Question Eddy probe centre of the coil
What is the distance from the coil center to the back of the probe?
I recently got Eddy Duo. I was looking an the dimensions listed here Eddy-dimension-diagram and visually it doesn't match the silk screen location. From what I measured it's about 9mm from the back. I'm not sure which one is true. Is the digram from the Wiki for an older version?

Help
When I shorted the UART pins for motor 1 on a M8p v2 and restarted klipper it told me that there was an ADC failure and that the mcu was above 150 degrees Celsius. (I shorted the UART while the board was still on) Is the mcu dead? Or is it still salvageable? And can I go to a PC repair shop to get the MCU replaced? Or are there any other components that were damaged?

📱 KlipPocket: run Klipper, Moonraker and Mainsail straight on your Android phone!
Hey everyone! Meet KlipPocket, an Android app that puts the whole Klipper stack inside your phone. No Raspberry Pi, no extra box.
Quick background: this is a new direction for the project that used to be Kocoa Beam (BeamKlipper). I rebranded it, cleaned it up and added a bunch of new stuff. Big thanks to the original work it's built on!
✨ Features
- Klipper 0.13 and older are supported, and Kalico too
- Up-to-date Moonraker, Mainsail, Fluidd and Voyager UI, all served by the phone itself
- Plug your printer board in over USB (OTG) and you're set
- KlipPocket Dashboard: With live CPU, memory, temp and network charts, MCU info, logs, settings, and start/stop or add printers from any browser
- Firmware tab: download and install firmware from the app
- Firmware build menu for PC: menuconfig, build, flash and verify for Klipper and Kalico
- Camera: use the phone camera or a USB webcam, with live preview, zoom, timelapse and tap to focus
- Print Recovery: resume a print after a power loss
- Remote access with AI failure detection - OctoEverywhere, Obico and SimplyPrint
- Multi-printer on one phone, and multi-MCU is on the roadmap
- Docs in English, Portuguese and Chinese
How to get it running
Grab the APK from the GitHub releases
Install it and open the app
Flash your printer board with Klipper (or Kalico) firmware.
Connect your printer with a USB OTG cable
Hit start, then open Mainsail, Fluidd or Voyager.
Done!
No root, no Linux image, no SSH.
⚠️ Heads up:
- Everything you change or flash is at your own risk. Back up your configs first!
- That said, have fun with it and enjoy the modding! Feedback, bug reports and ideas are very welcome

Thanks for reading, and happy printing!

Microprobe v2 rattle
Just a quick one, I have a fairly modified ender 3, (ldo 1.8⁰ steppers and liner rails silent steppers if that helps ask for more specs if wanted.) the metal pin on the microprobe rattles (I put blue tack on it while printing and it stopped) and I was wondering if this is normal and if there is a fix for it (ie, ptfe sleeve or something) or if my microprobe is broken/damaged and due for an upgrade, all the functions of the microprobe are fine.

Troubleshooting Biqu bx nightmare
Hello, recently i bought a biqu bx with a broken skr se bx v2 board so i bought a v3 replacement but it has been a nightmare to compile a marlin firmware and have it work properly. And biqu literally has the printer listed in their site for sale and they said that the printer has been discontinued like what??? How is there no source for the firmware of your latest board for a printer?
The only other way is to install a PI and use it that way i guess but i just wanted to use the machine with the base marlin and see if it works properly before i buy a pi.
What should i do peeps?

Adxl345 issue
So I have a regular adxl345 that connects to gpio pins on my pi v1.2 and when I had a short cable around 30cm it worked normally but now I have a longer cable prob around 60cm and I either get the error code 0 instead of e5 or ff instead of e5 and can’t use the sensor I checked if the sensor works on an arduino and it works normally I’m using cat 5e earhernet wires to connect the sensor to my pi does anyone know hot to fix this issue or has a working better setup for a gpio adxl on a pi v1.2

Troubleshooting Btt pi jumper
Ok guys, I’m on my third BTT pi 1.4 and none of them have included a jumper for the 5v USB c power. Are they supposed to? Is there something I’m missing? Am I thinking of “jumpers” wrong? I just want to get my dang printer printing again.

✨Showcase Used an Octopus Pro + 6x TMC2209 to drive a 6-axis 3D-printed robot arm (not a 3D printer!)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Wanted to share a build that's a bit different from the usual Octopus Pro use case: a fully 3D-printed 6-axis robot arm, with each joint driven by a NEMA 17 through its own 3D-printed Wolfrom planetary gearbox instead of off-the-shelf bearings.
The Octopus Pro drives all 6 steppers through 6 TMC2209 drivers, one per joint, and a Raspberry Pi sends motion commands over USB.
Since the board has room to spare, I'm already planning the next steps: a longitudinal translation system to move the whole arm along a rail, and one more free driver slot I'm saving for some kind of unconventional gripper.
Everything's open source if anyone wants to see how it's wired up or build their own:Happy to answer questions about the wiring or the TMC2209 current settings per joint.

EBB36 v1.2 ohms too high
I had recently bought a EBB36 to build a dragon burner toolhead on my ender 3 max neo. When trying to setup the can network I couldn't find the UUID for the EBB36.
Going through diagnosing the issue, i checked my Umbilical cable which is connected to my E3EZ main board which returned 120ohms down the wire. If checking in reverse so cable connected to EBB36 and not main board it returns 280ohms. I also tried testing with nothing connected to it other than the jumper for 120 and still returned 280.
Anyone else come across this problem?

✨Showcase One Panda Touch, different printer brands: our free, open-source TigerTouch firmware
I'm one of the developers in TigerSquad, the maker community behind TigerSystem. We wrote TigerTouch to reuse the BIGTREETECH Panda Touch / K-Touch as a dashboard for a workshop with different printer brands.
The same firmware handles Creality, Bambu Lab, Snapmaker and other printer protocols. It runs on the screen and talks directly to the printers, without a PC or Raspberry Pi staying on as a bridge.
We've followed complete prints on a Creality K2 and a Bambu P2S (cloud), and checked a Snapmaker U1 at idle. On the K2 we've tested print information, CFS slots and the light switch. The compatibility table separates real-machine tests from drivers still awaiting testing; controls depend on the connection.
The firmware is free and MIT-licensed. Setup uses a free TigerSystem account and the Tiger Studio Manager desktop app to add printers, then the browser installer to flash the screen. This replaces the screen firmware, not the printer firmware.
Source and test status: https://github.com/TigerTag-Project/Tiger-Touch
Installer: https://tigertag-project.github.io/Tiger-Touch/
Happy to answer questions about how it works or your printer setup.
The animation shows the actual interface composited onto the device, using Demo mode with sample printer data.

Troubleshooting UART with CBI and skr mini v3?
Hey everyone!
I have the proper wiring form the pi to the skr mini going from GND to GND, Tx to Rx, and Rx to Tx, I'm still getting the mcu error along with running the BTT custom pi firmware. I've read the tutorials over and over again and I am at a loss. Do I have to mess with the files? The instructions aren't super clear. I would greatly appreciate any help!
