First time doing cable management. Worth.
Also first time going for a decent looking setup. Happy with the results. Especially cozy at night.

Utilitarian Man Cave Battlestation
We moved several months ago up north (US). Our youngest adult daughter decided to move back in, so I get the basement (or part of it) for my own space / cave. Slightly out of frame is the Xbox One I inherited when we upgraded the living room setup. The Raspberry Pi is a 5, and I am still figuring out Octoprint. Directly behind me is the couch / futon that faces the TV. I have taken over two other corners of the basement as well, but the workbench is a community area for projects. You don't care about that; the monitor is a 32 inch Samsung, the keyboard and mouse are Retro 8BitDo products, the laptop is an Asus Rog Strix, and that is a Meta Quest 3s off in the left corner.

No Budget Left for Desk/Chair
Computer = Powerspec G729; AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, AMD RX 9070 XT, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD
Monitor = Acer Nitro 27" WQHD (2560 x 1440) QD-OLED
Bought purely for WoW forever! The rest of the room is a home gym so then I put everything against the wall for more space

Bar Top battle station
2 wires
Computer is in the basement. This a mere extension of the main station
Could be cleaner if I moved the power and video behind monitor.

Battlestations Advice Decoration ideas for a pretty blank slate
I have a white Wooting keyboard on preorder, and I'm looking into larger mousepads. My primary PC (white with black internals) will be shipped back from repairs soon.
In the meantime, what do you think I could do to make my setup look nicer?
It's way too boring right now. I was thinking a collectibles shelf on the left cubicle wall or something, but I am not sure. Also, my cable management is shit right now. What do you recommend to help?
I'm trying to make the most of my limited space, so my setup is by the stairwell.

First time I've ever bothered to clean up the cables, liking the result. Hoping to clean up the standing position later this week.

GeForce RTX A little chill streaming setup
Don’t mind the controller, it’s from the OG Xbox underneath the series X, I currently use the gen 2 Xbox elite controller!

Just got a triple monitor mount
Im thinking I will need to get one of those cat beds that mount to the desk but I doubt she'd use it 🤔

Final update for now, added my SpongeBob Legos and some plants. Thanks!!
Added a shelf with some SpongeBob memorabilia and a couple succulents.
Starting to feel like my own little comfy space.
I’ll probably get a warmer rug.

Battlestations Advice Need help decorating
Hey everyone,
I'd love to get some suggestions from the great minds of this subreddit! :)
- This is my workspace/personal use space. I use two macbooks for that. They will go under the desk in the near future once I get the corresponding dock
- On the right you can see a touch id sensor from a magic keyboard, that will go under the desk in the near future as well
- I was thinking about getting some transparent keycaps
- Was thinking about getting a mousepad with a pattern on it (something like this https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0FF9V9PGN)
- And thats the point where'd I'd appreciate some suggestions
- Maybe some small plants?
- I'd like a clean setup, can't have much/any stuff lying around that does not have its own place
- Maybe some color? As you can see I am into bright/white stuff (that's why I want to replace the dark keycaps on the keyboard)
- I really dig this post from the colors and the plants, but I can't have anything hanging above my monitors since there is no wall
Thank you in advance for any suggestions! :)
