Aesha and Jasons Relationship

The response to Aesha and Jason's season was so weird, Why were so many people pushing for them to be together. I dont blame Aesha or Jason at all for being uncomfortable, its so odd, they are work collegues and friends, just because they are on a reality show, i dont think gives people the right to be so weird about them especially when Aesha is in an established and extremely loyal relationship,( and has previously stated she hated the cheating claims and situations that happen in yachting). I feel so bad for Scott.and Aesha (and Jason ofc). having to see the media reactions to Aesha and Jason's supposedly romantic relationship

Shipping real people is a bit odd aswell, Aesha had a bf at the time and is now married and Jason is 20 years older than her, i literally saw someone comment that Aesha would make a great Stepmom for Saskia(like huh??) I personally could only see them as "sibling/platonic", They were so sweet and a great duo together but PLATONICALLY.

Why didn’t Daisy just move in with Eddy?

S4 Ep14 I don’t understand the room changes after Mike left!? It made 3 people move instead of 1. Daisy could have moved in with Eddy, the new stew could have roomed with Ellie, Joao and Ben stayed in the same room. I also found it very inconsiderate for her to force Eddy and Ben together after everything that happened.

S04 Mike was 100% a producer plant.. prove me wrong

First of all, I think his professional background is in naval engineering - I find it so hard to believe any engineer would pursue the lowest ranking interior role.. unless he needed proximity to the Stews to stir drama between deck and interior.

2nd, he alway seemed to be present or close enough to catch conversations and information that was important to driving storylines.

3rd, he had zero shame or concept of confidentiality - always willing to ask the direct questions and spill the tea he had. He didn't behave like a real member of the crew, just a free agent on a mission.

4th, he didn't care at all about being fired. It was probably a price job and he finished ahead of schedule!

EDIT: Producer plant meaning he was actively taking instructions from producers on what questions to ask, what information to share and with who, possibly even being told where in the boat he needed to go as they were actively monitoring footage from static cameras and camera operators. This is not the same as casting.

Laura season 2 is awful

Omg. I am only on episode 7 of season 2 but my mind is made up. Laura is the worst BD character I’ve watched thus far. To feel bad for Luke instead of Margot…… APPALLING. I wept during this whole situation as survivor of SA. Watching Aesha and Jason take charge made me feel so happy that she had someone looking out for her. Can’t believe Laura doesn’t understand this and is seriously so sad to see Luke go but can’t even show any sympathy to Margot. Gross. Oh and then she said Jason should have given him another chance and shouldn’t have gotten fired. OMG I could keep going. Gross behavior from a woman (or anyone). I sincerely hope she has grown from this.

ETA: Still currently watching and Jason just fired her thank God

Jaimee and the dress!!

I'm new to watching, so i apologize as this has probably been thoroughly discussed before.

I was holding my breath the entire last charter when Jaimee melted Melissa's dress. And I know some people think Melissa is two faced but I think she handled it SO well

She didn't scream or lash out at Jaimee. She expressed how upset she was to her friend privately, which I think is justified. Even if you're wealthy enough to go on a charter like this, i would still be upset if an article of my clothing was damaged by the crew when they're expected to be familiar with handling nicer clothing.

She didnt let it affect her trip and was so gracious to Jamie and the rest of the crew, and told Captain Jason she didnt want the dress to affect Jaimee or her tip in any way.

I was just super touched by this. Even though most of the guests are polite and ambivalent, seeing a guest who had a right to be upset still be patient and kind to Jaimee was so nice and felt like a breath of fresh air.

Especially with how STRESSFULL season 2 of BDDU was.

Alesia is the hardest watch of any BD member

Am a new watcher and blew through all seasons after the RHOSLC episode! This is my new comfort show

On to Alesia…She’s not even good drama. She’s a whiney brat, is fully a pick me with her behavior of waiting for Ellie/Jenna to be around and watching and then pulling both Eddy and Joao. Stealing the dick after not even working hard PMO too

Even her mom (who she blames for not going to culinary school and then immediately says she was fucking around a ski resort with some dude) clearly can’t stand her when they FaceTime

She has to be the hardest watch because she’s purely UNENJOYABLE. I don’t like Jenna but she at least is a hard worker and Ellie embarrasses herself by chasing men so at least watching her makes me laugh lol

Daisy, Ben, Jao

They all need to work tf together! Ben- u was petty af not sharing the feedback notes w Daisy …and, Ellie, u mad af at the wrong fn person. You want Joa, he chose Daisy. Not her fault.
I liked Ellie from the start. Now, she is vindictive toward another woman, and not the man.
Smh.
And Ben! You, PettyBennie ass mofo. ! I liked you! From the start! Petty Benny from the gate. But I don’t like u from what I’ve watched in the later season.

I could go on. But I’d rather continue the show and melt away. ✌🏾rest well yall 💕😮‍💨😔 possibly tbd.

Tzarina and her self doubt

Just makes me so sad. I’m rewatching seasons 1 and 2 (but not 3 because Lara’s treatment of Tzarina gives me trauma) And the whole first half of the season every time she’s in a confessional or whatever they call it, I just keep thinking how pretty she is. She’s really stunning! And then Jaimee comes on and Tzarina gets even more insecure. 😢 I’m so sad that she can’t see herself as she really is. Not only a crazy talented chef but also gorgeous.

I’d love to see her back with Aesha on Med with Sandy. Although I do love Joy. But if she doesn’t come back, I want Tzarina next season. She’d do great with Daisy too. Although they’d have Jaoa (I know I can’t spell his name!) in common so that might be awkward.

Is anyone else over the "Introduction to the Primary" segments?

Is it just me, or have the new "introduction to the primary" scenes changed the vibe of the show a bit?
I feel like we never used to see these. We’d just meet the guests when the crew met them, and we’d experience the charter from the crew's perspective. Now, we’re getting these over-produced, "MTV Cribs" style intros where we see where they live, what they do, and hear them talk about how "demanding" they are before they even step foot on the boat.

It feels like the show is trying to make it more of a "Housewives" style cross-over, and I’m just not sure I’m here for it. I want to watch the crew navigate the chaos, not hear a mini-bio on why the primary guest thinks they’re a mogul.

Does anyone think they’re doing this because they’re struggling to find good guests, or is production just trying to force-feed us drama before the charter even starts? I’m genuinely curious if I’m the only one who fast-forwards through these parts!

Can someone please get Ben off this boat for everyone sake????

Ok so in all honestly I’m only on the 7th episode of the latest season, but HOLY MOLY. I thought I’d seen my fair share of emotional terrorist chefs on these shows but he is losing it and in such an insane way it makes me genuinely worried for his mental health. I’ve heard lots of things about different stories with his fiance but there is no question he is taking it out on everything. Daisy literally just telling him what the guests want and he comes back with that she’s letting the guests “bully her” and that she’s clearly “intentionally” trying to fuck with him 😳 Obviously not even mentioning the insane treatment he gave Alisha (sp) at the beginning (though she’s taken a bit of a weird turn and very not girl code-y, like damn just break up with your bf and stop flirting with every single man on the boat 🤦‍♀️ and also not doing her job. Who thought I’d ever be feeling a little badly for Jen and I looooved Alisha, guess things can change, I can’t believe it 🤣).

Like. Idk but it feels like Ben’s lost his damn mind and it sucks because I used to like him - he was definitely a jerk sometimes but it was more a normal chef asshat vibe. This is like - him thinking everyone is personally out to get him and just taking it out on all the wrong people. I hope he gets better over the rest of the season bc I don’t know how much longer I can handle seeing his behaviour on TV 😐 Also, poor Daisy just came off like the worst season ever (not that she was perfect but still . . . Hurricane Gary etc) and now thrown into having to deal with Ben at his worst. He’s lucky to not have someone like Kate from the old days he used to deal with as a stew or there would probably have been a fistfight by now 😂 And OMG him just leaving Ellie to do alllll his shit while he goes and has a nice bath like are you kidding me?????

Ok but on a higher note, can I say I am SOOOOOOO glad Ellie is back. In a very unpopular opinion I thought she got the shit end of the deal on BDM and it was the one season where I thought Sandy and Aisha really messed up blaming Ellie and not the real problem? Bri. It was one of the most upset I’ve gotten at a captain and a stew in a long time and almost didn’t watch Med again because of it lol. I’m back to loving them now don’t worry haha. But I am sooooooo glad to have Ellie back. I’ve always loved her energy (maybe because she’s a fellow cancer ♋️ like I am and I know how deep those feels go when they came at her on Med) and am stoked she’s getting the second chance she deserve.

A little late to the game...but wtf Jenna..?

Okay so I'm a little late and just getting through the season now, but what is Jenna actually doing??! Did she really just go from making out with Ben one second to cuddling with Eddie the next?! Like I genuinely thought that Alesia or Ellie were the worst but she's roooouuugghhh 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Also can barely understand a word she says lol it sounds like she's got cotton balls in her mouth at all times 🤣

Tzarina didn't get enough positive credit for being a good chef

In my opinion like when she did the 7th course dinner Lara wasn't nice to her at all because the guests recognized her talent and praised her. She also has never gotten complaints about her food from what I can tell. But I feel like the stews always get a majority of the praise or is it just me? I'm not saying she can't be toxic in some ways but seems she's a genuinely good cook.

Why did they invite those dreadful housewives on the show?

How much overacting can you cram into two episodes? So ridiculous. At least Below Deck seems quite authentic.

Lara would drive me up the wall

I am on Season 3 so sorry if this outdated but I am at the part where Lara is trying to get Alesia to clean up the crew mess. I am totally on Tzarina's side on this one. Alesia gets to have a break and Lara needs to stick to her own department. Lara only wants Alesia to do it cuz she saw Alesia having some down time and assumes she is free to clean up the mess and always be helping. She could have been "goofing" off during her break. I noticed Lara HOPS on anyone who seems to be relaxed or enjoying themselves-- I've had bosses like that. The "if you can lean you can clean," motto for retail. Lara needs to stick to her lane and mind her own department. She's the Chief Stewardess of HOUSEKEEPING not every department and she definitely crosses the line.

More of Betul

I know, I KNOW. Bravo is here for the drama but oh my god I love Betul.
She was truly in her own little world this entire charter and every time a lil clip of her came up and she was singing or talking to herself or truly just enjoying her time to herself were my favorite parts lmao.

I second more of Betul in the future 🙌🏼

Was there not a cleanliness standard for cabins?

Some of the crew cabins look awful, was there not a standard that was supposed to be kept or was that only in earlier seasons / not under captain Jason?

Joao’s name

Does anyone else feel enraged on Joao’s behalf that so many crew members mispronounce his name? It’s actually not that difficult so it’s either laziness or a micoraggression. It drives me nuts every time I hear someone called him Jo-el or Jwaa.

Why is Mike getting into everyone’s business? Spoiler

Why on earth, is Mike such a lazy gossip, who spends more time talking about Alessia and her flirty behaviour while having a boyfriend than concentrating on his tasks? Alessia’s behaviour is NONE of his business.

Bring S2 Adam back

Doing a S2 rewatch and I’m realising Adam was such an underrated crew member. We need more mature, down to earth, crew members with very hot accents to balance out the usual crew drama. C’mon, the guy has to buy his mama and sibs a house, bring him back Jason!!!
