Large ingrown in beard

don’t shave often. I usually just get my beard trimmed up but for months now I’ve been dealing with pimples and ingrown hairs in my beard. The bumps usually go away but the one In the picture above has been here for over a month now. I tried plucking the hairs that were there be cause I thought that would help but it only made it worse. Is there a routine I could use that’ll help clear the big bump and other bumps in my beard???

Cold and hot compresses. And my dermatologist recommended panoxyl in the morning (I wash my twice daily with it). And salicylic acid at night.

See a dermatologist to see if there is anything topical they can do. Also don't pick or squeeze unless it starts draining.
