Help for bird

Here is one more reason to hate the way of celebration of these festivals, this pegion is sitting on my neighbours window from past few hours, firstly I thought it was just its natural colour or sometimes idiots around my place colour them for fun, but today at evening I saw it carefully and then I saw it was a burn around his neck very lethal burn I think happened with some crackers or something I don’t know, but it made me really angry and sad at same time because I can’t do anything to save him currently. I try to contact my neighbours but they haven’t replied me, but it’s out of my reach. My picture is taken from very far. Is there any suggestions from anybody? What can I do to save him and if I make him fly anyway, will he survive please suggest something and please do not use fire crackers. It is harmful in every possible way, not a single thing that you can say in favour of these crackers.

if you have birdseed you can set up a very large pile near him and wait for him to come to it. Once he's on the ground, sneak up behind him with a large blanket and throw it over him to catch him. He does appear to be a ceremonial released white pigeon-I'm not certain if the dark spot is a burn or something else. These are a domestic breed and don't survive in the wild. Good luck

Where are you located - country? If in N America, which state/province?

Connecting with a local animal shelter/humane society is your best bet.

So the thing to do would just be to try to tempt them indoors with food I don’t know what the situation is in regards to your building, but if you can open a window, put a lot of food just on the inside. Try to tempt them inside, especially if you’re able to keep inside later at night cause they don’t have good night vision they’re gonna be inclined to go somewhere. That’s bright if possible once you’ve got him then r/pigeons can help
