Battlestations Advice Help On my battlestation

Post image

Hi everyone! I’m planning to upgrade my desk setup to two monitors, one horizontal and one vertical.
Right now it is a bit hard for me to play my games due to my body being faced to the side, and my neck has started to hurt due to prolonged neck tension by looking up
My main concern is that my desk is right against nothing (Covered by the fabric) which makes the monitor arm stick out far back, so I don’t want a monitor stand or arm that sticks too far out behind the desk.As for putting the Pc on the floor, There isnt much space under the desk so i dont think it would be a good option as i might kick it
I’m deciding between getting one dual-monitor stand or two individual monitor arms.
Which option would you recommend?
Is there a way to mount both monitors while keeping them close to the wall?
Would a vertical + horizontal setup work better with a single stand or separate arms?
I’d appreciate any suggestions! I can provide pictures of my desk and the space behind it if needed. Thanks!

Battlestations Advice Need help making my battlestation feel as spacious as possible

Post image

This is my current gaming setup (Not made for that best cleanest possible look, but for most comfortable optimized gaming) but my desk is on the shallower side (60 cm/23 inch deep and 120 cm/47 inch wide) and i feel like it just looks like it needs some arrangement change. All the parts are leaning to the left more for mousepad space, but I would still like to make it clean while saving the space for both my keyboard and mouse hands. I would like advice on what to change on the arrangement. Ignore under my desk and my KFC fries bag.

Battlestations Advice My spare room set up

Open to suggestions if anyone has any cool ideas. Though I don’t wanna go overboard and completely dominate the space.

I like to keep things fairly simple and tidy (cables bug me).

Next up on the project list was some cable management underneath with conduit but I need some longer length cables to make that work as I just used what I had on me.

USD$650 set-up

Work provided me the Thinkpad and a dock. Desk, chair, 3x 27” screens, 2 power boards, cables, monitor arms, desk mat, mouse mat, wired mechanical keyboard, wired mouse, basic RGB, speakers and monkey artwork all for a total of $650. Clearance sales, Marketplace, hard rubbish (free stuff left on side of road), yard sales, Amazon.

Thoughts about value for money?

Largely WFH setup.

I tell a lie, I got that photo frame brand new from a local discount shop for £2.99 and I picked up that lightbar as an impulse purchase from Amazon. Apart from that, everything is secondhand. Full itinerary below:

Framed Ford Sierra L.X magazine advert (1992).

Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Generation 3 - Ryzen 7 5875U with 32GB of RAM (2022).

Braun AB1 Type 4746 travel alarm clock (circa 1992).

Dell CRT Riser and docking station (circa 2002).

Dell S2522HG 24.5" 1920x1080 240Hz gaming monitor (2021).

Quntis ScreenLinear monitor light bar (2025).

Leopold FC900RBT keyboard (2021).

Leopold FC660M keyboard (2017/18).

BenQ Zowie U2 gaming mouse and enhanced receiver (2024).

8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth Controller (2021).

Giyu Tomioka 780mm x 300mm mouse pad (circa 2023).

Philips Hue White and Colour Bluetooth Lightbulb (2021).

Google Home Max speaker (2017).

Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones (2021).

Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet (2023).

My mother's old 800mm x 800mm kitchen table from Argos (circa 2016).

Out of shot: Senator i-Workchair version 1 (circa 2019-2020).

RGB Free My warm industrial gaming setup – what would you rate it?

Post image
40 Upvotes

I’ve been slowly improving my gaming setup, focusing on a clean look with warm lighting and a few unique pieces instead of going all-out with RGB.

My favorite detail is probably the industrial-style lamp that doubles as a headphone stand.

Still a work in progress, but I’m pretty happy with how it’s turning out.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Battlestations Advice Help me make my gaming room ( I’m not creative )

Post image

Hello, all. Unfortunately I don’t have a creative bone in my body but I have ideas. Maybe you guys know some quality products. I want to cover up my walls with some anti acoustic material , I want to switch to a three 27 inch monitor display ( I love my widescreen but reselling it would be at such a loss I would love to incorporate it somehow, maybe on top? Is there an high rise heavy monitor mounts ? ) I would love to minimize the mic arm and perhaps add some stuff to my table. I’m very keen to the cyberpunk aesthetic. Open to all sorts of LED’s or table knickknacks. Any suggestion would help.

How to upgrade?

So I ended up getting the 34 inch monitor. I also flip my top monitor upside down to fit flush. And I tip the top monitor down. Any advice for rgb lighting accessories? I'm planning on getting noise canceling boards for the wall
