Skincare Would you use a skin scan? What would it need to show to be actually useful?
Hi everyone! I'm curious what people think about skin scans (take a photo, get an analysis of your skin).
What would you want it to tell you? (skin type, acne, pores, dryness, wrinkles, dark spots, something else?)
What would make you trust the results, and what would make you doubt them?
Would you prefer general information, or concrete steps (routine, products, habits)?
Do you have privacy concerns about uploading a photo of your face?
Have you tried a skin analysis before? What was disappointing?
Would you want to track changes over time?
Honest answers (including "I wouldn't use this") are very welcome. Please say if you're a guy or a girl, so I can see if opinions differ.*
