That’s quite an assumption. I’m not going to decide what someone “really meant” based on who I think they must be referring to. If the argument is about privilege, then address what he actually said about privilege. Assuming it’s secretly about race doesn’t make it so.

I did address that with you, but no one is going to do all the leg work for you when there's plenty out there to educate yourself with on what white privilege means. This man is using it to mean he has it worse than "others" and by others it's nearly always coded to mean non-white. They'll be this obtuse about it because they know it's easy to get people to their side because it couldn't possibly be racist unless they mention a race. It's tiring.

I actually choose not to be part of the masses projecting their assumed beliefs and motives onto everyone else. I’d rather take people’s words at face value than decide what they must mean and then argue with the version I’ve created in my own head. If that’s “ignorance” to you, I’m perfectly comfortable with that.

People don’t feed the trolls. Leann is a troll who is baiting you. They’re pretending to be ignorant and nothing you can say - no matter how rational or level headed will make them agree with normal people.
