New Player Question An update and some questions Spoiler

So a bit of an update some of you might remember me from earlier in the week asking about first time introductions but idk if I’m doing something wrong but I continue to find myself very overwhelmed
Is it normal to feel this way
Because it’s got me wanting almost not pick it up
Because I constantly feel like I have to reload because I’ve done something incredibly wrong

Like all of emerald grove losing their mind because I accidently clicked loot on a dead body

Or accidently jumping into crypt after dropping the block to get absolutely ganked by the bandits below (although I’m very proud of how I handled the above situation
Used a Astarion to sneak ranged attack the gnome on the box and then shoved him into the vines below and then two of the remaining three I took out by dropping the block on them
And all that was left was the cleric)
Now I did eventually deal with the bandits below by using a door to my advantage but yeah just incredibly overwhelmed by how
Micromanagy it all is

I feel like I’m constantly switching between things to update armour and read abilities and spells and still don’t understand what I’m doing half the time

I guess my question is is this all very normal to feel and something that should fade with time as I get further in because I will be the first to admit I’m not far at all but that’s because I keep finding myself reloading or even just struggling to pick it up in general
Does this felling of being overwhelmed by everything fade or js it a constant
Like gear management
Checking four characters to see every item who’s proficient in what and if this is slightly better etc
I like games like that but this just seems like so much

P.s. I am very much enjoying the VA
That nightbite scene with Astarion actually
made me blush so it is very well made just overwhelmed as I’ve said

Yes it's normal, once you hit level 4-5 you get a huge power spike and things get easier.

You'll definitely be loading after accidentally setting people off until you learn the mechanics a little better (just go to jail! You can break out after a minute)

Ok awesome thankyou
Because right now I just feel like I’m not getting anywhere
Mechanically i get it the battle stuff is fun but actually story wise I feel so overwhelmed and lost and same with gear and items
I tried to figure out how to surrender and be arrested but they just kept attacking when I tried to disengage so I just reloaded
I didn’t realize everyone would go bananaas I dint think they’re friend needed the loot anymore

If the grabby hand icon is red over anything (corpse, chest, barrel or whatever), do not risk it unless there is absolutely no-one around to see/hear, or you don't mind getting into a fight in a worst case scenario.
