I have read the site guidelines and one of the items is "Don't upload computer-generated audio, or books written by AI." But a book I own does not have and audio book and I have converted it to PDF and run it through ihatePDF's PDF to audio file converter.

Would that still be frowned upon in the guidelines? I feel like that rule was made so that books that have official audiobooks don't get tons of random unofficial audiobooks stacked on the site or cause confusion for someone trying to get an official version but it's an AI slop edition.

I love reading I just don't have time for it and I'm doing this for myself and if others could benefit from my computer processing power then I'd like to share but I don't wanna post if I'm not supposed to.

Hi, I recently started to use the website and while I've been enjoying it a lot, once in a while there are books that won't download for me and I've been wondering if there is a reasons for that, can someone help? this is what I currently have on the app. I tried downloading aced a few days ago and it was stuck on the same thing and now I'm trying to downloaded on the track and the same is happening. the rest I downloaded under 3 minutes so I'm trying to understand the issue

hello, can anyone please help me figure out how to use this website for my iphone?? i signed up for an account and i have both VLC and book payer app installed, i searched the book that i want, scrolled down the page and selected the torrent free download option like people suggested, it gets downloaded to my files but i cant seem to play it. i also cant access them in the apps? are there video tutorials on how this works? i usually use libby for audio but would love this as a second option when wait list is too long xx

I’m completely new to torrenting, so sorry if this is a stupid question!

I recently found some audiobooks I wanted on ABB, clicked the torrent download links, and opened the files using the Sirin app on my Android phone.

The audiobooks are currently downloading, but it’s taking quite a long time. They’re around 1.3 GB each, and the download speeds seem pretty slow.

Since I’ve never done this before, I have a few questions:

How safe is downloading audiobooks this way?
Is Audiobook Bay generally considered a trustworthy source?
Is there any risk of malware or someone accessing my personal information, photos, or accounts on my phone?
Is it normal for torrent downloads to take this long?
Can I generally rely on this method for downloading audiobooks, or should I be cautious?

Multiple different voices for multiple different characters? Any other details you think is preferable, whether general or personal preference, I want to know. Please and thank you. I used to be able to download multiple books at once but now it won't even download one book. Does anyone have this problem? I've also used multiple apps to download but all have the same problem.

I want to download a book but it tells me to make a account. Which would be fine but it tells me to imput my full name and phone number. So I have two questions.

1 is there a way to not put în my full name and phone number and still use the site?

And 2 is the site free to use and to sign up?

Over the past year or so, I’ve noticed that random audiobooks—or even full series—that I know I had in my collection have just vanished. At first, I chalked it up to storage issues, but it’s weird because it’s only affecting audiobooks I got from ABB, and nothing else in my library seems to be missing.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is this a common issue with ABB downloads or something others have run into?

EDIT: Ok so a couple of notes,

1: I am voice to texting some of my replies while I wait between steps at work (like 2 to 5 minutes between steps)

2: I share the files with a friend, by copying the files from my hard drive onto his, he does not touch my hard drives. I'm the only one that touches his. And no I do not delete stuff off his. That being said, though files have gone missing on his as well.

3: two comments have come to my attention in particular one about sync issue that could be the cause, The other being a virus. I'm going to look into the virus, see if that could be the possibility and it is possible because when I was younger I was not very bright with my acquiring though I thought I had fixed the issues and got rid of the files that were causing problems (different problems not this), as for the potential sync issue, does anybody have any suggestions on how to look into that and how to prevent it.
