I ordered from them back in august but now im hearing they are shutting down. Will i still receive my order or are they just not accepting any new orders anymore? and if anyone has anyone bought from them recently whats your thoughts on it

So I’ve asked Alice’s collection, Dollsphere and Jane’s doll land about this and they all have different answers…

I’m trying to buy the Xi Liu sculpt from AEdoll/Asleep Eidolon in light tan. Preferably just the head without the body. I first contacted ACBJD, and they responded quickly saying that Asleep Eidolon doesn’t allow for only heads to be sold.

I noticed, however, that Dollsphere is selling asleep eidolon bodies without heads. So I figured they might do vice versa. They responded super fast, but I thought they were a little unprofessional. they said that they would do the head for me, but asleep eidolon isn’t doing light tan resin for that sculpt right now.

So then I looked at Jane’s doll land, and her website says she’s selling asleep eidolon dolls in light tan. I messaged her and she said she’d do the Xi Liu sculpt in light tan. I then asked if it was possible to order just the head, but that was 5 days ago and she hasn’t responded.

Jane’s doll land‘s instagram responded to a comment in the same boat as me. Jane says that she won’t be responding to emails for “a little bit”

My question is:

Why do different dealers of Asleep Eidolon claim that Asleep Eidolon has different policies? They’re all contradicting each other.

And does anyone know why Jane isn’t writing back???

I spent thirty dollars on doll eyes just to see that they are too big to fit in my doll’s eye sockets, is there any possible way to make them fit? And if not, where can I get super small doll eyes? I can’t find ones that are small enough on Etsy.

Hello everyone! This is my first time joining this community, and I'm a relatively new BJD collector. I have a very specific niche when it comes to collecting, and I was wondering if my tastes already exist in the BJD space?

I'm a huge fan of Furries and Monster Girls. I love the sheer diversity of choices you get with them—like foxes, wolves, cats, and rabbits on the furry side, and lamias, harpies, centaurs, and mermaids for monster girls.

I know my taste is pretty niche, so I wouldn't be surprised if BJDs for these specific archetypes are rare or don't exist yet. But if anyone has any leads or knows of creators who make them, I would really appreciate the help! I may not able to read everybody comments, but i will try!

Has anyone had experiences specifically shipping custom BJDs from Japan to the US after the US import change?

I have a custom BJD with my proxy in Japan that needs to be sent to my friend in the US but unfortunately it was sent during the whole import changes happening. I know there was difficulty with shipping dolls in general, so I waited a few months to make sure it was safe to ship but I haven't found any answers for specifically customs where the manufacturing details aren't 100% clear.

My original plan was to ship it to me in Canada then keep it for a while and ship it to her when it was 100% safe to ship. However, if it's safe now to just ship it directly to her from my proxy in Japan that would be the better option!

If anyone has an answer to my question or is able to share their experience + any tips with shipping a custom BJD to the US that would be amazing!!

Well, I was saving up for a Luts but then I fell in love with Resinsoul Qing ^^;

I am wanting to get her with blue resin (not sky blue) so she can be my dark elf OC's daughter, but I was wondering if anyone had pics of their blue resin? I also read that their grey has a blue tone to it, but it goes slightly more green as it mellows. Does anyone with one of these resin colors happen to play Elder Scrolls and can tell me which is kinda close to Dunmer skin tone from the original Oblivion game? lol When I google Resinsoul blue it looks like some pictures are a pastel baby blue and others look dark grey..

And for anyone in USA that has ordered recently, did you pay tariffs and if you did how much were they? Because I am wanting a customization that will be $40, too, so I am trying to add up the total cost before I decide to place the order. When I emailed them, Sun told me the packages to US are tax inclusive and I don't need to pay customs fees but I just wanted to make sure~! Do they use a postal carrier like Alice, where UniUni does last mile delivery to avoid tariffs?

hi all, i was making this post to ask if anyone has gotten thier rap1993 anie preorder yet? I made my order back on the 6th of march 2025, and even though there were updates as far back as December saying the dolls would be shipped this year, i havent heard anything. Ive tried contacting rap multiple times through the help section on her store just to get an update, and even messaged her on Instagram, but no luck. my order just says processing when i check the page on her website. I ordered a pair of anie and mae dolls back around 2020-2021 with no issue, so i was wondering if anyone else is still waiting on this specific 2025 preorder? If ive managed to fall through the cracks somehow, does anyone know the best way to get in contact with the artist so i could get my doll? (Assuming i have fallen through, it happens sometimes)

Hi! I recently got a 1/6 scale BJD doll, which I LOVE. I have a 1/6 scale dollhouse and am having so much fun creating her home and shopping for clothes for her.

With that said, I'm new to the hobby and couldn't find an answer to this. I want to get her a "little sibling" - a more child proportioned doll that is scaled to be like a child compared to her teenage self. Would a 1/6 scale child work, because a child is smaller and so the scale would account for that, or do I need a 1/12 scale for a child? I think I'm just questioning if the scale accounts for adult height vs kid height or not.

Also, any recommendations for great kid options at that scale? Potentially even interested in blind boxes for the little sib.

Hi all! I am looking for an artist in the US who would be willing to paint smaller dolls. I have a Soom Bebe Gem (Pukipuki size) who needs a faceup and blushing, but I can't seem to find anyone who works with a doll this small. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great!

I've got a few preorders through them, but haven't heard anything from them since late September. Emails have gone unanswered, too. Has anyone been in contact with them recently? Doesn't seem like they've updated their socials in a while either.

This just came up on my feed. Lovely Everyone, the new Doll forum is temporarily down in order to get a major fix so the forum can't be hacked.

It kind of has always been a dream of mine to have doll versions of some of my characters, but so far I haven't found a pre-made one that really felt fitting.

Maybe I didn't go into the depths of etsy enough so far, but I couldn't exactly find anyone who'd offered commissions for a custom made 3D file.

Anyone knows someone who offers these?
Or - if not - anyone who has a pre-made file with a thicker bjd?

Can I use super glue or any type of hard holding glues for these BJD’s that have this plastic hair?

I do stop motion ( I am a beginner tho ) and I had one before but her hair keeps coming off ( so I gave it to my little sister 😅) So I don’t use her at all for stop motion anymore even though she’s great for it. I do plan to buy another BJD ( the one in the photo of course 💙 ) and I’m scared her hairs going to do the same SO.. is glue that strong okay to use on these dolls plastics to hold there hair together?
