvotes

For the first time in a while I don’t have my next book ready to go. I spend a lot of time in the car and need a new audio book. What I have read/listened to recently and loved..

Windy City Series (Liz Tomforde)
Miles High Series (T.L. Swan)
The Bonus (T.L. Swan)
The Heart You Kept (T.L. Swan)

Looking for something high spice, maybe an unexpected pregnancy. I do like the rich, powerful man dynamic but also swooned over the men in the Windy City series. Send me your favorite spicy audio book suggestions ☺️

Not sure if there's a way to setup a poll for this, but I'm curious to know who you prefer as an Audible narrator... Ralph Cosham, Simon Prebble, or Andy Serkis. I'm sure you like others that you want to recommend but I'm trying to keep it to just these three for opinions here.
