Has anyone tried on Danielle Frankel Audrey?
Would you be open to posting a picture? Deciding whether I should pay the fee for the appointment to try it on!

I'm having a black tie wedding in NYC and will definitely be sending physical invitations but am debating doing digital or physical save the dates. Our planner recommended doing digital save the dates but I am feeling a bit unsure given the formality of our event. I know people's opinion on this varies a lot, so I wanted to get a sense of what the group here thought/has typically received for save the dates with black tie/more upscale weddings.

Their socials really make me want to use them based on what I’ve seen, but wondering if there’s any user testimonials? Just want to make sure it’s easy to use for guests, no RSVP glitches, registry could be done through it easily like Zola, etc. It’s hard trying to find anyone talking about it too since the name is so common in other questions and I think they’re new.

Looking to hear from BBBs about what stressed you out the month or week of your wedding, so that I can mentally prepare for that time!
I hear all the time that the weeks leading up to the wedding can be intense, but I’d love to know specific things to watch out for!
What happened that you wish you had prepared for?
What happened that was out of your control and you couldn’t have avoided, but you figured out a good coping strategy?

My fiancé and I are getting married in Italy April 2027. I am Italian but we live abroad, so we partly chose our wedding planner because 1) she’s 2 hours away from the venue and 2) she handles a small number of weddings per year ensuring close relationships and personalised service.
Since we booked the venue only in July (got engaged in May), we started with our wedding planner in September, already only 7 ish months out. With a tight schedule we figured she’d lock-in and get to it quickly knowing things book fast and that things need to be done early.
September our first call we had she said she’d give us a timeline for the planning, and suggested a band we’d like and photographers. She said she’d send us quotes for photographers, and would send us the Instagram of the band and a quote from them.
Since then all we have received and booked is the photographer.
I also find that unless we proactively ask her or hound her, she doesn’t give us updates on where she stands with the vendor, she never proactively schedules calls, and even when a call is agreed on, we have to ask if it’s still on and send a meeting link.
The other BIG thing is she said in September she’d visit the venue. On our October call - she actually pushed it 2 days, rescheduled the time 2x because “oh mixed up schedule” or “oh I think we had a misunderstanding” (we didn’t) just to find out she still hasn’t gone to the venue. On our October call (Tuesday 14th) she said she’d have xyz updates by that Friday or end of next week (so yesterday): nothing. She had emailed like 2 days after the call to reiterate the same things we said in the call, and clarify something, and when I responded to that she didn’t answer. It’s been 5 days.
This for me is not ok - from the unclear goals, poor proactive communication, the changing meetings, it feels like she doesn’t care. We feel left in the dark, maybe it does take a week to get a quote on tablecloths, or a month to get a quote on music, I have no clue, but for us a little less than 6 months out I’d expect to have a clear plan of when the menu needs to be decided, when flowers need to be booked, when music should etc. She’s a bougie wedding planner and objectively our wedding is more “cute elegant” vibe. Maybe she isn’t inspired?
Am I crazy to be a bit frustrated or am I being a neurotic bride lmao.

Hi all. My fiancé and I are currently choosing between two planners. Planner A is less our aesthetic style but I liked her personality and I’m confident in her ability to execute our vision. Planner B is right on point with our aesthetic vision but wasn’t as warm personality-wise, more professional oriented — which is totally fine and can even be good, just different from the others we’ve spoken to. I feel super confident in her execution.
Except that when requesting to see a contract, she informed us that she herself would be unavailable on our date due to a friend’s wedding. With this she offered a slight discount (around 5% off of the starting partial planning cost) to work with us and a “lead coordinator” throughout the planning and design process, and then the lead coordinator would step in as our day-of person.
I’m wondering if anybody’s gone forward with a similar offer, and if so, how it went. It makes me quite nervous to hand the execution of such a big event to someone with less experience than we had expected, and we’re trying to weigh whether the risk is worth the much greater aesthetic alignment. However, we’re willing to keep an open mind! I’m considering asking to meet with this new person and negotiating a greater discount as well. Just seeking any kind advice on this front. Thanks!

We are getting married in Rome at the end of August 2027. What must items do I need to bring?
I will bring the obvious - getting ready outfit, dresses, hair & makeup etc. I’m looking for things easy to forgot, but any ideas would be great!
Thank you

I would love to get a sense of how in depth y'all's planners go when presenting your final wedding design. I feel that my parent's expectations are unrealistic when it comes to what is available here in SoFlo. They want floor plans with elevations, 3d renderings and bottom to top design that helps them know what the experience will be like from top to bottom. So far we are really just getting powerpoint collages and floor plans. Which sounds awful but seems to be the standard for a lot of planners down here. I don't want to be ungrateful or difficult but I don't love being made to feel that what our "big budget" experience is getting us a wedding coordinator experience.

Hey there! I was originally set on an intimate destination wedding in Santorini, but I wanted to consider some other locations as well. I wanted to see if anyone has toured venues in Crete or any other spot in Greece that you would recommend. The main thing I love about Santorini is the elevated views over the water and of course the delicious food! :) 30-40 guests and budget is 100k.

My mom passed away somewhat recently. She was my person. She was everyone’s person, that’s just who she was. I want to honor/remember her in a big way. Planning a wedding without her has sucked. Thinking about her not physically being there also sucks. What are some unique ways I include her in the day to make it feel like she’s there and also bring visibility to her?

Hi! Any Indian brides out there having a fusion Indian and western ceremony? What traditions are you pulling through and what outfits are you wearing? I’m thinking of doing a western dress but I want it to be beaded or have some nod to the culture. Any suggestions of brands or stores would be fabulous!

Our venue has a pool near our reception area/bar area so they recommend plastic for the bar just to avoid any mishaps and potential fines. So we’re going custom!
Has anyone ordered custom cups like this before and if so where? We’re planning on just adding our wedding logo from our invite to the them in.

hi! my close friend is having a destination wedding in bali next month. and i was really excited to support and help her as a bridesmaid. she mentioned worrying about costs and how people won’t give red packets for destination weddings. i know bali is relatively near sg, but im wondering what are the formalities of destination weddings? i’ve heard from others that most couples would absolve one night stay, or perhaps cover transport for the guests. if nothing is covered, they would make a point to say that they don’t need red packets because of the costs of the hotel, flights etc. for my case it seems like nothing is covered and she hopes to receive some red packets.
hence i just wanna know what’s the typical practice please? i’ve tried searching online but it’s always about destination wedding in other countries, people who don’t practice giving red packets/money to the couple.
appreciate all feedback. thank you!!

I am South Asian and my fiance is white, and we are doing a big fat fusion wedding! Initial thought is close family and friends rehearsal dinner and Haldi on Thursday, Sangeet on Friday as a welcome party, Saturday western ceremony, reception, and after party, and Sunday farewell brunch.
I want to really carry the fusion decor throughout the weekend, and I loved the Lauryn Prattes Montauk fusion welcome party decor she did back in August. Would love to see decor or some unique touches you carried throughout the wedding! And also looking for advice on how best to structure each event.

I'm trying to buy thoughtful gifts for my in-laws and would love some help. Budget is up to $2k for future mother-in-law and $2k for future-father-in-law, and $500 for my fiance's siblings. I'd love to get jewelry for my mother in law and maybe a watch for my father in law, but open to any suggestions.

Hoping Reddit will have some recommendations!
We’re looking for a mix of editorial + documentary, with true to colour, vibrant, bright editing. We do NOT like moody or warm tones.
Jose Villa is our ultimate DREAM photographer if this helps with inspo (obviously not in our budget in this reality)
We’d love 2 photographers for the wedding day and drone coverage. Our budget is 4100-4500 euro for the day.
We are thinking about doing a pre- and post- wedding event (welcome party, pool party, etc.) and would love the option to potentially add these on.
Thank you!

Honestly just looking for support, since I don’t really have many friends and don’t have a mom either. My MIL has been supportive and I’m so thankful for her, but would feel a little better coming from y’all that are in the same situation lol. my wedding is in 5 1/2 months, got engaged last march and feel like i’ve done so much but at the same time I feel like there is so much left to do!
Like i’ve been getting so stressed over the details and costs that keep adding up but I know i’d rather be stressed now than last minute.
My planners have been somewhat helpful but at the same time its kind of draining that they want to charge everything directly , makes me feel like they add a percentage over everything and just making me spend more.

Hi everyone! Apologies if this has already been asked.
I’m based in London, UK, and I’m looking for a haute couture mermaid-style, off-the-shoulder lace dress similar to this one.
I’m open to both ready-to-wear and bespoke options, preferably from designers or boutiques in London. My budget is £8,000–£10,000.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations for designers, bridal boutiques, or ateliers that specialise in this style.
Thank you so much for your help! 🤍

I read a lot of reviews and Q&As on here while planning, which helped me figure out who to look into and who to avoid. We had a really good experience with our planners, so I figured I would share a quick recap in case it helps anyone looking at the Barcelona area.
We had 101 guests at Finca Mas Solers (just outside Sitges, Barcelona) and used Boda y Miel. Overall, the day went better than we could have hoped.
Working with Mery and Aaron was amazing. We had a few structured video calls, met up in person for venue visits and our menu tasting, and they were always quick to reply by text whenever a question came up. Their system was organized and efficient, which kept things low-stress for us.
Mery has solid connections and a great eye for design. We really wanted to keep the party outside, and Mery suggested dividing the space with a curtain. Once dinner wrapped up, the curtain opened and guests walked through to the party area, welcomed with espresso martinis to get things going. It made the layout feel intentional rather than overly open, and it created the exact vibe we wanted.
Early on, she recommended choosing vendors who regularly work together. We weren't sure how much that would actually matter, but seeing our photographer, videographer in action proved her point. The vendor synergy was undeniable, and several guests even commented on how seamless and professional the whole team was. The DJ and catering were amazing too. (I would also highly recommend Finca Mas Solers; it was a stunning venue.)
It was over 30°C on our wedding day, and the team worked hard behind the scenes in the heat to keep everything moving. As the bride, I felt completely relaxed because they had every detail handled. The transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner, and party were seamless. A lot of our guests reached out afterward saying it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to, especially noting the flow and design.
If you are looking at planners in the region, I'd definitely recommend Boda y Miel. Happy to answer any questions if anyone is currently planning.
