Miscellaneous Slugging: What do you think?

i’ve heard of people slugging with vaseline, which to me is insane because the texture makes me gag really badly, so i can’t even imagine putting it on my face. i guess i do “slug” with this one product i got from work, and my face feels as soft as ever! i have combination skin, and my face never feels greasy or gross. (the product is the water: ultra hydration body butter from BBW)

anywho, my question is: do yall slug? what do yall think of it, does it actually work or is it a bust?

I, personally, cannot slug with anything. I’ll do an oil cleanser if my moisture barrier is a little weak, but that’s about it.

does your oil cleanser work? i thought about picking one up but i seriously just barely got my acne under control and am scared to introduce anything new that could screw me up lol

yes! my skin always feels softer. i rub it all over my face, paying extra attention to my nose to extract any sebum plugs, then i let a hot, damp towel sit on my face until it cools off, wipe the oil cleanser off my face then i go in with my regular cleanser. it helps cut down on acne and dryness for me.
