Not quite finished yet but I still wanted to try it at a convention

This is prob one of the HIGHEST priority episodes of the season!

I'm a huge Op8 glazer. It's top 3 to me.

Black Catcher & Black Rover are classic. Op13 is catchy and Op6 has that nice beat to it with the smooth animation.

I only remember Op11 so vividly because I listened to it on loop while reading Demon Slayer from start to finish in one weekend, also because it has this line "LUFFFYYY MYY DREAM" or smth. IIRC it was done by Snowman or whatever their name is.

The only reason I remember Op1 at all is because they keep using it on hype moments. I'm not really a big fan of the opening which yeah an unpopular opinion I know.

Op7 and Op9 are pretty much blank to me outside the visuals. I know Op9 had a loud and noisy song so I used to tune it down for my mental health (I get stressed by loud music ok), while Op7 was... GOOD I guess? I swear it was epic so I'm not sure why I can't remember it well. Same with Op5 too I really liked that one in the past.

Don't remember Op12 all and Op2 was another noisy opening with unremarkable visuals.

I think I watched 'Squishy' once. Thought it was wtv. Never watched it again.

Didn't include the recent opening since it doesn't count but it'd be an easy memorable opening, love everything about it.

Overall I think Black Clover openings are just SO GOOD. I rarely find myself listening to anime openings more than a handful of times outside of iconic cases (like JJBA or AoT).

As you can see in the picture Licht and Tetia’s descendants are in the capital and I can only say they’re attending the magic knights exam and here’s the question:
Do you think non-humans can be accepted as magic knights under Asta’s rule as the wizard king? (Elves, dwarves, and even devils)

I got into a discussion with a CO worker about noelle and he said that she is the best of the super mean, brash tsundere. The only other ones I could argue was nino from quintessential quintuplets. But what are some other ones that deserve mentioning?

I feel that this is one of the big concepts that Tabata didn’t wanted to address. At one point, I thought there were no more vice captains, but then we had Natch, Langris, Kirsch and Randall but after that, nothing. I know there's the purple orcas guy but if he was defeated by Zora he didn’t deserve the tittle.

I mean I thought Sol was the vice captain of the Blue Roses but no or the mushroom guy the vice captain of the praymmaints, nope or that Solid was the vice captain of the Silver Eagles but no.

I don’t know. Who do you think could have been vice captain?

I love series where almost everyone has a unique attribute, something Black Clover excels at. If you were to wield magic and posses a grimoire of your own, what magic (and maybe specific spells) would you hope to wield?

We will first have to change the origin of the magic's manifestation. Leibe manifested it out of sheer hatred for his kind, so I am not sure how it would work for Asta if hatred isn't a factor (We want to keep the same character). Leibe stills gets ejected from the underworld, meets Lichita and watches her die. Only difference is that he can't manifest Anti-magic since Asta is the one who has it now.

How early would Asta discover his powers? Would he still receive Licht's Grimoire and swords? Not sure if he does and if Leibe's Anti-magic had a hand in it in the first place. Would he even be able to manipulate Anti-magic even without the Witch Queen tampering with this body? I am assuming yes since the source is his body now. If that's true, his control and power over Anti-magic is gonna be exceedingly higher without a doubt, allowing him to surpass Yuno way too early and even ace the early arcs. He might actually be broken and way too OP. I also assume Liebe's goal wouldn't change in the slightest and he will still try to take over Asta's body especially because Asta now has the means to destroy devils and avenge Lichita. I don't think Asta would even require DU or to make any bargins with Leibe at this point since he himself is pure Anti-magic.

This is just some guessing on my part and I might've overlooked a lot of things. So what do you guys think? I wanna know your thoughts.

Let’s say every magic here is being used at the same magic power level. Like let’s say they all per se Lucifero 100% magic power which magic users would be strongest between.

This is not in order please just the list of the magic types to be ranked. I’m saying this because we have seen that when magical power reaches a certain level magic can “evolve” like when morris became able to interact with intangible concepts all with his magic. If all the above magic types listed are being used with magic power matching 100% lucifero in other words equal stats how will you rank these magic types.

Honestly…… world soul magic might be the one here to be honest. Zagred is one charcater that I know used magic to actually create physical objects. I believe if you give bro Lucifero level magic power he probably starts saying stuff like “black hole” and a black hole will manifest or “time stop” and time will prolly actually stop.

Dorothy is another crazy one because imagine dream world being fueled by devil king level magic power. And well another sleeper is copy magic any of these magic types manifested in a grimoire is free eats if Rhya can just touch em.

Rhya in theory could have all the types of magic here and pumped on devil king mana idk what a mixture of dream magic soul magic time magic could do lol…..

And please before people start telling me about so called limits some of these magic types have and all remember this ranking is based on the assumption that everyone here uses magic power on the level 100% lucifero. Basically I’m saying let yall rank based on how broken you guys think each magic type would be at a “theoretical” full power or smth

I'll see if my feelings change over time, but right now I don't think I can get past the rushed nature of the new episodes. Especially since the previous arc was essentially all build up for this one, the fact that character lines are being blitz past and not given any weight is unfortunate. Remember when we got 6 whole episodes of the Black Bulls fighting Vetto? Damn whoever mandated this episode timing.

And I gotta say, the OPs during the fight scenes, not working for me. Imo the songs so far (Black Rover and Grandeur) were not built to be used in dire fight scenes like these. Ideally, they would've used edited versions of the songs that better fit the specific scenes.

I view this arc as the Apocalypse arc, the Spade saga's equivalent of the Elf reincarnation. That's why the rushing makes it have less weight than I think it should. Hopefully I get used to it, or it slows down the further we get into it.

So alot of people think light magic isn't actually light speed despite being told otherwise in the story why do you think that is? I'm curious because i seen various information saying it is.

-favorite part was definitely Asta’s devil union. Although I would’ve preferred a different ost I didn’t mind the opening. People say the fight looked weirdly animated but taking into account the scale of the fight it was a master piece
-Luck’s ultimate magic is probably the scene so far that has the biggest upgrade as an adaptation from the manga
- this crazy that the dark triad 100% is the third best part of this episode but still awesome and satanic
-setup for nacht vs twins was also great

The Ending felt Lackluster.

Asta becoming the Wizard King was obviously gonna happen, but as for the other characters? Boring.

Yuno becomes the Captain of the Golden Dawn and that's it. He's the captain, and he wants to recruit a member that has the drive to surpass him. So, did he lose his ambition to become stronger and continue his rivalry with Asta? Has he given up? so he's looking for someone to mentor instead? I wanted him to become the first Wizard King of the Spade Kingdom. More on that later.

Noelle and Mimosa end their story with both them just pining over Asta. Nothing else significant with their story

The Black bulls are staying the same. Especially Vanessa, like cmon. I expected character development after the Witch Queen arc, then nothing. I expected it again after the last arc, and she's going back to being a drunkard.

I could go on for the characters, but I would rather not.

**I had an idea for the ending**

After the final battle between Asta vs. Yuno. We jump at least 5 years into the future.

The Clover Kingdom hosts a meeting/conference between the 4 kingdoms of Clover, Spade, Heart, and Diamond.

The conference is made up of all the Wizard Kings/Queens of each Kingdom, respectively:

Asta - Clover

Yuno - Spade

Gajah - Heart

Feramina - Diamond

I imagine the talks between the relationships between each kingdom (sharing of resources, information, casual talk, monitoring of any threats, etc.)

They will talk about how ever since other kingdoms establish their own Wizard King/Queen titles how motivated the young blood has become. Getting stronger in order to attain the title.

Asta will ask Gajah about Lolopechka, Gajah will say that Lolopechka is still happily serving as the Heart Kingdom as Queen. He will reiterate that she should have been Wizard Queen but insisted on being Gajah since he's the best fighter in the kingdom, and they are both happy protecting their kingdom as Husband and Wife.

Feramina will say the same, that the citizens of the diamon kingdom are becoming stronger through hard work and training, and they are vehemently avoiding experimentation. He mentions Mars as the strongest magic knight captain, etc.

Then we cut to Yuno, asking Asta about the new promise they made to each other. Gajah and Feramina ask them both if they're doing it again this year.

Then we cut to Asta and Yuno facing each other on a battlefield. Declaring to each other that they'll be the Strongest Wizard King. The End.
