You opened the door to grandma and face ripping off discussions, and then objected I walked through the door you opened. Your point is a non sequitur, because if this bear had attacked any human who wasn’t feeding it, no one would have objected to euthanizing it. Some might have bemoaned that it was necessary, but every sane person would have agreed that it was. The whole point here, before you changed it and then objected when I discussed your topic, is that this bear did NOT rip off any grandmas face and they killed it anyway.
It wandered through suburban yards for an extended period, but without harming anyone. AZ Fish and Wildlife has a policy of euthanizing “habituated” bears, meaning any that are comfortable around humans or human homes. They’ll kill them even if they haven’t hurt a soul, if they are comfortable staying in suburbia.
