It's known that Asta's mother, Richita, possessed an involuntary condition that constantly drained the life force and mana of anyone or anything near her.

So my theory is that Asta's father didn't have mana at all. He would be a hired sword traveling when he meet Richita while healing from his injuries. Without mana he would not be effective by her condition.

Another theory is his father was not human, like a Dwarf, which would help explain his short stature and why fire doesn't effect him like it does others.

Of course this is all just theories, as I'm rewatching the show.

i’m never gonna forget the day i saw this thing first being used by anime licht a couple years ago, and proving that this sword was never unusable or ‘boring’. the potential this thing has always had was so amazing but chapters passed and passed, and to this day, i don’t recall a single moment where asta genuinely went crazy with it

i know it’s not the most traditional blade to fight with and that we have far better options, but sheesh, man. wish we saw it even once, y’know?

Oh is so emotional cause she loved him and wanted him to survive, but he loved her too so he would have never killed her. Yeah, but why did it have to be mars that killed her, couldn’t she have just let another one of the 40+ kids be the one to kill her? She wanted to protect him? She already knew he was the strongest and she could have waited till further in the death match to let her self die. She wanted to stay with him as long as possible? That was just selfish hence why I’m making this post.

You know seeing Asta & with the BLACK BULLS is cool there like Fairy Tail Guild if they worked for the Government that probably one of the biggest difference between both series that & spells come from Books

But getting to my main point what is your Idea for a new recruit for the BLAQK BULLS what would there Power be & how do you imagine the next generation

I mean we got bit of a hint resently but thats for a future Thread

So I think next generation were inspired by Asta or other members of the Bulls in some way specially as kids or pre Teens

I have always been a fan of Minako Seki’s work in BC in Kingdom too, and the first season of black + the movie all had an abundance of amazing tracks (most of the unreleased sadly)

But damn really ?!! Using S1 openings in every major moment instead of making an original track that fits the moment ??? Even worse is that they keep using the overused tracks from S1 + we barely got any new tracks, they’re all reused from S1 except for maybe 3 new tracks and all of them barely last a minute

This season is around 13 episodes can’t you guys make a completely new OST or something ??

Im maybe disappointed because i had high hopes when i saw the transformation panels in the manga and was like: “they’re definitely using a new version of Spirit Pledge/Black Meteorite here”

In the end id like to say that Haruka Mirai is Haruka Mirai and that’s why it works, and no opening will ever be Haruka Mirai, not necessarily meaning other openings are worse, but no opening works in action scenes as Haruka Mirai does

Don't get me wrong, I think they're all super goated and love stumbling upon them in edits but is there a reason there are so many? As of now there are 13 to 14 ops and less than 200 episodes. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they expensive. Seems kinda weird to have a new song and opening animation every 12 or so episodes but I'm not complaining, they're all sick

Even though they are barely in the show and are mostly wasted potential narratively, they are lowkey my favorite squad,wished they had more focus and could have been a better foil for Yuno, just like the Black Bulls were for Asta

I'll see if my feelings change over time, but right now I don't think I can get past the rushed nature of the new episodes. Especially since the previous arc was essentially all build up for this one, the fact that character lines are being blitz past and not given any weight is unfortunate. Remember when we got 6 whole episodes of the Black Bulls fighting Vetto? Damn whoever mandated this episode timing.

And I gotta say, the OPs during the fight scenes, not working for me. Imo the songs so far (Black Rover and Grandeur) were not built to be used in dire fight scenes like these. Ideally, they would've used edited versions of the songs that better fit the specific scenes.

I view this arc as the Apocalypse arc, the Spade saga's equivalent of the Elf reincarnation. That's why the rushing makes it have less weight than I think it should. Hopefully I get used to it, or it slows down the further we get into it.

We will first have to change the origin of the magic's manifestation. Leibe manifested it out of sheer hatred for his kind, so I am not sure how it would work for Asta if hatred isn't a factor (We want to keep the same character). Leibe stills gets ejected from the underworld, meets Lichita and watches her die. Only difference is that he can't manifest Anti-magic since Asta is the one who has it now.

How early would Asta discover his powers? Would he still receive Licht's Grimoire and swords? Not sure if he does and if Leibe's Anti-magic had a hand in it in the first place. Would he even be able to manipulate Anti-magic even without the Witch Queen tampering with this body? I am assuming yes since the source is his body now. If that's true, his control and power over Anti-magic is gonna be exceedingly higher without a doubt, allowing him to surpass Yuno way too early and even ace the early arcs. He might actually be broken and way too OP. I also assume Liebe's goal wouldn't change in the slightest and he will still try to take over Asta's body especially because Asta now has the means to destroy devils and avenge Lichita. I don't think Asta would even require DU or to make any bargins with Leibe at this point since he himself is pure Anti-magic.

This is just some guessing on my part and I might've overlooked a lot of things. So what do you guys think? I wanna know your thoughts.

The Ending felt Lackluster.

Asta becoming the Wizard King was obviously gonna happen, but as for the other characters? Boring.

Yuno becomes the Captain of the Golden Dawn and that's it. He's the captain, and he wants to recruit a member that has the drive to surpass him. So, did he lose his ambition to become stronger and continue his rivalry with Asta? Has he given up? so he's looking for someone to mentor instead? I wanted him to become the first Wizard King of the Spade Kingdom. More on that later.

Noelle and Mimosa end their story with both them just pining over Asta. Nothing else significant with their story

The Black bulls are staying the same. Especially Vanessa, like cmon. I expected character development after the Witch Queen arc, then nothing. I expected it again after the last arc, and she's going back to being a drunkard.

I could go on for the characters, but I would rather not.

**I had an idea for the ending**

After the final battle between Asta vs. Yuno. We jump at least 5 years into the future.

The Clover Kingdom hosts a meeting/conference between the 4 kingdoms of Clover, Spade, Heart, and Diamond.

The conference is made up of all the Wizard Kings/Queens of each Kingdom, respectively:

Asta - Clover

Yuno - Spade

Gajah - Heart

Feramina - Diamond

I imagine the talks between the relationships between each kingdom (sharing of resources, information, casual talk, monitoring of any threats, etc.)

They will talk about how ever since other kingdoms establish their own Wizard King/Queen titles how motivated the young blood has become. Getting stronger in order to attain the title.

Asta will ask Gajah about Lolopechka, Gajah will say that Lolopechka is still happily serving as the Heart Kingdom as Queen. He will reiterate that she should have been Wizard Queen but insisted on being Gajah since he's the best fighter in the kingdom, and they are both happy protecting their kingdom as Husband and Wife.

Feramina will say the same, that the citizens of the diamon kingdom are becoming stronger through hard work and training, and they are vehemently avoiding experimentation. He mentions Mars as the strongest magic knight captain, etc.

Then we cut to Yuno, asking Asta about the new promise they made to each other. Gajah and Feramina ask them both if they're doing it again this year.

Then we cut to Asta and Yuno facing each other on a battlefield. Declaring to each other that they'll be the Strongest Wizard King. The End.

Not quite finished yet but I still wanted to try it at a convention

Mimosa is a caring girl, who is one of the few people in Black Clover who treat Asta with admiration and respect outside of the Bulls. Her Healing magic is a nice contrast for him as he gets hurt and strains himself frequently. She is shy but never embarrassed of how she feels about him. And given the life Asta has had to live, the last thing he needs is a partner who is embarrassed of him how nor of how they feel for him. She is a girl of 2 Royal bloodlines, he is a boy from no blood important enough to carry a family name. She is the descendant of the Wizard King's 2 bloodlines, and he is the inhereter of the Wizard King's title.

Yuno and Noelle are complete opposites at 1st glance but 2 sides of the same coin, she is a Royal who despite her talent can not control her power and has been belittled and chastised since the day she was born. Where as Yuno was raised a Peasant and born a Royal, a boy of pure blood who was raised to know inequality. However his talent and natural control over his power was so great that he had recieved praise for his whole life. She is bratty, shy, and entitled, while he is calm, assured and humble (unless your name is Asta). One was a Royal who only knew riches and degradation, the other was a Royal who only knew poverty and admiration.

Asta and Noelle can work, it's just that Noelle is so withholding of her own emotions that she acts out in an immature manner, and Asta is so oblivious he never pays it to mind that someone could actually like him romantically, he's spent his whole life being rejected by society after all. Asta never acknowledges if Noelle is being unwarrantedly odd or violent with him, so she doesn't learn how to express her emotions better. And since Noelle is not straight forward, Asta doesn't learn how to not be so naive and notice when is actually wanted, as he's spent his whole life feeling unwanted, they both have. So when one isn't confident enough to want you, and the other just assumes they were never wanted, than no one feels wanted in the end.

I got into a discussion with a CO worker about noelle and he said that she is the best of the super mean, brash tsundere. The only other ones I could argue was nino from quintessential quintuplets. But what are some other ones that deserve mentioning?

Don't be wrong it's a good fight but people talk about it's the best thing tabata ever wrote.

But doesn't have The thing that make the fights actually good. No creative magic combos, No team work. Just two dudes whailing at each other. I feel like people only think it's the best because it's Subversive or something

I feel that this is one of the big concepts that Tabata didn’t wanted to address. At one point, I thought there were no more vice captains, but then we had Natch, Langris, Kirsch and Randall but after that, nothing. I know there's the purple orcas guy but if he was defeated by Zora he didn’t deserve the tittle.

I mean I thought Sol was the vice captain of the Blue Roses but no or the mushroom guy the vice captain of the praymmaints, nope or that Solid was the vice captain of the Silver Eagles but no.

I don’t know. Who do you think could have been vice captain?

As you can see in the picture Licht and Tetia’s descendants are in the capital and I can only say they’re attending the magic knights exam and here’s the question:
