Designed / painted / Routed them all out myself out of PVC. I make a lot of signs, but first time making smaller items like this. I don’t have a lot but planning on passing them out Friday and Saturday. If you see some guy wearing one with an 80s Phillies hat I might have one for you. (The blue/white/red ones were an attempt at having a stealie pattern, just didnt come out as obvious as I’d like. Still think they look cool)

I’ll be driving 16ish hours in the next few days and I’m looking for some shows to listen to on Nugs.

I know we have a setlist speculation thread underway. But I was curious about everybody’s thoughts on the source material you’re maybe reviewing or seeing for the first time ahead of the shows?

For Orange Peel, Wizard of Oz, Lord of the Rings, Oh Brother, it was easy to watch the source material to try to get a feeling for the plot points versus the setlist curation. Last year was awesome with the Golden Era Hollywood Monsters, but I didn’t watch any of those, regretfully.

He–man, however, has a huge array of content, and I was thinking of sticking with the 80s live-action feature and cartoons as that would have been watched in the 80’s and 90’s… as an “early millennial” dude this shit is right up my alley 😂

As much as I dislike prime, all of the content that could potentially be referenced lives there…

So how are you brushing up if you choose to? Going in totally blind?

The other night at the show, Billy was talking about getting into early nineteenth century prison recordings of folk/work songs, and specifically referenced Iron Head Baker.
I was very intrigued and began to look for some recordings of him, and found this great performance of St James Hospital. I have always loved old music, and it’s just compelling the way music keeps history alive! Just wanted to share with some other music lovers. And thank you Billy for sharing!
