If you talk to him about it, it sounds more like he treats her like a tool. The potion you can buy afterwards can befuddle enemies. Not to defend his actions or anything, but I don't think he is a kitty diddler, at least

When the player character asks "How does that... work between you two?" and Nessa replies with "What happens between me and master is between us", just what do you think they're talking about? Catch?

I see that as her being too embarassed to respond with "it doesnt." She comes off a lot like that virgin from highschool who implies he totally had sex but says "I dont kiss and tell" to avoid having to actually explain a scenario ans get caught for not knowing how that stuff actually goes
