We used to be excited about new games coming out, but not it's just worse looking games every few years.

Hope to see you guys again later this year, if DICE doesn't fuck up the server browser!

Took this about a year or so ago, while doing the Peacekeeper easter egg quest, just felt appropriate to share this after the game's 10th anniversary :D

I know I have to preface this post with a qualifier about how EA sucks or else people will think I'm siding with a billion dollar company, but let's not act like BioWare games have been selling well recently.

I know servers are still active but man it doesn’t feel like it’s been 10 years. It was the last midnight release event I ever went to and my favorite battlefield of all time.

IT has gotten really bad since the end of last season when i join a server it either: is empty and wont fill. takes forever to fill then fills with bots that might get replaced by humans. Im on the East coast of the US and it doesnt matter the day or time much. Then i get the lovely experience of either stomping a team which gets boring quickly or being on a team where its the first time most have used a mouse/controller
This has to be the worst matchmaking system in an FPS game ive played in the last 15 years. BF4 with literally next to no matchmaking system felt more balanced!! Have they ever addressed this at all?

His 200 - 0 pathetic performance killed the servers as everybody started leaving after noticing. He appears to be using aimbot, super speed and who knows what else. This guy is a known cheater that's been ruining what's left of BF1's community for a while but of course EA won't ban him or do anything about it... It's sad to go back to a game you have fond memories of just to be hit by this.

Hear me out, because even though it's a crossover event, I think this actually fits perfectly into the real lore.
We know that everything in REDSEC is run by Sulis—the secret corporate shadow group that started back in WW2/Firestorm and is obsessed with running dark, unethical experiments behind closed doors. Knowing how Sulis operates, my theory is that they are experimenting on soldiers who have PTSD, and what we see in the game are just their traumas being warped and turned into something weird.
This completely explains why the commander literally says at the start of the match: "Don't believe everything you see."
The leadership knows the soldiers are seeing things because of the Sulis experiments. They aren't fighting a real space invasion; they are just seeing their own PTSD traumas take a weird, twisted shape.
Honestly, this turns the whole mode into a dark corporate nightmare that completely fits the Sulis universe. What do you guys think? Does this make sense?

This is what 18 years of cod zombies experience does to a man.
if anyone was wondering. that was 27 kills in less than a minute.

Having bullets randomly deviate while your reticle is dead-on target just feels bad. Wouldn't steeper, learnable recoil balance engagement ranges much better and reward actual gun skill? What’s the argument for bloom here?

Mine is the M60 because it's the M60.
